Double LEGO Insiders points coming soon

Great, let's plan to buy some of this year's retirement sets during this period. ;)

Can't wait to get a ton of points and then have them expire a year later because I forgot about them... again!

Would have been even happier if double points plus the excellent Bakery GWP had coincided with the upcoming Ideas Botanical Garden but there are plenty of other must haves still to grab in the meantime.

Never mind Winter heating bills... I'll make do with an extra jumper... Or maybe another blanket on Black Friday!

I hadn't realised this, it does say in their FAQs 18 months, and they warn you via email first. Presumably they are completely wiped after 18 months?

I have a load of points at the moment. I must get round to spending them instead of just accumulating them.

And try my theory of spending them and acquiring double points on what's left, as you gave to spend over the points you use. Although it'll probably have to be an expensive set to make it worth my while.

Yep. I recently got 10320 and I will use this double points to get 71741.

I noticed some of the insider sets have lower point thresholds recently. Ninjago microscale for example.

I have definitely purchased enough to reset, but I ought to spend them. I think I have over $100 now, maybe I'll see if there's anything I want to get with this 2xVIP and then spend next time. That Medieval town set looks pretty good to me even if most of my Castle stuff is 80s and 90s...

Good, I have a few decent size purchases to make. Is there usually another 2x with Black Friday? I don't really need them until Christmas but I guess there's no reason to wait other than GWP.

I'm based in the UK. Does anyone know if there is another Double Insider Points event later this year (nearer Christmas)?

There will be the Black Friday weekend and then during the second week of December, based on prior years.

I order a batch of Bricks & Pieces every couple of months, mostly on the double point days, and only use the points on non-double point days when there is a good GWP. I don't think I ever had points expire.

think double points will count for the bricklink sets?
