Today's random set is 70727 X-1 Ninja Charger, released during 2014. It's one of 10 Ninjago sets produced that year. It contains 426 pieces and 3 minifigs, and its retail price was US$39.99/£34.99.
It's owned by 2,464 Brickset members. If you want to add it to your collection you should find it for sale at BrickLink, where new ones sell for around $135.00, or eBay.

It's not usually a good sign if the front of your car is on fire.
Said it once, I'll say it again:
The Nindroids should've been robot clones of the Ninja (like the Doom Doppelgangers from the most recent Dreamzzz wave). Instead they're just generic baddie-bots.

We had those in season 2: https://ninjagocharacters.fandom.com/wiki/Bizarro_Ninja
Kai has the best vehicles out of all the ninja, in my opinion. Although he certainly has had quite a few.

Robbie Reyes would disagree. As would Pattinson’s Batman.

No. No, it's not.

One of the worst designs for ninjago.
It looks nice but it was fragile mess.
Lore time!
While in the midst of a search for the missing Cyrus Borg and renegade Nindroids created by the Overlord, Kai was given the Prototype X-1. The questionable logic of giving the somewhat irresponsible Kai such a powerful (and undoubtedly valuable) vehicle was balanced by the fact that Pixal could take control of it remotely. She would do so in order to direct Kai in pursuing Nindroid-hijacked trucks that turned out to be carrying rocket fuel. Like many a Ninjago vehicle, the X-1 disappeared with no apparent explanation at the conclusion of the season in which it was introduced.
Of course, the X-1 DID reappear in the Reimagined short Gold Rush. However, that appearance was based on the Legacy set, which a number of fans seem to have felt was a downgrade from this original version.
One of the coolest! Not only does the front open to have the driver escape by motorcycle and the back open to become a fully rotating spring missle turret, but it also has sideways swiveling flick missle launchers. This set is basically an Agents set but with Ninjago colors! Add in two pursuing nindroids and it's amazing!
Fun fact: it uses a black basketball hoop (Friends revised version) at the back as a rocket booster funnel.
You'd think it was something for the ninjas to charge in, but looking at how it seems to be tackling Kai it really looks like its something for charging down ninjas
You would expect that windscreen to be one-way glass, but it's not. It's just black glass.
While I enjoy the show, I'll never get over Ninja, once known for being stealthy assassins, have become superheroes that use the loudest and most bombastic machines.

It's actually an overly-complicated payment device; it charges ninja money.

I can sort of agree with you in a way. I swear that you could try to find more insight towards the philosophy behind the Ninjago series through stuff like the Ten Years of Spinjitzu Documentary, or the book titled The Secret Life of LEGO Bricks. To quote Tommy Andreasen on this, "A ninja on a dragon makes perfect sense once you have a skeleton riding a monster truck."
That said, I feel like the Season 5 finale kind of does lean in to the traditional feel of a ninja. Case in point, Nya is dressed up as a decoy Green Ninja, while the other Ninjas (Kai, Jay, Zane, Cole, and Lloyd) are dressed up as civilians in order to get close to the Realm Crystal. I also recall a few episodes in Ninjago Dragons Rising where the Ninjas disguise themselves as enemies like the Imperium Citizens or Wolf Mask Warriors.
That, and Naruto also exists, and that is made in Japan.

By Season 5, Episode 6, this car ends up falling into Dareth's possession, and then he crashes it into a cement truck.

it also appeared briefly during s5 with dareth driving it, implying it left the prototype phase and got a full release
@Spectron256 there have been other instances where the Ninjago Ninja were trying to be stealthy/wore disguises. We first saw Cole, Jay, and Zane in black ninja garb, and the boys all later donned similar attire during Crystalized. Some or all of the Ninja have also disguised themselves as Stone Warriors, Anacondrai Cultists, Sky Pirates, Vermillion Warriors, Sons of Garmadon, Dragon Hunters, and sundry other villains. The crew do use stealth when needed, but I think they also try to be visible in a superhero/crime fighter way.
