I kind of want the Message Board but it is overpriced. A discount will be appealing.

I bought 10320 way back shortly after it was released and about a week before they did a 2x Insider points deal. I grabbed a second one over the summer when Target had a really good deal on it. From what I'm seeing most of what's on offer elsewhere around the world I already have or don't want. Only thing I think I'd grab is the Disney Princess Market set if we get a deal for it in the US.

Looks like you can get the OG Eldorado on Bricklink for about the same price as the remake right now. Maybe you should get that instead?

Nothing on sale I don't already have...so I got myself a 2nd El Dorado Fortress to keep in my sealed collection.

I really want 40700 for my son, but we'll be out of town for the next week. I may have to ask our neighbor take the package inside if they decide to be really fast with the shipping.

Some people received that code by mail from lego.
I missed that one so I just snatched another 40586 , codes are now expired

41838 and 71741 don't appear to be part of the sale in the US.

Edit: Looks like 71741 actually was, but it already sold out.

Damn I wanted to pull the trigger on NINJAGO City Markets this weekend, but seeing now it could also go with 20% off in a year or two, I hesitate to do it :)

It's a pretty neat GWP though! I can't remember what I got with mine, the flowerpot maybe, so you're winning in my book.

10320 would have been the only thing I was interested in, but (at least in Germany) it's out of stock already.

Limited my purchase to 21338 A-Frame Cabin. Not interested in the current GWPs, so it was an easy decision not to spend more than necessary!

Very happy with that! I had held out on the A-frame cabin and NASA space shuttle - very glad I did! GWP aren’t the best but will happily sell on the record player.

It’s a not really a relevant quote for customers. You can quote it for orders over the phone so they know the purchase is linked to that catalogue mail out but that’s all.

Finally bought myself 21330. Double points and 2 promos. Record player sold. Happy early Xmas

I'd suspect it would be listed as 'backorder' rather than 'sold out' if an imminent return was likely.

I’ve been watching it like a hawk. Twice in Smyths for a few days of May 4th. I don’t recall seeing it ever being discounted on Lego’s site over here. Finally picked one up with Points just after midnight.

I really wanted that City Gardens set on sale and was poised and ready and still missed out. It's haunting me now that I probably won't be able to get it at all.

Finally bought the Tim Burton and OE Ideas sets today. Reasonably ok deal with 2x VIP and the two GWPs.

But upon checkout I noticed that LEGO has finally implemented the use of VIP points for discounts at checkout. No more need to first get discount codes and then redeem them. Seems to be a very recent thing, at least in Switzerland. Is this also available in other countries, and since when?

I wandered into our local LEGO store this morning, thinking maybe about the A-Frame. The two people in line in front of me got the last two copies. There was no Eldorado. I bought Rivendell. I’m not disappointed!

I noticed the same, big improvement! But I haven't ordered anything from the official store since January so I don't know exactly when the change happened between then and now.

The discount sets that I don't already have didn't interest me so I just put together an order to get the GWP train. I'm finding that it's getting pricey to track down most of the GWP sets I want on the aftermarket so it helps justify just a "normal" order with the double VIP points,
