By in New Zealand,

All pretty normal sets for Friends, but they are great ones nonetheless.

Gravatar
By in New Zealand,

I notice lots of new pieces, such as hats for the animals, and other accessories that are also in the upcoming CMF series.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Ferrets!

Gravatar
By in Canada,

42670 is a fantastic set and a Modder's dream! It will go nicely across the street from my Main Street mashup (which will include design elements from all the Main Street set done by Lego since 1980).

The garage door lock-up for a store is something I have done on a Modular MOC a few years ago and I'm glad to see it done on a official set (with new garade door colours too).

By in Belgium,

Friends keeps on proving itself to be one of the best themes… the amount of new pieces, especially for animals and also how detailed the sets are.
I really hope there will be more Castle/medieval/fantasy minidoll sets in the future!

Gravatar
By in Germany,

Really outstanding day-to-day scenery and play value. So many new animal molds sadly exclusive for Friends and what does City get? Two dozen sets containing vehicles and a spaceship. :(( What is "City" in the themes name standing for again?

Gravatar
By in United States,

They look great! Did I see corgis????

I suppose now I'm going to have to rebuild 41732 for a comparative review....

Gravatar
By in United States,

42655 Seeing the cat on the menu, I just assumed the restaurant was named "The Fat Cat", which is a great name for a Restaurant.
Also, so many food pieces!
Friends is killing it with city sets. Where is City at?

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Price notwithstanding, Friends really does have the best designed sets.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Oh man... there's so much to love about these sets. It'll be hard to fit it all into just one comment.

-Guinea pigs!
-Corgis! Surfing corgis!
-New baby mold! There was already a mold for young children, but this baby fits in strollers and such like regular minifig babies.
-Bedroom sets for Autumn and Paisley, following the four from two years ago. They even match the colors of Autumn and Paisley's complete house sets, which is a great touch. Love Autumn's new ferret, too!
-The sweet shop is SO cute! I love the candy mascot characters, Gigi's colorful hair, and what looks like a new mold for some of the candy—a 1x1x2/3 dome! Been waiting on a part like that for years!
-Eniko the veterinarian has a port wine stain (a vascular skin discoloration), continuing the Friends theme's commitment to diversity. Love the shaggy dog family in that set as well!
-The treehouse has some cool DIY customization features, and I love the little room for the raccoon (complete with a bed, a portrait by Liann, and an accumulating hoard of goodies).
-The cooking school set is so cool! Sara from the water park set returns here (featuring her colostomy bag covered by a non-swimwear outfit). Chef Marta's fish tattoo is cool, I love the new face for Churro the cat, and I love the way the new "yarn ball" piece from the latest CMF series looks in cool yellow for a bowl of noodles!
-The airport set looks great and devotes more space to the airport itself than most previous City or Friends sets. Love the colors too.
-The salon is really cute with lots of different hairstyle options.
-The camper van is also really cute, with sleeping bags, a kitchenette, and a working toilet similar to the one from Ninjago City Markets.
-The Beekeeper's House and Flower Garden set is GORGEOUS! I love how the two pets in the set seem to match their owners (especially the bunny's bushy mustache). The house/shop is gorgeous and I love the beehives and hexagonal flower beds in the garden.
-The Apartments and Stores set looks amazing, with sidewalks that match sets like 41732 and 41742. Love the garage door shutters for the laundromat, and the crank that spins both the washer and dryer and the pottery wheel next door. The painted lady-style houses look gorgeous too.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I have a port wine stain myself, so its a rather numb feeling for me to see it in lego form too.

Gravatar
By in United States,

A little late, 2025 friends was already on the database earlier today.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Another great showing, lots of personality from these sets.
it's interesting that the Botanicals sunflower and CMF plushy were seemingly developed for Friends, appearing in multiple sets and (in the case of the plushies) with multiple prints. Other new elements are the rollerblades which fit Minidolls better than the existing rollerskate, the new Minidoll baby, and an interesting new globe piece that scales between the Barraki eye and the Technic orb, it fits on a stud and resembles the old 9v light cover.

I also love the new prints for held objects: the passports, the flower seed packets, and the photobooth printout (Lego's finally upholding that design rule again!). The Sweets Shop 42649 is a great parts pack with plenty of Guble Bubble and Granola bars, 42655 also has a great selection of food items new and old (including the margarita/sundae glass in a large quantity).

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

New bee tile
Love the micro plane in the logo, the new plane makes you wonder who designs the lego planes, remember 60367

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

42652 is very lovely, but just a couple of years ago, its predecessor 41703 cost only a little more for an extra 400 pieces.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Why are the babies wearing helmets?

Gravatar
By in Germany,

Propeller plane?

Gravatar
By in Puerto Rico,

These Fried sets are in style.

I was wondering what that mark was!
I love the raccoon’s room!

Gravatar
By in United States,

The dumpling piece is great!

I can't stand the way LEGO spelled the fictitious Guble Bubble brand name. The first word appears to be nonsense, but thay would be fine if both words just had a double "b". "Gubble Bubble" would look so much nicer. It's an absolutely inconsequential thing that bothers me, but it does!

Gravatar
By in Canada,

I must say that I like "Heartlake" city better than "Lego City", but too invested in "Lego City" to switch. Still waiting (hoping) for PF "Heartlake Express" train as a way to connect the two.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I'm no expert on OSHA guidelines, but keeping all your food in the roof doesn't seem very sanitary

Gravatar
By in United States,

I've pretty much stopped buying sets that cost more than twenty dollars, but I love the look of 42663. I love the Fifties look of the vehicle, the scenery side-build, and FINALLY! A bicycle mold that can be adapted for use by minidolls or minifigs!

The way it's spelled means it's pronounced "Gooble Bubble" or "Gyooble Bubble", it also bugs me.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

It's nice to see characters from the Systar System still finding work after The Lego Movie 2. I wonder if the ice cream is still voiced by Richard Ayoade...

Gravatar
By in South Korea,

Green and pink in 42670... subtle Wicked reference?

Gravatar
By in United States,

That 42670 Heartlake City Apartments and Stores set looks bonkers cool. And that 42656 Airport and Airplane? Man, that is slick. Very nice.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Nice folding table in the camper van. Nice flush toilet too.
Wait.
Friends put a working flush toilet in a camper van?
Truly, Friends is something else!

Edit: Squishmallows too. Just wrapped up two of those for holiday gifts today.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I totally misread “Sweet Shop” as “Sweat Shop”. I guess those Heartlake City fashions have to come from somewhere.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I may pick up 42669 bee keepers hut for my park layout!

Looks like it, but since they have tails that would make them Cardigan Welsh Corgis. The more common form of Corgi is the Pembroke Welsh Corgi and they don't have tails.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Are there two new hair molds in these sets? I don't recognize the black hair in 42644 or the hair dresser hair in 42662. I'm curious to see them on minifigs.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Friends isn't my thing personally, but these looks like fantastic sets - Friends has just been knocking it out of the park for a few years now.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Well. Just so long as we don’t hitch a trailer to that van and then drive away after using the toilet, we should have a happy camping trip!

Gravatar
By in Sweden,

Ok. I want 42670 Heartlake City Apartments and Stores. I'm curious how it'll look next to other large friends sets such as 41732 and 41704 . Also, are those Squishmallow lego bits?!? My daughter will so be going eeeee! for those. :-)

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

My only issue looking at these is Autumn seems to have the same outfit in each set she appears.

Gravatar
By in Lithuania,

These are the type of sets that used to be "City" but now have pastel colors and branded under "Friends". Nice sets, but I wish , at least some of them, would have been released under City series with more real life colors as they used to be.

Gravatar
By in Austria,

42670 looks beautiful. I wonder how this looks next to modulars.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Happy to finally see LEGO guinea pigs. However... that set includes a round tile representing seeds, and it is NOT safe for guinea pigs to eat seeds.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I like a lot of the friends sets, but I often want two of some because I don't like the open backs. Too much of a modular fan I suppose.

42670 is my favourite, reminds me of San Francisco. I'd reallyike that as an architectural set.

Gravatar
By in Ireland,

Lots of new animals I want and I'll end up collecting those plushies (or teddies as we used to call any stuffed toy).

Gravatar
By in United States,

Ridiculous mini dolls aside, the beekeeper and city block sets both look great. I still regret not getting the theater set for my Muppets

My grandpa on my mother's side saw a bumper sticker he wanted to get for their motor home: "Back off or I'll flush!" Grandma wouldn't let him.

@MVives said:"Happy to finally see LEGO guinea pigs. However... that set includes a round tile representing seeds, and it is NOT safe for guinea pigs to eat seeds."

Really? Their mouths aren't big enough to fit a wide variety of foods into. Do they eat berries?

@Ridgeheart said:"The dog loves Nova, because it is a dog, and it is made of love. It can't help itself, it's in its nature. I cannot blame the dog.

Nova does not love the dog back, because she is a heartless monster, incapable of love. She can't help herself, but she must still be stopped. Just because I understand her predicament doesn't mean I condone it."

@Ridgeheart's version of Nova ends up in Brickset's comment section's version of Fabuland. What happens?

Gravatar
By in Latvia,

42649 - Izzie's hair piece is getting a recolor, and the new color looks to be just as fun as the last one!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Oh my goodness, I don't care for minidolls per say, but I love 42669 Beekeeper's house!

Gravatar
By in Finland,

I don't know what's the problem of the black cat that appears in a few of these sets, but I love him instantly! <3

Gravatar
By in United States,

That airplane is an interesting choice; a v-tail with pusher type engines… That won’t handle well.

Gravatar
By in Germany,

That Resturant Attic is gonna make them inevitably fail health inspection.

Gravatar

The restaurant and beekeeper's house will be modded into my winter village next year for sure.

Often the scale in the builds is quite close to the one needed for minifigs just by pure chance.

Not so much by chance as by design—part of why mini-dolls are similar in scale to minifigs is to allow them to use many types of parts for both themes (such as door frames, stairs, etc.). Usually the main compatibility issues arise where you need to have figures seated, since mini-doll legs are longer in proportion to their bodies and they can sit closer together in vehicles.

Death, destruction, and a big barbecue. Same as usual, really, except—plot twist—first she amputates limbs of living animals and barbecues them while they watch. Leg of Lucy Lamb! Pass the mint jelly!

Then the dismembered animals have to go around on little roll carts or use prostheses until the rest of them becomes dinner too.

Gravatar
By in Germany,

Speaking of inclusion, looks like eating so many sweets and fast-food in Heartlake City payed off. Not only are the cats getting plumper but the mini-dolls too. ;) Spotted new wider hipped legs on several figures. All that remains is some love handles on the torsos too. :))

Gravatar
By in Spain,

The Snot beaded buildings are blooding our wallets

The piece count is increasing to the moon an that means that even maintaining the 10c per piece cost, the price of the sets is being higher every year

Friends is for 10 years old girls but the most part of the 2025 Friends sets are not for them (to many pieces to build, to much money to pay for)

You can get equivalent playsets for barbie at these prices, and the building process is more simple and 6 times bigger toys (1:32 lego scale vs 1:6 Barbie scale)

Oh my gosh, seeing another ferret in 42663. These sets are so incredibly imagined and vibrant. The beekeeper set has beautiful details!! I would have fallen over backwards asking for some of these if I were the target age today. I see why Friends has become such a hugely popular Lego theme! I really like these a lot more than the DreamZzz sets, although I suppose those appeal to the fantasy-surreal fans.

If you want figures with wider hips, you could always add some standard minifigures to your Heartlake City.
