Well, I guess a warrior wearing tank-top armor and a chainmail speedo is better than yesterday’s pick.

They were saving that mystery for the second season, but the show was cancelled after Taco Tuesday.

Forget him, where did the entire army's pants supply go?

Beach Knight :D

Though I guess in the color-coded world of Knights' Kingdom II, this guy is just meant to be wearing all yellow armor...

EDIT:
Or he's just a Conan/He-Man style barbarian...

"Good grief, he's naked!"

If this knight was from Wisconsin or the UP, I'd say he's getting ready for a polar plunge.

Pants aside, this set was a favorite as a kid. Everything you need to stage a castle battle or siege. So much fun.

Red Sonja is the best, although the recent CMF did not do her justice (while still being a great minifig).

By in Canada,

Shouldn't it be "Honey, Where Art Mien Pants..."...and shouldn't it be coming soon to the "Lego History Channel"...:)

By in New Zealand,

The enemy will be scared off when they see this guy rushing towards them.

Full breastplate and helmet paired with bared arms and girded loins is certainly a choice.

I dunno folks, if I was an enemy combatant on the field of medieval battle and I saw a warrior charging me so exposed save for his head, torso, groin, and hands, I'd probably run in the other direction or find another more milquetoast opponent to challenge. No way is a guy dressed like that anything other than the most berserk and ferocious warrior in the entire army.

There have been worse combat outfits, as @Atuin pointed out.

I guess, they were going for the Conan aesthetic.

Battle of the Pass was an amazing set. Too bad it's also a castle set so only certain people can afford getting it now.

I always considered this armor style as meant to be yellow armor. Dracus has pants like this too and his large figure version has black armor over the yellow sections. They didn't do dual moulding or flame yellowish orange minifig parts in 2006 yet (that color did exist already though)

OMG, 8813 was in my lego dark age, but after buying one of them I was lucky to get another! tons of figures and soooo many weapons!! I love all the armor plates!! I would use them to turn town guys into castle ones. even those 4494488: SHELL - MORNING STAR and 4285890: Shell ø 4.85 'no. 3' parts could be used for more castle stuff.
I also considered it yellow armor and never thought they were naked.

By in Netherlands,

Set 8813 contains some of the fugliest Castle minifigs ever, including several speedo soldiers.

Or, he just overslept and didn't have time to pit all of his armor on before the battle started.

Knights Kingdom is the only Castle theme I can happily skip and erase from my memory.

Yikes! I didn't get over here yesterday...

I still think that mold and the Jack Stone could be a good choice for some alien Green Lanterns, or other alien/monster/giant robot in a standard mini-figure line.

Gravatar
By in United States,

He's the Black Knight from Monty Python, but he's made the wise choice not to cover up the parts that are going to get chopped off anyway. Chainmail isn't cheap these days.

I think the constraction version did use Keetorange. It's definitely meant to be yellow armour.

By in Canada,

Owning this set, and really liking these guys for some reason. I had to upgrade them. They either have black legs, or the Keetorange, which matches the colour printed on the shield.

but looking at this particular guy, all I can think of is Blacktron Knight.

"I dunno. Look at his face, look at that confident smirk. This guy knows what he's about, and his confidence fits him like bespoke armoured greaves. I will call this man Main Tank Keith.

His confidence won't protect him from slings and arrows, though. And if Keith shows up as your party's tank, there is a 100% chance of him just standing confidently in the fire while his health plummets to zero. Keith will categorically refuse to use cooldowns in order to mitigate tankbuster-attacks, and the boss you're fighting will continue to mash Keith's confident face into extremely confident soup. Your party is absolutely going to wipe, but Keith's body, the first body to fall, will make for a very, very confident corpse - and isn't that really what the raid was all about?

NO. NO, KEITH. NO, IT REALLY ISN'T. PUT ON SOME PANTS AND GET OUT OF THE FIRE, *KEITH*."

Reading that, I could only think of one thing. "All right chums, let's do this. LEEEROOOOY JENKIIINS!"

By in United States,

Hay! I'm naked under my clothes too!

This guy looks like he got interrupted right in the middle of a strip-axethrow session (hopefully the last thing planned to come off is the codpiece).
