Summary
40764 Easter Bunny Surprise, 217 pieces.
A delightful set that youngsters will love
The set was provided for review by LEGO. All opinions expressed are those of the author.
The bunny sits on a rounded base that measures 14x8 studs. The body does not look very rabbit-like, but that's because of the surprise inside! It does, however, have pointy ears and a fluffy tail.
The curved element used at the front and back is this new 2x8x4 wall piece which is also found in some of this year's Disney sets.
The lagomorph has a ring of daises around its head, consisting of five of the new 2x2 flower heads.
The top lifts off and the body hinges open to reveal two spring dioramas, designed to be easily removed.
One features a rabbit and the other a squirrel, both surrounded by tulips and an egg.
This is a delightful set that youngsters will adore, and also enjoy decorating with the supplied sticker sheet.
The wealth of new and interesting pieces should pique the interest of AFOLs, and you can never have enough squirrels, right?
Overall, then, an appealing GWP that you might not go out of your way to acquire, but if you are spending enough to do so in the next couple of weeks, you will not be disappointed with it.

I do like the two little dioramas, but could have done without that foul, cruel, and oddly square rodent surrounding it.....
Never enough squirrels, I agree!

What?
(Edit: Yes, I know what a lagomorph is)
That's no ordinary rabbit.
"For death awaits you all with nasty, big, pointy teeth!"
In all seriousness, why put squirrel instead of a chicky?
Bunnies aren't just cute like everybody supposes!
They've got them hoppy legs and twitchy little noses!
And what's with all the carrots?
What do they need such good eyesight for anyway?
Bunnies!
Bunnies!
It must be bunnies!
Time to squirrel away those eggs!

Let's switch the Monty Python references up. A moose once bit my sister.
Nice parts pack…Stuff the youngsters. And I learnt a new word today.

"It was a moose.
He swerved to avoid it and hit a tree.
Oh, and the moose is on the road,
by the way, not in the car driving."
Sorry, wrong comedy show...
