By in Austria,

I will be getting the set with Thrawn bc I have literally never seen it anywhere other than Lego . com, as well as the Rebels vs Stormies pack with the pink droid from last year. The rest (necessary to reach the GWP threshold) I'll decide once we know which sets will be available on a discount.

I wonder how many people are spending 1,800 points on a Flying with the Fetts poster.

I know of one ;-)

By in United Kingdom,

All good sets releasing for May 4th but none of them enough to tip me into paying full price. I’ll definitely pick up the logo but happy to wait for price reductions in the future.

I believe a new AT-ST and Ewok models are releasing in August and these sound more appealing. Happy to wait.

Hoping the Onyx Cinder will be double points or discounted and I’ll get something to get me to the GWP

By in United States,

I bought my Venator one year too early. Couldn't even get double points on it last year, and now it's quadruple...
( =_=)

Argh I can't decide whether to spurge this month or not. I've never been so tempted to get a UCS.

By in Hungary,

I usually wait with Star Wars purchases until the next May the 4th. So now I have almost all the sets I like on my current list since last May. I've bought only some reasonably discounted SW sets since.

By in Belgium,

just a question, are LEGO prices increasing in the US due to the tariffs?

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Quadruple points is basically 20% off, right? So not bad for a big set

By in Canada,

I was really looking forward to May the 4th (like putting seven sets in my cart at 1am tomorrow level excited). However, this discontinuation of doing 2x points on ALL sets is very off-putting...hopefully it's just a one-time thing and doesn't become the new norm for LEGO.

By in United States,

I'm so torn on taking the plunge on the Venator! I wouldn't buy it for myself alone, but my partner's son loves the clones and Clone Wars most of anything.

That said, I think I'm getting the UCS Jango's Name-Redacted and then separately buying the ROTS Brickheadz, Rebels/Stormies pack, and buildable droids. That way I get one set of Kamino clones for me, and one for my partner's son!

I don't think anything's been officially announced yet. Hopefully not, but if they are at least it would take fewer sets to hit that $160 GWP threshold... :/

My patience has been rewarded. Patches is good name for a teddy bear, but not an exclusive GWP on a $650 set. ;)

I'm 40 POINTS off getting Micro Ninjago City Gardens, but I've scanned all my instructions already :(
I'll probably have to buy something or borrow someone else's instructions which they haven't scanned. I'll probably buy 10349 when it comes out, and can get it to ship with that order.

Ten years ago I would have insta-bought the Venator Star Destroyer on a 4x VIP weekend. And I was tempted when it was teased. But when I saw the model in some review vids and the way the drive units sag under their own weight… I was kinda relieved that I was able to skip it, considering its price point. ymmv though on what bothers you and what doesn't about such a model.

There's some cool stuff this year (a lot better than last year, imo), but nothing that entices me to spend anything this May 4th. Happy buying to those who are!

By in Canada,

I really want 40765 but because I don't know if LEGO has made enough copies and if there will be enough 75409 available for the foreseeable future, I'll try my luck tonight at midnight. I'd rather wait until tomorrow morning, but I've been burned in the past and I don't want to be this time around.

I can't wait for the site crashing at midnight and me wishing I had just gone to bed instead. How wonderful will it be to fight with the site for an hour and a half-two hours just to have the privilege of spending a few hundred dollars.

Wish me luck.

Looking forward to buying the Star Wars logo set, so that I can put it on the shelf for my popular podcast.

Good luck!
I will take the risk, go to bed and try my luck tomorrow.

I will risk staying up late. Then again, for a Jedi vampire, it's morning that's risky.

By in Austria,

holy moly, the discounts are crap. only 7 sets in Germany and apart from the UCS it's not even worthwhile discounts.

Gravatar
By in Hungary,

Insiders discounts in Hungary (and across Europe?) are:
UCS Venator, UCS Razor Crest, UCS X-wing, AT-TE walker, Midi Tantive IV, Mos Espa diorama, TIE & X-wing mashup.

Gravatar
By in Norway,

WTF happened to the Jango Fett keychain? Just opened the website now(in Norway if that matters) and all mentions of it are gone. Did they sell out already despite it not being available for another 8 minutes? Weird…

Edit: No idea what happened, but the keychain reappeared as the set was made available for order.

They are the same in Norway, so I’m assuming they are the same in the rest of Europe.

By in United States,

Its telling that for 'May the fourth' that the site has not crashed in the US, or had other issues so far (that I have seen) and I doubt LEGO finally fixed their site to handle additional traffic

Are you talking about 75385? I just got it at Wal-mart for $39.95

If you look at my country tag, you'll see that it would be rather difficult, or at least prohibitively expensive, to get it from Walmart ;)

over here, not even Amazon(!) has it, and they usually have everything and give the highest discounts.
