By in United States,

Friends continues to impress in many areas, but I still feel we have regressed a bit to pre 2023 for some sets.

By in New Zealand,

The projector is an interesting concept.

By in Philippines,

The Cat Birthday Party looks cute! It's a good way too to own different breeds of cats in the LEGO universe. :D

By in United Kingdom,

The costume party and comic/game shop are excellent. Particularly classic space girl and grumpy monocle &moustache cat.

By in Sweden,

I was hoping for a super large friends set for myself. I'll take the comic + game shop though! And I know my daughter will love most of these sets. It's almost like she's the target audience! She votes for more of those round stuffed animal bits though. :-)

Two new plushies and a new spaceman helmet color in 42674!

A similair projector actually was included in 8635 .
Still remember building my own Diy Version with the Exo Force Light Brick inspired by it.

By in United States,

For the less eagle-eyed, there's a teal classic space helmet on the first floor of the Comic Book and Game Shop. We should be getting the full teal astronaut in the minifig gachapon machine set eventually.

By in United States,

A combination comic book and game shop would be a great idea for a modular set.

By in Poland,

Best theme next to creator. Sorry but thats truth.
How is that HP gets those awful non existand floors and here we have all nicely plated playspace?

By in United Kingdom,

Unicorn pool party... if only LEGO had done the English football team as CMF like with the German DFB.

I’m hoping to get my hands on the pegasus (pegacorn?) shield from that set. The mould isn’t new - it first appeared in a Zelda set - but the print is. The same mould appears with another print in the forthcoming Creator Medieval Horse Knights Castle.

By in Australia,

... holy hell, one of the Friends kids actually owns a Pegasus.

Gravatar
By in France,

I love the light brick as a projector in Friendship Movie Night.

The costume party has some awesome figs + a unicorn, my daughter would absolutely love that set.

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

That Movie Night set is a cool idea, but it could have been even better if instead of a static picture you could slide a couple of pictures in front of the light brick, to mimic a simple animation.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Miniature horse head decorations on the Pony Ranch & Stable - interesting architectural features

By in United States,

Some of the images aren't zooming in when you click on them, they're leaving the page and going to a larger version of the picture.

I'm not the only one who saw the list of characters in 42648 and thought it said "Qui-Gon Jinn," right? Love the reuse of the movie projector gimmick from 40600 in 42642. And I know I've been saying this about a lot of sets recently, but if I had more space, I'd definitely get 42674, being the geek I am. I mean, it's got a Classic Space minidoll, for crying out loud!

A horizontal picture instead of a vertical picture would be quite an improvement. (Or maybe they're watching videos shot on a phone.)

And WHEN will they ever offer us light bricks with WHITE light?

Gravatar
By in Australia,

Oh those tubby ponies! They completely belong in a Shire set

Love the wisteria over the cafe / garden shop.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Lots of similar to previous.
Small sets are disappointing with the minidoll selection
It's only the large sets that are showing anything new

Gravatar
By in Puerto Rico,

Charming as ever.

Gravatar
By in United States,

42642 is really interesting, because there was also a (non-working) projector in 41740. I guess Aliya and Paisley really enjoy watching movies together.

Gravatar
By in United States,

So... nobody's talking about the new Pegasus shield in 42674?

Gravatar
By in United States,

Megan's sloths are going to have a blast with these sets.

@Lego: Comic book and game shop should be the next corner modular ala Flynn's from Tron.

Gravatar
By in Australia,

I am SO flipping excited about some of these! The pony set is freaking adorable and the cafe/florist set HAS to go with the botanical garden and the beekeeper's cottage sets. And between that costume party set and the comic store set - WOO! way to spice up the minidoll wardrobe! :)

By in United States,

Man, I dropped so many quarters into Micro-fig Fighter II back in the day... And I know a crazy cat lady who's going to go nuts for that cat birthday party.

Gravatar
By in United States,

That is one nice looking SUV/hatchback in 42659

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

Hobby horse heads in black will look great in castle builds as well.

Gravatar
By in United States,

We get a panda sanctuary, but no sloth sanctuary?

No one can fault these sets for lack of imagination! The Cat Birthday Party and the Comic Book Shop are particularly out of the box.

It looks like 42674 is reusing the elf hair piece from 21348.
