Random minifig of the day: cty1199

Today's random minifigure is cty1199 Pilot Rivera, a Town figure that came in one set, 60260 Air Race, released during 2020.
Our members collectively own a total of 945 of them. If you'd like to buy one you should find it for sale at BrickLink, where new ones sell for around $3.50.

Since when did pilots dress like this?
I moused over the set number and thought, "Why isn't this on my wanted list?" Then I realized that two-thirds of the aircraft in it were those ripcord helicopters. Oh well, at least this minifig gets the only decent ride in the set.

Since they get to be named characters I guess, given the other two pilots in the set are dressed more appropriately but categorised more generically

Man this set…
I love the plane and the minifigs, but my kids and I were so disappointed in those helicopters. We eventually made the pull cord part fun by just affixing the rotor blade itself.
But it wasn’t the same, obviously.

Ah, yup. Couldn't get the Bricklink image to load, so I was going by the set photo, and missed the gender-coding.
