Who'd have ever thought that a set was for building?
Why yes, that is indeed a building.

And a set!
Wow, leaning tower of… is that a house? The build is falling apart in the picture… I do like the dog though.
There’s no Building Game nor Building Match. I checked.
Ooooh, special features!
These old sets are pretty likable. Build houses for your train or die-cast car setup. Make a location layout for the infiltration you plan. All pure.

Yes! This wave of sets was the first I ever got, when I was about 5 years old.
That is either a really small house for that girl or a really big kennel for that dog

But this ain't Sea World, this is real as it gets
That build's a BOAT, brother-bricker, don't you ever forget
A little bit more info on those rather hard to distinguish Basic sets would be appreciated.
Disassembling set when?
Classic goodness!
Obviously mostly very basic pieces, but so many cool builds shown on the box. I particularly like the geese on the side of the box. And if you think that house onthe right looks kinda wonky, wait till you see the one on the back.....

Not the top one, that ain’t a boat. That’s a leaning house.

I thought LEGO was meant to glue and display like a statue, those flower sets and icons sets suggest that , and of course the 3-in-1 set you buy 3 times /s
Anyway, I think those older sets have a lot of charm on what could be done with basic bricks and colours. And I hope LEGO will continue making sets like 11030 Lots of Bricks

2-7? Yeah, they do look similar.
That looks like a very old reference to small parts dangers on the box - I'm guessing this is probably not a UK edition set where I recall that at any age we were left to run riot and eat / injure ourselves / get burnt, etc. on any toys!
Set contains just one plate (a blue 4x8). That sounds fairly unique.
