Not for me, to niche and to many spidermen/women.

By in Australia,

Yawn. Not a spiderman fan obviously but even the parts are a non-starter.

Gravatar
By in United States,

No, I'm not looking forward to this. The earlier F1 series and this Spider-series don't interest me.... and neither does the rumored animal costume series coming after this one!

Gravatar
By in United States,

I like miguel's cape and miles' record, but that's about it. My wallet is safe for once. Also, I still haven't seen the movie, so these really don't mean anything to me

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

No idea what I'm looking at so easy skip.
Might grab the foal and the cat

Gravatar

As someone who loves both the Spider-verse films, this set looks really good.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Spider-Gwen's the only one I'm after. Another dud of a series.

By in United States,

I guess I’ll be the first to say that these look awesome? I don’t love all of them and I think some choices were odd, but all the main characters look great! I’ve been wanting Spider-verse Lego ever since I saw the first movie in theatres! Kind of surprised it took this long to get a set, which now exists (still need to get it), and now these figs! I’m so hyped for these!

I would have swapped out Cyborg SW, Sun-spider, and werewolf spidey for Aaron Davis/Prowler and maybe a Peni Parker and SP//DR or Olivia Octavius/Doc Ock, but maybe those two and the other lesser known ones join the team for the next movie, which is good news because it’s taken so long and now it might be heading towards postproduction!

Yeah this looks like a riot! I'm going against the grain here, but this will be a fun series to collect.

By in United States,

I like it. kinda feels like Lego was grasping for ideas with this one but I really like the movies and I'm excited to get some of the more niche characters. Hobie, 2099, and Indian spider-man all look amazing.

Gravatar
By in Sweden,

Looks nice! It's too bad they did it now instead of after the third movie comes out though. There would have been more options and it would have felt more complete.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I assume these were originally due to be released alongside Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse (the release date has moved a number of times, now due for release to June, 2027).

I always look for useful parts and pieces, but I'm struggling to find uses beyond Spider stuff. Though always surprised by what builders come up with.

Sooo...almost all of them have alternative head...

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I like these a lot but there’s no Ben Reilly, Spider-Ham, SP//dr etc. Maybe because they will turn up in other sets.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Absolutely need all of these and I'm so glad they've done them. I guess it only appeals if you've seen the movie though.

Gravatar
By in Albania,

Easy skip. I wish they would alternate between one original series, then one licensed series. We now have had two licensed series in a row, both not that interesting for many of us

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

Well, the cyborg mouth-part / breather looking pretty nice! Is it attached to the shoulder armour?

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Disappointing for me. Imagine if you are a big Spider-Man fan these might be cool, but a little too niche I think…

Gravatar
By in Germany,

Don't know any of these.
To me, Spiderman is Tobey Maguire, period.
Not interested in all these other Spider-people.

To be honest, the only other two Superheroes I am even vaguely interested in are Batman (either the Michael Keaton or the Christian Bale iterations) and Deadpool (for the absurd and dark humour).

Gravatar
By in United States,

Disappointed that Peni isn't in there, but still looking forward to getting these, may just order a complete set from eBay. I love that Pavitr Prabhakar comes with a cup of chai. "'Chai tea?!' 'Chai' means 'tea', bro! You're saying 'tea tea!' Would I ask you for a coffee-coffee with room for cream-cream?!"

@bogdanst said:"Sooo...almost all of them have alternative head..."

Same was true of the D&D series.

This isn't the first Spider-verse set we've gotten, that would be 76311. Once again, somebody ignores the Spot.

By in United States,

Man, I'm surprised to read so many negative comments on here! They aren't all "must-buys" for me, but I rarely complete a set of CMFs anyways. The figures are really well-designed and reflect a love for the source material.

My personal favorites are Hobie Brown / Spider-Punk, Pavitr Prabhakar / Spider-Man India, and Gwen Stacy / Spider-Gwen.

My only complaint is that I really wish they would have included some characters from the first film in the series as well--like Peni Parker, Spider-Noir, or Spider-Ham (I'm aware that 2 of those characters have been included in sets before--but those designs weren't based on their film appearances).

I highly recommend the Spiderverse films, if you've never seen them. I'm very much a casual Marvel fan, but I was super impressed with the storytelling and the animation in these films!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Haven't seen the Spider-Verse films, so I'm not planning on getting any of these. Not that it matters anyway, cause I stopped buying CMF's when they went to the boxes. :'(

There are some very interesting-looking figures here, though.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Hm... I'm not usually a big collector of licensed themes, but I DID really like this movie (directed by the fantastic duo behind The Lego Movie and with stellar animation), so I could see picking up at least a few of these. The depictions of the characters are superb (including both "masked" and "unmasked" versions of most main characters and some cool accessories as well).

In a lot of sets already.

Gravatar
By in United States,

The minifigs look fantastically detailed, but they don't really interest me. I only watched the first, and while I thoroughly enjoyed it and plan to see the sequels, it won't sway me to spend very much. I'm mostly considering picking up figures for their parts. I might grab Prowler and Web Slinger for their more versatile parts(Prowler for specific mics). I also really like Spiderbyte's head, but I'm not sure it's worth the purchase. I might be saving a lot of money on CMFs with these recent and upcoming series. I do really appreciate the trans orange stands though.

@myth said:

I was in favor of doing only one numbered series per year, and the other two IP-based, when they briefly managed to sync up the numbers with the years. Because they didn't start out doing licensed CMFs, they crammed a lot of numbered series into the first few years. From 2016to 2022, they released Series 16 to Series 22, but then they screwed that all up by slipping S23 into the 2022 lineup, and now they're two numbers ahead of the year.

@TheOtherMike:
D&D had 12 minifigs with five that came with alternate heads. This also appears to have only five. Miles, Gwen, Hobie, Pavitr, and 2099 all clearly show a different color head in the twin shots vs the full group. Of the remaining seven, five don't have an alternate identity shown, and the last two (Miles G. and Margo) likely only require a simple headgear swap. There's probably a practical limit for how many extra heads they can include, since each one will still take up an element slot, and each one will also likely require custom printing. At some point, extra heads will start to impact how many accessories they can include, and might even reduce the number of new molds they can tool up.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Honestly surprised by the number of folks with MEH reactions to these - and here I thought the SPIDER-VERSE films were more or less universally beloved! Hell, I thought *I* was the outlier for not having seen the second movie yet...

Overall I would have enjoyed some villains in the mix, but I think these look nice! And surely many of these characters are unlikely to be featured in sets anytime soon.

Gravatar

Any tips on where to order a complete box of these in the UK?

It looks like for the most part they’ve stuck to members of the Spider Society for this wave, with Miles G being the only outlier.

In fact part of me suspects the set we got was because they had designed minis for Jefferson and Spot but they no longer fit in the CMF theme so had to go somewhere

Gravatar
By in United States,

Miles, Gwen and Miguel are good. The rest are fairly odd choices. It's also a very odd choice for a whole CMF wave. They would have been better served by focusing on the Spider-verse as a whole rather than a single movie that came out 2 years ago. Many of the better choices have used before, Spider-Ham and Noir Spider-Man, and need some type of update or redo to work in a CMF wave.

Gravatar
By in Ireland,

I am getting the Daily Bugle this month, so I have somewhere to put these minifigs!

Gravatar
By in Puerto Rico,

2099? Wow, haven't heard of that comic line in a long time.

Gravatar
By in Hungary,

The cowboy might be useful for a Western character. The others are not even meh.

Gravatar
By in Belgium,

Too niche. Low in creativity.

Gravatar
By in Germany,

I really like some of them, I will probably get 2-3.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I love everytthing that Phil Lord and Christopher Miller do and am cautiously excited about their version of one of my favorite books of all time, Project Hail Mary. But oddly enough, I haven't gotten around to the Spiderverse films yet and thus, these CMF do nothing for me.

I still wonder how much of Solo was them and how much was Ron Howard because I really, really enjoyed that Star Wars film.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Will get a couple, but really don't need many Spider-Man or adjacent minifigs with the ones already got from other sets

Gravatar
By in United States,

Probably a skip for me. While they look good and fun, I like getting more of the uncommon villains so that the heroes I already have too many of have someone to capture. A lot more Spidermen doesn't solve this.
The Batman Movie collection was easily a win for me, with all the extra villains. Typically for all the sets the villains outnumbered the heroes, which is perfect for my dioramas.

I think the Olivia Oct is already available in another set, so maybe that's why it's not here? I could be wrong though. I also strongly agree. This set looks fantastic to me. I just have to decide if I want to purchase the entire set at once or hunt them down 1 at a time. I want almost all of them, but part of the fun is hunting them down, even I do feel a little silly using my phone scanner in a store.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I admire the designs but won't be buying, mostly because (surprise!) most things are so clearly Spider-themed that they can't be used in non-Spider MOCs. Glad TLG are making them; not everything has to appeal to me to be worthwhile in general!

Gravatar
By in United States,

That's kind of my thought aswell. I could try to pay a little more for a completed set, or maybe try my luck with a 6 pack then hunt down the rest I want individually to lessen the pain. Feels kind of weird as a grown man scanning boxes with my phone.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Boring.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Some neat versions, but I have only watched the one Spiderverse movie and I don't really remember much about it. But I'll most likely just pick up the series like I always do just because.

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

Shouldn't Werewolf be called Spider-Wolf? Or Were-Spider? Wolf-Spider?

Gotta love Spider-Punk, though! They're all fun looking characters, but I don't know if I need that many Spider-Men and -Women in my life. Had they done a Spider-Knight, though... Different story.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Hm... a little mixed feelings. I was excited to hear about this series when it was rumoured because I really like the Spider-Verse movies, but I feel like the end result isn't quite what I was hoping for? I guess most of all I was anticipating seeing Peni Parker in this series particularly, since she's the only Spider-person from the first movie who hasn't been in a Lego set already (and also was probably my favourite of that movie); although I understand that these are more focused on Across rather than Into, so I guess her being in all of two shots of that movie don't really cut it.

Plus, I guess it would be odd to just include her as a minifigure on her own without Sp//dr. I'd like to suggest that this means they might at least get an entry into the mechs series, as the rare example where her mech would even be canon, but I won't hold my breath for it...!

Still, they ARE neat ^^ I'd like to get Gwen especially, even more so because her new hairpiece looks cool. Miles, Hobie and Pavitr are maybes, but I do like them and it would be nice to have the whole team from the Mumbattan scene; we'll see. That said, I do feel like Hobie's a little lacking something without his very unique animation style, since it always makes him stand out so distinctly from the other characters whereas here he just kinda blends in... but I'm also not sure how that could have been represented in plastic form.

So, yeah. Still neat though, even if not quite all the choices I was hoping to see ^^

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

With the D&D set and series 27 I bought multiple boxes, but with this I'll just order one complete set from some site for €50 and be done with it. Even with the Space set I bought many minifigs via the secondary market. These don't invite to own multiples of... No interesting remixes imho.

Gravatar
By in France,

Between these and F1, I will remember of 2025 as a disappointing year CMF wise.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Damn. I've been sitting on a Spiderman 2099 minifig for the last two years, waiting until the time was right to sell it, and just when I decide it is time, they reveal an updated version! It is also the exact same case with my Aayla Secura minifig, with an updated version of that character now available too. I guess I just waited too long.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Really amazing series, I feel like some of these could have been swapped for some more notable characters rather than a Spider-Man/woman variant we see in the background. I also don't rememver Werewolf spiderman being in the 2nd movie but it's been a while since I've watched it. Will be picking a few of these up for sure though.

Gravatar

I have never been more excited for a CMF wave, and I have collected them since Series 1. I guess that's the beauty of it, all sorts of different people sharing the same hobby.

Gravatar
By in Poland,

That's one of the series that I advocated for in all my CMF LEGO Surveys. There are still some important omissions here, but I hope some future sets will fix them.
Now my crusade will focus on League of Legends: Arcane and Baldur's Gate 3 (or, Dungeons&Dragons Series 2).

Gravatar
By in Canada,

This is easily one of the most boring and pointless CMF lines I've seen. I think Marvel fans would probably buy twelve of the exact same Spider-Man figures if LEGO branded them as being from the clone saga and the UPC for each of them was different.

I really wish LEGO would do a series based on the gods and goddesses of various mythologies, like German and Norse mythology. I'd be more excited for a single Woden / Odin, Freya or Thor (actual Thor, not the lame Marvel rip-off version) than this and the last line combined, honestly.

Yeah, Peni would probably make the most sense in a full set with a brick-built SP/DR. You could probably make a case for the same with Prowler (Aaron Davis), who would be fine on his own but would be ESPECIALLY cool in a set with his motorcycle. I'm hoping we see more Spider-Verse sets (including ones based on both the first and second movies and, eventually, the third) before long.

That said, I do feel like Hobie's a little lacking something without his very unique animation style, since it always makes him stand out so distinctly from the other characters whereas here he just kinda blends in... but I'm also not sure how that could have been represented in plastic form.

So, yeah. Still neat though, even if not quite all the choices I was hoping to see ^^"

Yeah, Peni would probably make the most sense in a full set with a brick-built SP/DR. You could probably make a case for the same with Prowler (Aaron Davis), who would be fine on his own but would be ESPECIALLY cool in a set with his motorcycle. I'm hoping we see more Spider-Verse sets (including ones based on both the first and second movies and, eventually, the third) before long."

It always amazed me that Lego didn't do a set WITH A MECH for Sp//dr - all these mech sets and we don't get one from an incredibly popular film. Same with the Prowler's motorcycle - set after set of weird cycle things and not one that actually was in a film.

Surprised at all of the negative comments here. I think this is a near-perfect series; one of my favorites in quite awhile! I've surprisingly never collected a full series before, but this might just be the first time I do.

My guess is it's because it's based specifically on the second movie, where none of them appear except for in a teaser at the very end, and they're already planning to do sets (and possibly another CMF series?) for the third movie where they'll appear more prominently.

Great series for hardcore Spiderman fans. And pretty good for Marvel fans. Glad to see a Spiderman 2099 that is easy to get again.

Overall I would have enjoyed some villains in the mix, but I think these look nice! And surely many of these characters are unlikely to be featured in sets anytime soon."

I really like the Spider-Verse movies, and am very much looking forward to the third in the series. I was bummed to learn that it was delayed. That said, this CMF is... okay. I like Miles, on most days I'm okay with Peter, but that's not to say I need everyone who can do everything a spider can in ABS-format.

Except Spider-Punk, obviously. Hobie is the man, even if this Hobie did not grow up to be the Prowler.

@WokePope:
I haven't cared about the OG Spiderman since his show ended in the early 80's. I did, however, collect all/most of the original run of 2099 titles, and I recall that Spiderman 2099 was by far the most popular of those characters. He was like the Spiderman for grown-ups. I think he's also the only character in this mix besides Miles Morales and Gwen Stacy who's been produced before.

@LusiferSam:
And that gets to the other nine, who are exactly the type of characters they'd want to shovel into a CMF series. For a licensed theme drawing from a large cast, they'll want to have a few heavy hitters to help draw people in, but they're going to pad out the roster with characters who simply wouldn't warrant inclusion in a regular set. For DCS, they did variant costumes of Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, and Joker, but then threw in characters like Metamorpho, Mr. Miracle, Stargirl, less popular versions of the Flash and Green Lantern, and so on. Seven of the characters have never appeared in any other sets, and one has only appeared in minidoll form.

@markisnot:
TLBM definitely had a problem of abundance, with there simply being far too many villains to cram into the many, many, many retail sets they produced. Two CMF waves solved that issue fairly well, except for the fact that barely any Phantom Zone villains saw the light of day (and even then, mostly outside of the TLBM theme). The last time I did a full count, about half of my unique Batman-related minifigs came from that movie alone, though I did make a point of figbashing Arkham inmate versions of every villain except Clayface and Croc, plus any of the many batsuits that were feasible.

@PlayfulBucket050:
10783? I knew I'd seen a female version pop up at some point, but she's harder to search for than I expected.

@dylan_odds:
I recently finally bought the first 2099 version, but the limbs are really stiff, and I'm concerned that it could end up turning brittle. So, I own it, but I'm never going to use it for anything now. I'll definitely pick up a few of this version, so I have some freedom to play around. I figured out how to put a witch straddling a broomstick, so maybe I'll figure out a way to have this guy clinging to the side of a building.

@LotRBrickfan196:
One thing that's going to drive these rosters is gender equity. Based on the names, it looks like this wave is split 7:6, with five minifigs and one baby that are female. That may have forced them to dig a little deeper for the female side than they did for the males, but the numbered series have been split pretty close to 50:50 for several years now, with only stuff like the inclusion of baby astronauts tending to throw things off. Loony Tunes and Muppets were rare exceptions in the past few years where they simply did not have enough female characters to get anywhere near even parity.

@8BrickMario:
The S1 Robot's robot arm last appeared in 2022, with 71032-1. Before that it was 2019, with two versions of TLM2 Benny. And before that, you have to go back to 2012's 8833-1, or maybe 850458 (can't find the exact release date for the latter). The Snyderverse Cyborg used a different robot arm that was shorter and skinnier, and has only ever appeared in 76087.

Still got S28 (animals) to get through, and after that I haven't heard any rumors of the other two 2026 waves. I did actually just pick up a complete set of the F1 boxes, on top of the F1 Academy one I got just to see what the parts were like. But I'd been thinking about buying them to convert into go-karts for a while, and I found a Kroger that was clearancing them for $3.49.

Don't know which part of Germany you live in, but over here (around Frankfurt) the last three or four CMF series including the F1 cars are all readily available in many stores, even non-toy stores like Rossmann, where you get 10% off on all purchases when using their app.
And ever since you can scan the QR code on the box and don't have to worry about getting the correct figures, completing a CMF series has never been easier.

I love the SpiderVerse movies and want ALL of these. I’m disappointed at the inclusion of some really obscure ones instead of Peni Parker or Spider Man Noir, but the Peter B Parker, Spider-Gwen, and Miles minifigs are ones I may need duplicates of…to keep on my desk, rather than with the rest of the Lego in the basement.

By in Japan,

Although some of the choices and executions are a bit random, i think overall these are awesome...really good that Lego kept their finger on the pulse on the Spider-Verse movies here and delivered pretty good (unlike Avengers Endgame sets coming out how long after that MCU chapter ended!?!). As a lifelong Spider-Man fan and huge Spider-Verse fan (both comics and movies) this is a no-brainer. Wallet took a bit of a bashing with the One Piece sets and other sets i bought yesterday but at least i have time to save up a bit for these!

(Still....really gutted they didn't include Silk!!)

I’m so hyped for these!

I would have swapped out Cyborg SW, Sun-spider, and werewolf spidey for Aaron Davis/Prowler and maybe a Peni Parker and SP//DR or Olivia Octavius/Doc Ock, but maybe those two and the other lesser known ones join the team for the next movie, which is good news because it’s taken so long and now it might be heading towards postproduction!"

Yes! A Doc Ock would be perfection

Surprised theres so much none interest in this series given some of the unique parts like the heir pieces and other accessories. I know Spiderman isn't everyones cup of tea, but I do think we can all agree this is 100% better then the none starter of the F1 'minifigures'.

Personally I'll be getting the full set of them. Even if they have missed a massive opportunity with the series....

They’ve been out since January, so most of the high demand has been sated by now. Scalpers have probably moved on to other items, and even finding S27 is challenging in the US, outside of Bricks & Minifigs stock that’s likely been picked over. I did find a few on clearance at Walmart, and they still had three Beastmasters, but mostly of the time I’d find a case that was short three boxes, and none would scan as that minifig. Bricklink prices are also averaging double MSRP, which shows it’s a popular minifig this early after release.

I kind of think that at his size, he'd just have to be brick-built. He'd be his own shadowbox-version.

https://www.imageworks.com/sites/default/files/inline-images/spi_intospiderverse_website_content_018.jpg

On the other hand, he's basically a big, neckless rectangle. If TLG were to decide to give him an entirely new bigfig-mould, that mould could then be reused to cast Strong Mad for any future Homestar Runner-sets.
