LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy - Pieces of the Past trailer released!
Posted by TheBrickPal,LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy debuted on Disney+ to a positive reception last September. A second season arrives on September 19th, announced at Star Wars Celebration in April.
Now, following the release of 75414 The Force Burner Snowspeeder earlier this month, a trailer has finally been unveiled today, which you can watch after the break.
The storyline this time around looks very interesting, as Sig Greebling, his brother Dev, and their friends battle the evil Solitus. Many wacky characters also feature, including the giant 75371 Chewbacca, the BrickHeadz 40539 Ahsoka Tano, and the relatively obscure Jaxxon, voiced by Ben Schwartz!
More details are available on the Star Wars website.

Rebuild the Galaxy was a lot better than it had any right to be, so consider me intrigued.
I wonder if Ben Schwartz is disappointed at breaking his streak of voicing blue animated characters.
Oh wow, we absolutely butchered Solitus' name
Also Ben Schwartz as Jaxxon is a surprise to be sure, but a welcome one!
Please give us a Jaxxon minifig!!!!!
And another Queen Amidala if Lego is accepting requests.
Hopefully we get that Revan figure released in a new set, it'd be nice. Same with Jedi Palpatine.
I enjoyed the first season of RtG so I’m looking forward to the second
I am much looking forward to this. It's cool that we're getting Jaxxon, too.
Can't wait to watch this new season!
And I would love a Jaxxon minifig...

He already has before, with another Star Wars character: https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/TAY-0
Also, fun fact: he helped provide the voice, with Bill Hader, for BB-8 in The Force Awakens! He played a Stormtrooper in the film, too.

I dunno, there’s at least a little blue in there somewhere…
I can't wait!
nice. hopefully there'll be some more sets in the winter.
I was not as impressed with Rebuild the Galaxy as others. I guess it's because it basically killed the continuity from before even though there were no references to any of those characters like the Freemakers or Jek-14, but this is basically LEGO Star Wars now; just a big mashup of everything.
I will say that Pieces of the Past does have me intrigued though, and since we've gotten through all of the growing pains of setting up the world, now we can just let the characters play. Also, Solitus wanting to put everything back is interesting to me because he's doing what I want to do with the LEGO Star Wars continuity, but they already established that can't be done, so now I'm curious to see just how he's doing what he's doing, and if it's even remotely possible.
Rebuild The Galaxy more like rebuild this theme into affordable sets he he ha ha big funny please clap
Yes! The Landolorian returns! And I love the end of the trailer. "You probably haven't heard of me because I'm a real deep cut." Who knew that when the galaxy got rebuilt, the fourth wall took damage?

I really really really hate Landolorian.
will we see the minifig return of Episode 1 Padme? and that amazing dress piece?
Alright, maybe there will be a set that we can get Kal Kestis besides that Star Destroyer.
The design premise for most of RtG is that existing ships and characters are remixed, recolored, or their moral alignment flipped (to use DnD terms). IMHO this is disappointing, but I suspect it's an inherent limitation for the production designers -- if they showed something entirely novel, then given the breadth of the Star Wars milieu, viewers would potentially be confused. "I don't recognize those components. Is it new to the successor galaxy, or something obscure from the predecessor galaxy?" The latter would afford the opportunity to include things never seen in LEGO form, e.g., the Kenner mini-vehicles of 1983 or Prince Xizor's Virago or new (inherently customizable) Corellian light freighters.
I say "most" because the core cast (Sig Greebling, Jedi Bob, etc.) is new, and the 75414 Force Burner Snowspeeder is a more dramatic departure than the 75389 Dark Falcon which is largely a recolored 75104 .
