Technic, we're not back, but it's tangential. Although there are some Bohrok eyes for the headlights, so maybe.
always a huge fan of Technic motorcycles- especially ones that arent branded!!
I do like Lego fictional manufacturers
Nice colours.
It's a good looking bike with a decent B model, too. As often the case, B model may require some touch, but I think it's a worthy build.
Looks like it has a STAPH infection. That is, STickers Across PotHoles.
I own most of the technic bikes and well, this was a case where I feel the designer tried his best but the parts budget was clearly spread too thin for a bike of this scale. Unfortunately it can’t really hold a candle to the other bikes that came before or after it like the motorbike from 2010 and Ducati from 2020 due to the numerous cut corners and missing features such as the lack of front/rear fenders, side mirrors, or any suggestion of a radiator. In short, it should’ve been released as a $50-60 set where the extra parts would’ve gone a long way in the list of potential improvements. The main color combination of medium blue and red doesn’t really work either imo and swapping it all to red improves the look significantly and almost turns it into an unbranded Ducati. On the positive side, it is an excellent modding base where adding a few key missing details goes a long way to improving the overall aesthetic.
Wait, you can have NON-licensed Technic motorcycles? Would anyone buy this?
Still have mine. A LOT of downgrades from the previous 8051 . The chain is on the OUTSIDE (?) of the swingarm.... Anyone would lose their foot in this. Also, no radiador, no mirror, no brakes/clutch, almost no footpegs, no front mudguard (as usual), tires with the grooves on reverse because LEGO doesnt know how to properly put tires on motorcycles. It was a let down for me
I like the shaping and the functionality. Not so much the colors.

Well, you know, it took a while for Lego to see the light.

I like the colors.
Underrated. ...the comments too, wow. Hardest part for this one was probably 8051 coming just before it. I have nearly all the bikes in this scale. It's a solid entry. I understand the "let down" though.
