NINJAGO minifigures coming soon to Build-a-Minifigure!

Posted by ,

As you are probably aware, NINJAGO will reach its 15th anniversary in 2026 and apart from the celebratory sets announced thus far, a selection of unique minifigures will be available via Build-a-Minifigure bars from January 1st!

These include young versions of Arin, Sora and Lloyd, as well as Mystake's Oni form and Nya dressed in her blue kimono from March of the Oni. There are new P.I.X.A.L. and Dareth minifigures as well.

Furthermore, we have been given a festive NINJAGO poster to share, so you can find that in high resolution after the break.

Ah, there official! I saw these leaked a little while ago. I love the idea, I wish TLG did more special things for BaM, and I’m all for this despite caring little for Ninjago. Hope this continues, and I’ll be getting some of these parts!

If your store has Minifig Factory, it might be easier than you think. My store has the traditional square bin stack, with two tiers of four corner bins each, which gets standard assortment stuff. Then there’s a cylindrical stack, which has 4-6 tiers and I think 6 bins per tier. For over a year now, they’ve been putting the special assortment parts in the top tier of the cylindrical stack, which used to be reserved for only Minifig Factory parts (basically the same stuff as the regular assortment, but no torsos because they’re going to print one with your design). This makes finding the holiday assortments so much easier than having to dig through _every_ bin to find that one last element. I think it might also help them burn through the holiday stuff faster, since people know exactly where to find it all. And once the next batch comes in, it all gets shifted into the regular bins to make room for new stuff.

By in United States,

This is actually a pretty good selection here! I may try and pick up Dareth, Nya's torso, possibly Pixal, and a few other parts. Mystake's torso might be good for a stand in Garmadon when I pick up the display. I also might pick up Lloyd's legs so I can swap if I want to. Overall, this is definitely better than the last selection.
Also, who knew that silver parts still existed with Ninjago..?

Anything on BAM should be on PAB, there are so many people who don't live in range of one, and so many people scalping things like the spacemen torsos, make them accessible to anyone, even at an inflated cost or limited purchases per account/address

I'd like to just, you know, buy them. I hate chase products.

Hm... Build-a-Minifigure is that 3-minifigs-for-$10 thing in LEGO Stores, right? I've always wanted a Grand Sensei Dareth minifig, so might make a trip over to my nearest store for that. Lloyd's a maybe; he has the wrong mask, and probably the wrong face, too, but I'll have to wait and see, I guess. The rest I'm not really interested in.

I don't recall Nya ever wearing that outfit; if it is indeed from March of the Oni (Season 10), then she has the wrong hairpiece.

I should be more appreciative of my good fortune in where I live. Excluding Legoland, Discovery Centre and airport stores, there are at least 15 LEGO stores that are reachable by public transport within four hours. That includes ones requiring a flight. I’ve been to six of them.

By in Sweden,

The torso of the girl with the pink hair has some serious sci-fi vibes. I expect that'll be popular.

I'll probably pick up Nya (even if the leg color matching isn't great) and Mystake and Dareth. I only have one Dareth and none Mystakes. Maybe only two or three Nyas.

This is sweet. I just hope all the pieces are available. It never fails, every time there's a specific minifig to build, the bin always seems to be missing a part of the figure (legs, torso, etc.)

But then it defeats the whole purpose of BAM. I get it, and I’m very fortunate to have a store close. I wouldn’t mind if there was a new pallet available as a GWP type thing, though.

@MandoEli37: Hey, yours is four, mine is five; if you take TC1 West to 'Van City'....SEVEN if you go East to 'Cow Town' (Home to Canada's first Lego Store), roughly NINE N.E. to 'Edmonchuck' (Home of Canada's FLAGSHIP Lego Store at W.E.M.)...Kinda' SUCKS, even if ya' fly instead...:|

Also, of ALL of them: P.I.X.A.L., Dareth, and Nya would be the 'musts' in my collection.:)

I'm happy for the Ninjago fans, but as a non-fan I would say "a full range of Ninjago/dreamzzz again?!! Come on!"
I'd like a full range of pirates :)

I don't know the name but I'm guessing that black minifig will be hard to find after a week...

By in France,

Those releases are fun.

On paper.

The BaM station at Paris les Halles is always lacking multiple (2 or 3) of each category (hat/hair, head, torso, leg, accessory). While it's fun to dig in the bins for a few minutes, finding the one single Mrs. Claus torso in the station last time I went was really excruciating (see https://jaysbrickblog.com/reviews/review-lego-build-a-minifigure-bam-october-november-2025-christmas/ ). I hope you all are more lucky than we are at the Paris store!

They did once add a batch of BAM figs to PAB, I wish they kept that going.

@Walace the lego stores stock of PAB and BAM is random at best.
I'm not gonna travel to a store to find out the figs I want are gone, yes that happend on my second visit.
BAM figs are still cheaper than PAB so it's still good deal for those going to the store

One of my stores does have the Minifig Factory. Fortunately they do allow us to pick parts out of the factory tower unlike the two Disney locations. They are also good at checking in the back if you can't find a specific part. Last time I was there I was able to get the special guitar for the Dia de los Muertos fig that I wasn't able to get in another store. They didn't have the candy cane for the Christmas figs. Forgot to ask if they had any of the black cat. I have zero interest in the Ninjago figs so will be looking for other interesting parts instead.

By in United Kingdom,

I don't really see this as a good thing if it means they knock out more generic parts from the BAM. They also don't look like characters with mix and match parts, so the BAM format isn't really suitable.

@karrit:
Our one local store was either first or second in the US to get Minifig Factory (we beat Mall of America because their store wasn’t wired for outlets to the middle of the sales floor, but the first printer our store got was defective and they had to wait for a replacement). They briefly tried enforcing the BAM/MF segregation, but quickly gave up. The BAM station was smaller and at times had trouble handling traffic because it’s such a pain to search through eight huge bins to find one specific part when it’s running low. And the MF customers were shopping from both anyways, even though they should have had more variety available most of the time (except torsos, which they weren’t supposed to take). I don’t know if someone local had the genius idea of converting the top MF tier to the holiday assortment, or if that got passed down from corporate, but it makes life _SOOOOOOO_ much easier if those parts are the only thing you’re looking for. I was able to drop in for maybe five minutes an get five BAM boxes full of the Christmas assortment for myself and two other LUG members because I only had to deal with five bins that contained nothing except the parts I was looking for. In the past, it had gotten so bad at times that I’d have to ask someone to check the stockroom for one element, while I continued to dig through the much larger BAM bins looking for what might be the last copy in the store.

My Lego store is 15 minutes away. Sometimes my coffee gets cold!

(wafting in background "Don't cry for me, Argentina, the truth is I never left you, through all my wild days...")

[Ironically, it's Lego's Bricklink that is leaving Argentina! :(]

WHat do you mean? Every 2-3 months BAM gets many rare or simply unique pieces.

They do, but I meant specific waves dedicated to something, just like this Ninjago one. That doesn’t happen often. But yes, each Quarter has something new, and I am glad of that.

And that's on a good day! Those mountain passes gets unpredictable now for the next 5 months. Drive safe. We're now roughly between WEM/Southgate (Edmonton) and Chinook (Calgary) now.
