Two to beam up. Don't hesitate to leave them in the buffer.

This police wave carries quite a bit of nostalgia. Kinda funny. I also feel like a variation of this set come out every 3-4 years, the ATV chase just gets used so much. And the price? Haha, that feels $5 too much, and that was 2014!

I'd forgotten about that ball-and-chain piece. Probably because I never got my hands on any.

That was such a great part from this wave of police sets. One that I wish was still made.

I have a couple. Need to find a good use for them at some point.

Great piece, stole them from my one of my brothers 4+ sets, lol.

By in New Zealand,

The truck build is so realistic.

By in Jordan,

I would have preferred if 60479 looked like this set instead of looking like an off-roader.

By in Germany,

What's up with that red crowbar sticking out from the car?

Looks like it has a life of it's own.

It's checking that the coast is clear, so it can make its own escape while the officer is busy dealing with the convicts.

By in Netherlands,

I klike the trapdoor hatch on the roof. Trapdoors are cool, hatches on cool, and those used on a vehicle is extra cool! I believe the bars on the sides could also be pulled out, so this is quite a playable prison transport! Perhaps the most playable ever at this scale :)

By in Latvia,

The obligatory 'Hey, I have this one'. I liked this truck for its realism, even though it is completely an American design.

I can see why the cop is smiling; one crook is still hobbling along with a ball and chain manacled to him and the other’s got his getaway vehicle tangled up in a van he absolutely will not be able to drag along. Neither of them are going anywhere fast

I got all excited the first time I saw this part, and then it turned out to just be a short chain with a voodoo ball attached. And then they brought it back, but for real this time!

2014 is still the best City police wave for me, certainly one of the most consistent and extensive.

By in Australia,

A few simple modifications made this a real nice cash transport vehicle.

"Fellas! Gee, fellas! I don't think this is how you're supposed to steal a van, we don't usually see people attempting to tow via quads and... say, is that an anchor, fella?"

"Leave us alone, Officer Tracyface. We're just trying to innovate here. Let us try something new. Look at Gary, he NEEDS this."

He won't need to tow the whole van. @Brickalili said they thought that the bars on the sides could be pulled out, so I checked the instructions, and sure enough, all that guy has to give it enough gas, and he's left the van unsuitable for transporting prisoners. He's also left the local PD with what is probably a sizable repair bill.

Damn, you’re right, there are some glaring safety and security issues with this van. Almost like the person who designed it wanted people to escape…

It’s clearly the prisoner being transported.
