Hey, I have this guy! One of my favorites from Series 13. Love his head print and mask.
Where are the posts and wire?

This isn't Olympic-level fencing. This is collegiate-level beginner's fencing. Things don't move so fast you can't keep up with them visually.
Hello. My name is Lego Montoya. You stepped on my father. Prepare to disassemble.

I just rewatched that movie this morning. RIP Rob Reiner.

I'm currently watching Montoya explain his background as I type this. Dread Pirate Edition, because I have a perfectly normal amount of copies of the film:
2000 DVD (sealed)
2001 Special Edition DVD
2006 Dread Pirate Edition DVD (one open, one sealed)
2006 Buttercup Edition DVD (sealed)
2007 20th Anniversary Edition DVD
2012 DVD (sealed)
2012 BD (sealed)
2012 DVD w/ MGM 90th cover card (sealed)
2017 30th Anniversary Edition BD (sealed)
2017 30th Anniversary Edition DVD (sealed)
As far as I know, I'm only missing the VHS for Region 1. One of these days I need to pop open the two Blu-Rays, which included new bonus features I haven't seen.

En garde!
Gah! Apparently I'm missing a _lot_ of versions:
1988 VHS
1988 Laserdisc
1994 VHS
Video CD
1989 Criterion Laserdisc
1997 Criterion Laserdisc
1998 VHS
1998 DVD (possibly the same as the 2000 DVD)
1999 Special Edition DVD (possibly the same as the 2001 DVD)
2009 BD
2018 Criterion DVD
2018 Criterion BD
2023 4K/BD Combo Pack
I have this CMF. He's good, but unfortunately useless unless you have 2.

See I’d assumed Max was making a joke about not having the materials to put up fences, but you seem to have gone on an entirely different route

You're using Bonetti's Defense against me?
They need to reuse the face design. Or at least, if exclusivity is so important, broadly release a similar.
I'm on the fence about this one.

I thought it fitting, considering the rocky terrain.
Never seen that movie, but I see that Wallace Shawn apparently has a role in it, and since I like him I might give the film a go one day. Otoh it's not the kind of movie I'm interested in, so maybe not after all.
Also the fig looks quite plain to me. Sure, there's not much they can do in terms of decoration for a fencer anyway, but still. Compared to some of the CMF gems we got over the years, this is not one I would be after.

Hmm, I thought it referred to the electronic scoring system used to register hits in top level competition. There are wires that connect to the conductive parts of the outfit, and posts could have been used to mark the boundaries of the piste.

Unless the enemy has studied his Agrippa. Which I have!
This will always be my Holodeck Jean Luc Picard.

I admit it, you are better than I am.

Great movie, you should give it a shot.

That’s inconceivable!
Can always take on minifig sc020 from 2 days ago, or any others in the Harry Potter Dueling Club 76441

If you’re worried that it’s a kissing movie, they skip those parts.
