That sushi restaurant is amazing, but so is the alchemist workshop
Nice MOCs, but best admired from afar. Wait - "MOC"? I didn't make any of these things. "YOC" it is.
I like YOC, I just don't want to own a copy of it.
I’m usually a bit underwhelmed by BDP sets but that alchemist is seriously tempting.
That frigate is gorgeous, but then so are the sushi restaurant and the alchemist's shop. This looks like an expensive round for me!
WALT and Sushi Shop is a great refreshing look on the sets and great to see something which is not Knights, or Pirates in the line up!
I'm going to regret not buying the Sushi place or the Alchemist shop,..., might still jump ship for the frigate. €349,...
Does the lady with the mohawk have a jacket with a zipper?

It's a magical zipper. The gardener is also wearing dungarees/overalls, so lets not read too much into it.
Oooh, I think that alchemist shop would look great next to my medieval blacksmith…
Guaranteed these will be better than the imminent Ideas release, these are all outstanding and nice they cover a range of budgets
The Sushi restaurant and Alchemist Shop are gorgeous.
I find it hilarious they put PRINTLESS animals in that silly cupboard set so people would actually get it xD
Do you guys understand it? They put CHEAPER versions of the characters as exclusive.
Jeez what a cashgrab TLC has become.
Howeher the Potion shop looks great!
W.A.L.T. and the frigate are on my list.
The Antique Collection would make a great set after going through an Ideas style glow-up, but I’ve been burned enough by these MOCs having bad builds or build quality that I’m not gonna risk it
Sushi Restaurant seems like a must for Modular lovers.
Alchemist Shop will pair up super well with the original Medieval Blacksmith!
For the first time ever I think I need all of these as they are all from the first images at least, fantastic - however, both my wallet and lack of space will prevent this so probably not a bad thing really...

Maybe, if you remove the big flask from the roof. The blacksmith was at least semi-realistic, but the flask here puts the alchemist firmly into the fantasy / cartoon camp.
I was always in for the Alchemist’s Shop, but am frustrated the figures/factions changed as I have no interest in the new ones. It baffles me a bit that they give them a palette to work with that isn’t even in production by the time the set comes to fruition.
i am a little confused. Howcome a privateer fly the solder's banner and have soldiers as crew??

It's a cunning disguise :)
I really like the alchemist shop, the bottle in the roof is actually the thing which sells it for me.
I'm tempted by the pirate frigate, but the price is making me hesitate. I love ships, but it's pricey and I'm not sure what makes it different from other Lego ships.
I know I am in the minority but I love the Antique Collection! What a unique scale and style we will likely never see from an official LEGO model.
Like commenters mentioned above, stability might be a concern. Specifically the legs of the chair made of the broom end pieces attached to ice cream cones. Those cone pieces have moderate clutch power *at best*, and the longer lever arm with the broom pieces will make them dislodge. However, for display, this should be fine.
Price is reasonable as well!
The Alchemist's Shop is tempting. It is shocking how much of a (hot take) re-skin it is of the Medieval Blacksmith. Same technique for the roof, bent tree coming off the side, workshop in the basement, similar size, chimney with multiple fire places, same roof attachment mechanism, etc. Maybe they are both based off of similar source material, but it just goes to show you might be able to take another beloved Castle set of yesteryear and dress it up in a new way to secure a BDP production set...
Nice mini Medieval Blacksmith model in the bedroom of the Alchemist's Shop!
Is WALT really the cheapest BDP set so far?
Also this could open up the door for more ships getting submitted! I know everyone and their mother would LOVE to get a Kraken warship!

It's odd how similar it is, and yet I don't mind. The colours and the interiors sell it for me. And like you say, the mini blacksmith in the bedroom shows they're very open about it.
I can't see where the ghost goes, though!
The Frigate is amazing, and a heck of a deal compared to the Black Pearl. It's also the only Lego ship that's a peer competitor to the Bluebrixx Queen Anne's Revenge. I hope I can get it!
Privateer Frigate Fortuna and Alchemist's Shop are really cool.

Good point - they are open about it! The interiors are very detailed!
If I remember correctly the original submission images had the ghost behind the bookshelf door in the basement. I like referencing the original submission images for comparison and have found the Wayback Machine good for that purpose!

The Antique Collection and W.A.L.T. are the only two sets that truly stand out to me because of their originality. And I say this as someone who loves pirate ships and castles.
The fregat surely is impressive, and it has an amazing number of minifigs (perhaps too much, given the size of the ship?), but it doesn't have the same wow factor a set like Barracuda Bay had.
I also agree with your take that the Alchemist Shop is basically a reskin of Medieval Blacksmith. The colour scheme is very attractive, but the fact that it's so similar to the Medieval Blacksmith makes it less interesting to me -- even though I loved that set. The minifig selection is also somehow disappointing, even though it's nice to have more figures from these new factions.
It might still grow on me, but I feel we've been getting a lot of fairly similar castle-adjacent sets from BDP, and I wouldn't mind if they took a break from those, and venture into more exciting territory.
Whatever happened to W.A.L.L.F, G, H, I, J, K, L, M, N, O, P, Q, R, and S?
Assuming this is the first pirate boat from the BLDP this has around 1000 more pieces than Jack Sparrow ship 10365 for around the same price, although the hold looks smaller?
The Sushi resturant looks great but for that price? A big let down for me is that i have to use a smart device to build such a big set.. absolutely terrifing. This wont be enjoyable to put together if i have to watch a screen that long. So a simple pass for the most Bricklink sets.
910061 Antique Collection is the only one that takes my fancy.

I've been less interested in some of the entries lately. Frigate here is nice, but I have enough vintage ships as it is. Don't need the alchemist shop, I have the blacksmith.
I have gotten all the reimagined themes of old that came through BLDP, except the siege encampment. Forestmen, Falcons, Seaside market, Wolfpack, even Fright Knights via Transylvania. This one doesn't do much for me though, but Dustmark is at least something new (and honestly fits the old crusade-to-the-holy-land background of the Legoland sets). Not sure I want to pay that much when normal Lego sets are getting so pricey and there are so many good ones.

Yeah, I've been collecting the BLDP castle-themed sets that thematically matched the official releases, but I've been skipping stuff that leaned too hard into fantasy or horror. Dustmark Keep is a great looking set, and a different spin on the theme, which I like for variety -- but it's non-essential for me personally, so that was another one I decided not to get. Perhaps I would've if there were only one castle set every two years or so, but at this pace I feel less need to collect everything. It also doesn't help that I'm so far behind in actually building these castles that my excitement has somewhat died down -- but I think that might be healthy.
I had originally planned to fully pass on Series 7, especially after an expensive Series 6.
But wow, some of these look much better than I had originally expected.
Good thing I already started saving for the Frigate Fortuna. I really enjoy how they gave it 3 different flag options, so you can choose which faction to give the ship too. (But no Blacktron option, so its not perfect.)

Yes, Walt is from what I can tell. The outdoor adventure and camping sets were both sub $100 since they were $50 and $80. There was also the Popcorn wagon and Snack Shack but both were around $50(one was $55). Walt is $10 cheaper in USD than any other set. It will be interesting to see if we have more sub $50 sets in the line.
WALT would make a pretty good Christmas present for one of the kids. Unique and interesting, and cute. I think I'll grab one.
The antique collection and sushi restaurants are amazing!! I also love the ship but it is so expensive.
As a Castle fan, the Alchemist's Shop is the only must-buy for me (even if it is a little derivative of the Blacksmith set, but at least it should look good next to it). I may get Privateer Frigate Fortuna depending on how it looks in reviews. The rest are cool looking (especially the Sushi Restaurant), but nothing that I'm particularly interested in owning.

Same. The Logging Railway trestle is my least favorite build in 45 years and hundreds of sets of Lego building. That thing was so repetitive and boring brown...and in the end I wound up with a VERY fragile trestle that would break if you looked at it funny. The other BDP sets I got have been problematic as well and could have used some touch-ups by Lego's Master Builders. For such a high price, it's disappointing to get sets that really aren't Lego quality (other than using genuine Lego bricks).
As a result of being CONSTANTLY disappointed by BDP sets, I've vowed to never spend money on these ever again unless Lego is involved in some improvements before they're sold.
Sushi, ship, and shop, for me.
Still ruminating about robot.
No, to furniture.

Privateers are legitamized pirates working as sort of naval mercenaries. They flew the colors of the nation that hired them (in exchange for a share of the booty, and were only allowed to target approved ships).
The Fortuna doesn't appear to "have soldiers as crew." There are no blue and white uniforms nor shako hats to be seen. The tan uniforms worn are quite different from the flag the ship flies. The crew still has an heirarchy and chain of command - they are not disorganized criminals, they are being contracted by the imperial navy.

But they appear to be flying two different army flags and one pirate flag - something is going on here - and I am not sure they are to be trusted by any of the two sides (the blue and the red).
The 8 uniformed guys seem very soldier-like to me. That is how I would use them anyway. But I guess they could be something else. BTW I really like those tan uniforms.
