Most of the Legend of Chima sets did not live up to expectations of their names.

Like 70127 Wolf LEGEND Beast.

Having watched Chima to understand the lore behind the sets, I understand why Speedorz exist, but I will comment that it is funny a bird themed character participates in ground races. Although at the same time, the characters with wings often forgot they had them and were constantly falling to the ground despite knowing they can fly. Peak writing.

Love love love Eris! Her original version was my first ever favourite minifigure, and this Outlands variant of her looks great too. Always wanted this set just because she was in it, never did get it but considering its low aftermarket price I may have to finally rectify that

What is going on with the wolf's leg in that set?

I miss Chima. Had a unique design aesthetic, created lots of great elements and minifigures, and tbh I enjoyed the 3DS game much more than I expected to.

I love that set! Looks like Amaterasu from Okami.

Nothing much. Worriz just got a little careless with that vorpal sword he's wielding.

By in Netherlands,

I find it interesting that with these speedorz we got a lot more of the terrain of the outlands than we would have had from the very vehicle-centric standard sets. It's super stylized (why would there be an eagle-themed ramp?) But it works to give a starting point for the imagination.

It's coming back to me why I didn't really get into Chima much... the 97% focus on just vehicles. Even here the only reason there's terrain is because they can't put more parts on the speedor. The legend beasts were a breath of fresh air and I got all of those because of it. They were also a good way to get most of the main cast for a decent price :)

Rendering error. On the box the same image was used, just with the leg in the correct place.

Wow that eagle head piece looks sick, I don't see a use for it on rebrickable but damn, that would look nice on custom eagle build.

Why is this creature toting a decapitated head on a stick? Was that a fashion-trend in 2014? Oh, I am so far behind.

It was an eagle thing. Subcultures can be so weird sometimes...
