By in United States,

Ravens were my favorite Chima tribe. Yes I'm a tad emo, but also they're so scrungly

My local BAM had this and I really wanted it... unfortunately I didn't have enough money and the next time I went there it had been sold

The presence of the ornithopter makes me wonder if eating Chi crystals turns your eyes blue.

Ask the Ice Hunters

No seriously. Because they needed Chi in their harnesses to resurrect, the only way to gain its full power is by eating it

Oh, I loved this set.

It's a raven zord. I mean, look at it. It's a raven zord.

My eyes have always been blue.

Hold on...

And what system will he be using to actually steal the chi? Something sophisticated and clever from this technological society no doubt.

Ah, he’s using a stick with a grabby bit on the end, of course!

By in Bulgaria,

I bought this on deep clearance and never actually built the model, just wanted cheap parts.

I’m not sure why I picked this up now, but it’s a great model nonetheless. The 2010s were a peak era for LEGO.

For those in the lore, is this meant to be a robotic bird, or an organic fusion with jet engines?

By in Netherlands,

One of my favourite Chima sets from my favourite tribe. It's the perfect foil to the sleek, high-tech and fast Eagle Jet, as it instead goes for a ramshackle power-driven appearance. And unlike most Chima sets it actually fully resembles the animal (albeit a fat one). The side build is very basic but sets the scene well.

Naturally, I never got it. It was an 'exclusive', which in my case meant I saw it in a shop once and only in that shop that one time. It was also a local shop in a rich town so the price was steep too. I ended up getting Eris' Eagle Jet at least, which has a lot of overlap.

Just a vehicle. The chima vehicles all resemble their animal selves for some reason. The Ravens, Eagles and Gorillas had some that were basically mechs. This one just happens to be entirely shaped like a bird I guess.

He's trying to pass himself off as a litter picker.

"Poorer cousin of 70725."

71478 The Never Witch's Midnight Raven comes much closer.

Or 71483 The Never Witch's Nightmare Creatures for a more similar price range / parts count.

By in Germany,

This set walked so 71478 could run.

I distinctly remember, the BAM in my hometown had a 2013 captain rex, cloud city Lando, misprint captain Fox, and sealed shadow arc trooper AND A SEALED CLOUD CITY all on one day- i went there the next weekend and they were all gone...i swear they get absorbed into a black hole...

No raven has ever managed to run. They fast-hobble, at best, or they fly.

@StudMuffin24:
Some people with deep pockets shop at B&M, and it's very likely that one person walked in, saw _all_ of that stuff, and bought them all. Plus some other stuff.

Or one person called all their AFOL friends and told them, "Holy crap, you need to get to the B&M!"

Hey Jimmy, you buy the Cloud City and I'll buy the Minifigures...they'll never know what hit 'em until we sell them back at a 100% markup!
