LEGO Mini Build instructions now available on LEGO.com

Posted by ,

The parts to build small models are sometimes available in LEGO stores and other shops and you can now find the instructions for some of these models on a dedicated LEGO.com page.

These include NINJAGO and DREAMZzz designs, among many others, so it is worth browsing.

Page does not exist....

EDIT: oh wait, just not a Dutch site, where the link defaults to. If I use en-us instead, it works.

Only three of them so far, but 6548650 is weirdly cute (or cutely weird).

...and if you use your LEGO login. More will be available. Like Harry Potter.

Sounds good. Next question is can there be a link to pick a brick?

Nice that they’re sharing these online. I appreciate when the mini builds are available here in Brickset so I can add the few I get to my inventory, like 6523834 but not all of them have been imported here.

There are some fantastic Ninjago builds, sadly my large bag of duplicate spares has very few of the requisite parts. :(

Better than the Insider program, which used to charge points for instructions.

This is nice. But as someone else suggested, having a link to Pick a Brick and having all the parts available would be nicer. (>_,<)

By in United States,

I just got an email from LEGO saying, "We saved you a slice." I got really excited that they would be giving me the Death Star. Alas, I simply received a code for 40780 birthday cake (which is like a mini build....trying to bring it back on topic). I guess any free LEGO is better than no free LEGO. :o)

I mean LEGO stores are doing even more builds now than they did back then. Most months there's one or two builds per month. They're even doing them on weekends where people can more easily get to them.

Thanks for pointing that out. Just downloaded the instructions for 6523834 and 6562113 (if I get the pieces for that, I'll be tempted to track down 60460, since I already have 60458 and 60459). I'll have to keep checking back to see if they post the 40249 instructions. I've always had an affection for that breed (even though I was scared of dogs as a kid) due to my first stuffed animal being one.

That would be great! Do it, Lego!

Would someone be so kind to post a working link?

:D

Thanks in advance

At our local LEGO store they don't. They have stopped such events entirely, no matter what month or weekday. At least not for adults like they did with the monthly minibuilds. They have certain events for kids, but those tend to be 10 years max.

If you sign in with your LEGO ID, the Butterbeer cart is visible. Hope that helps.

So it looks like I'll need to get 6562113 off the secondary market, if I want it. Just checked PaB, and the chassis piece, the wheels, and the driver's torso are out of stock there. Not a surprise, really, as the set was discontinued at the end of last year.

Oh, excellent. This’ll come in very handy.

Presumably they don't want adults grabbing all the free small builds aimed at children before the children get them or worse, dominating the stock and build area while children are trying to build them.

I used to build them for my kids a take them home for them, since contrary to me they couldn't be there at the times of the build sessions. We don't live in Frankfurt after all, I only work there. Otherwise I wouldn't have been able to attend either.
