Interesting. It's not often you see a figure that has absolutely no printing, yet is not a monofig (pre-minifigs notwithstanding).

They are rare, but there are more than you might think. I had a discussion with someone about the rarity of monofigs (before Everyone Is Awesome released), and they suggested several possibilities, which I kept having to point out weren’t _quite_ monofigs. Some had off-color hands, or waists. At least one, though, had drum-lacquered headgear, which is kind of like being printed.

And there are several with all the parts molded in the same color, but some of those parts have printing, like https://brickset.com/minifigs/sp103

Yeah I don’t feel like “the Grey Knight” has quite the same mystique as a Black Knight

The ghost minifig from 1990 immediately comes to mind.

Its odd they did a breastplate piece just for one mini-fig and yet all the variations of the thousands of Lego knights never had a breastplate piece?

Uh... I don't understand what you're saying, as the breastplate part has been around since 1990 and is used quite frequently.

And https://brickset.com/minifigs/gen002/ghost-with-1-x-2-plate-and-1-x-2-brick-as-legs isn't the only ghost that did that. If you look at minifigures with the "Gost" tag (https://brickset.com/minifigs/tag-Ghost), you'll se a few.

I dunno. After seeing an image of him in a tattoo parlor chair, that’s always who I think of when the subject of printed monofigs comes up.

That piece was used in 45 minifigures, across 51 sets. Mostly Castle sets, but other themes as well.

It's been updated a few times as well. In fact - how is this the first breastplate you've ever seen? Traveler, are you new to this timeline? Traveler, this is not the most surprising part in or of this timeline.

Or most C-3POs ever released (excluding silver leg/red arm versions).

I don’t know what the general consensus is, but I wouldn’t consider C-3PO to be a true monofig anyways, just because of the non-standard head.

If you can find them, you can cut-and-paste the URLs of their database pages into your comment, you know, and save your fellow Bricksetters a lot of frustration.

There might be potential frustration, but it was low-effort enough to actually save me time as I just gave up on looking them up. So, thanks!
