Let's all take a moment to appreciate how *fun* and what a great value the MIGHTY MICROS were.

This looks like a Captain America who’s about to defeat his enemies with the power of delicious Hostess fruit pies!

They had very useful parts in a bunch of cases, and we got figs in this theme we've never gotten elsewhere.

Offhand, the only ones I can think of are Doomsday and (if you don’t count the SDCC version) Bizarro. But most of the minifigs had just the goofiest expressions, so they weren’t often useful. From DC, I remember Catwoman was one of the few that could be saved with just a legs swap. Bane’s head wasn’t bad, but the B-logo shirt was, so the only real use I got out of him was making an Arkham jumpsuit minifig for TLBM. And the Robin head wasn’t bad for making Teen Titans Go! Robin. I did use some of the torsos as superhero t-shirts worn by kid minifigs. So there was some use to gain from them, but you had to be very unconventional to make them worth th effort.

I always thought that they would make great trick-or-treaters.

On the contrary, I would love for the Star Wars microfighters to include might micro-like figures...mostly because I would love to see Thor's head as young obi wan and superman's as han solo, not to mention wonder woman's as leia...

As a Star Wars fan, the Smart Bricks were enough.

They did two different Batman torsos, so I’ve got a couple kids wearing them for when TLBM Batman hauls out his loot cannon. We don’t do many October shows, though, so not much opportunity for Halloween-themed stuff.

Bizarro is probably the most useful overall in terms of his head fitting in with other DCU figs. I agree it would have been better overall if they had been just SLIGHTLY less cartoony but they're just so dang fun. And only $10!

If all but two sets of my pre-stroke collection wasn't in storage, I'd be replacing the legs and bodies of the pilots of some of my Microfighters with the body pieces used for such figures as https://brickset.com/minifigs/rac079.

I mean, I bought and built all the DC ones, and the lone X-Men one, and even designed a Deadpool one (he’s wearing a unicorn costume and driving a taco). But so few of the minifig parts ever ended up on a layout through my hand (another member does have the shortie Superman on one of his buildings, and at our last show I put armored Batfleck behind him with the kryptonite spear). I agree that Bizarro is probably the most useful, followed by Doomsday, but the best use I got was still the Bane head. The torso is garbage, but I wanted (and still do) to put the _ENTIRE_ Arkham contingent from TLBM in Arkham jumpsuits. So I got two copies of every set (one to build, one for the stock minifigs), plus a third copy of a few or just loose minifigs of the villains that I could strip heads and hands off of, and a giant bag full of Arkham bodies to put them on. There were really only three problems. Bane and Croc are bigfigs, and there’s no way to swap out their bodies. And Clayface is brickbuilt. I haven’t yet, but I have one more sealed copy of 70904 that I just need to build with a lot of orange part substitutions. Bane, I figured would shrink when he’s off the Venom, so that’s where I put the MM Bane head on an Arkham jumpsuit. And Croc…there’s no easy way around it. I’m going to have to buy a third copy (and I just let one slip through my fingers earlier this month) and paint the pants orange. Yup. That’s going to happen at some point.

Oh my! Glad you're back in the land of the bricks! And after seeing that body piece, I might have to make myself a chibi F-14 tomcat with Maverick using face of DIM025 and Goose using SH0320...
