This set is a sore spot for me. I was PotC-complete when this came out, and just got buried trying to keep up with TLBM sets.

Interestingly, this Minifigure was actually the debut of this face print, meaning this figure is the origin point for every single lazy reuse of this head.

I find it fascinating that in trying to make someone who’s the son of Will and Elizabeth they’ve actually made someone who’s looks more like Gibbs, but maybe that’s just me

In 2011 lego had a whole theme for the franchise covering the first film, second film and 4th film. In 2017 they made a one-off for the 5th film, which this fig is from. And of course there's the new Black Pearl, which is the second minifig scale version of it.

Just know that aftermarket prices are not great fir these sets.

...man, I miss the time when it was standard to just give a normal release spread over multiple pricepoints instead of one big set.
