@Huw, the set is 71038-17, and the link is to 71038-17, so why is the post saying the set is number 710387?

Not to be confused with Baymax from the Marvel comic Big Hero 6 who despite also being a robot has nothing else in common with the Disney film adaptation. :P

It's been years since I saw the movie, but I still have several quotes from this guy ingrained in my head. That said, he doesn't look quite right as a minifig.

This happens to all CMF entries. All set entries in the database have a "-1" appended to their LEGO set number, to delineate entries with duplicate set numbers (e.g., 375, which is the number for both a "-1" Deluxe Building Set and the "-2" Yellow Castle). Most of the time, the "-1" is unneeded because the set number is unique, so the script that generates RXotD articles truncates it automatically. However, CMF series use this system out to double digits, like "-17". The script thus cuts out the "-1" but leaves the "7", resulting in the single string "710387" linking to "71038-17". Presumably it would leave "71038-20" intact, but I don't know how the code is written (i.e., does it search for "-1" in the page number, or does it search for "-" and remove the next character).

Well, in the Disney movie he’s a prototype healthcare provider robot, designed to respond to situations where people suffer injury. His body, which is rounder than is conveyed by this Minifigure version, has a soft skin and is meant to be non-threatening and approachable. The skin hangs around a slim but strong robotic frame, and Baymax can inflate or deflate his balloon-like form as the situation requires. Baymax is equipped with an extensive healthcare database which he is capable of adding to as he sees fit, and possesses a variety of tools to assist with his duties. These include a scanner that lets him assess the health of patients, a video screen on his chest for explaining things to people, a nozzle in one finger that produces a pain-relief spray, defibrillators built into his hands, and a heating unit so that he can effectively act as a gigantic hot pad.

However, after his creator Tadashi Hamada is killed in a fire set by a villain known as Yokai, Tadashi’s brother Hiro enlists Baymax in his efforts to bring the man to justice. This eventually leads to Baymax being outfitted with a large flight and combat capable suit of armor that, sadly, has yet to appear in Lego form.
