2026 LEGO Advent Calendars announced!

LEGO Marvel Advent Calendar 2026

LEGO Marvel Advent Calendar 2026

©2026 LEGO Group

Nothing says Christmas like the start of May, so this year's Advent Calendars have been unveiled!

It seems there are only four this year, from City, Star Wars, Marvel and Disney, so Friends and Harry Potter are conspicuously absent and Minecraft was presumably just for one year. However, the four we do have look excellent, including plenty of new figures and some fun models.

I will show box images immediately after the break and then you can view the contents further down the page...

43298 Disney Advent Calendar 2026

  • 290 pieces

60510 City Advent Calendar 2026

  • 252 pieces

75456 Star Wars Advent Calendar 2026

  • 293 pieces

76430 Marvel Advent Calendar 2026

  • 317 pieces

Here is your spoiler warning for the contents of each Advent Calendar, shown below.

I note that IG-11 has a new head element in the Star Wars Advent Calendar, which is a surprise, while we can see a new Doctor Doom minifigure in the Marvel calendar, presumably using some of the same parts as the Avengers: Doomsday sets inevitably coming later this year.

There are some interesting items in the City Advent Calendar too, including Santa in casual attire, a snowman and a unique baby reindeer.

What do you think of the Advent Calendars? Let us know in the comments.

No Harry Potter one. Surprising, since there’s a dumpster fire of a series coming out in December for it.

By in Netherlands,

At this point, I'm kind of convinced that we're just being penguin-baited with these calendars.

That's a pretty desirable Doom-figure there, but I'm guessing we'll see it pop up in more than just this set, soon enough. So speaks Doom.

No, and sadly it was replaced by a lame Marvel calendar with boring stuff. Why not make a Ninjago calendar for once? And why not a Minecraft one after it's great success? It sold out before December everywhere. I couldn't even get one for my nephew.

By in United Kingdom,

The main ones my partner and I get every year are City and Star Wars, so I’m pleased to see they both look good.

Star Wars: While the minifig selection is not my favourite — I haven’t seen The Mandalorian yet but points for the Christmas jumpers — the little animal builds look absolutely delightful. All the ships look decent. They kept the weapon racks down to just the one. While my partner adored last year’s droid workshop I imagine this will be more of a crowdpleaser. A nice solid 7.5/10, I think.

City: The workshop theme is great and the piece count is significantly higher which is a fantastic change. The minifigs have been great but the builds were often simply not present enough in previous years, and this repairs much of that. The minifigs are perhaps a little weaker this year but a nice selection of elves is still pretty good, and I like the casual Father Christmas and the Snowman too. 8.5/10.

Marvel: I think only one Christmassy minifig? Meh. MEH, I say. The builds are fine and I quite like the colour-theming but the ongoing Christmas jumper drought spoils the whole thing. 2/10. Because I’m annoyed about the minifigs. (5/10 if I’m being nice.)

Disney: That is the most startled Mushu I’ve ever seen. The gingerbread castle looks very nice. Otherwise not super exciting, but perfectly acceptable. 6.5/10.

Ongoing disappointment that there isn’t a Ninjago calendar continues. I was hoping maybe the 15th anniversary would get us one. Absolutely delighted the HP calendar was cancelled, may it be a sign of the theme’s oncoming demise. Shame about the Friends calendar, and I offer my condolences and commiserations to Friends fans. I heard the Minecraft calendar was good last year so it least if it was a one-off then it was a good one, but I imagine that’s of limited consolation to those hoping for a repeat, so condolences and commiserations to Minecraft fans.

By in United Kingdom,

After 2025's incredibly disappointing and easily passable Star Wars advent, the 2026 one more than makes up for that.

Gravatar
By in Poland,

Good job Lego, first time in history I will be buying (on discount) City calendar!

Too bad that Marvel one didn't include someone else interesting beside Doom and Wolverine.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I’m a bit disappointed by the IG-11 (or is it 88?) specialised head. The original cone/cylinder option worked pretty well, and this one looks kind of cheap for some reason.

Gravatar
By in Panama,

Love the look of the City one, but quite disappointed that there isn't one for Friends. Poor Zac hasn't made it into a calendar yet!

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

The only thing that catches my eye is the Doom minifig

Gravatar
By in Australia,

... who on Earth was asking for another Marvel advent calendar? Haven't we collectively suffered enough?

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Looks like apart from the christmas jumpers, we're getting pretty common, none unique figures yet again.

Most likely Disney pulling the strings behind the curtains again.

What baffles me most is that LEGO is so much pushing for inclusivity, yet removes HP which appealed to both boys and girls and always had a great selection of minifigures, printed parts and good minibuilds packed with a thematic game or scenery. I admit last years was a downer, but I didn't expect them to discontinue especially with the 25th anniversary and all.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I wish we could get a Batman calendar

Gravatar
By in United States,

Star Wars calendar looks pretty cool. I like the specialized IG head and the Offworld Jawa.

Gravatar
By in Puerto Rico,

Now this is a neat surprise.

Gravatar
By in United States,

The baby reindeer is adorable. Hate the ugly sweaters, but glad not all of the Marvel figures have them.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I guess a Rebuild the Galaxy AC was a pipe dream. And I'm hoping that the Friends calendar comes back next year. If marvel can comeback, why not? (Speaking of ?Marvel, I like they way they gave both hair and mask/helmet for Captain America.)

Gravatar
By in United States,

I think this is the first time I'm *not* excited for a Star Wars calendar. The mini builds look wrong to me in a way I still can't explain to myself, and the lack of true minifigs sticks out.

Edit: Gideon and Mando just kind of look like regular people. If they'd both been given jetpacks, they'd look 20% better.

This set could have also used a Stormtrooper over one of the mini builds. Look, these calendars used to have a vaguely predictable pattern of: Day 1, micro build, Day 2, Minifigure related to the micro build; Day 3, accessory related to the Minifigure. I don't remotely see those thematic connections here, at least not as strongly as past calendars. Argh.

They’re trying to damage control so they don’t have to do anything HBO Harry Potter related since it’ll bomb with Snape Dogg and Tilda Voldemort

By in Netherlands,

I like the different approach for the City Advent Calendar, to focus more on Santa's workshop, with some nice minifigs and a baby reindeer. Two Santas feels a bit redundant, though.

Wolverine and Doom are the two highlights, minifig wise, even if the rest of the Marvel Advent Calendar doesn't look particularly interesting. Not even dual-modded legs on Spidey, while that piece is readily available.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Feels like a missed opportunity to try something different like a Batman Advent instead of yet another Marvel one. Marvel calendars are usually shelf warmers and this one isn’t that exciting other than Doom and Wolverine.

2824 anyone? At least both of these Santas are dressed!

Gravatar
By in United States,

I don’t understand all the chair like objects in the Marvel one. The Star Wars one looking, though. I always love a Sand Crawler, even if it looks like it got injected with Ozempic.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

The last SW calendar was by far the worst they've ever produced, so we're seeing improvements.

Think a HP calendar would conflict with the HBO series at Christmas. But I expect HP will be massive again once the TV series launches and everyone will be clamouring for HP merchandise.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

now the thinking begins, SW or Marvel

SW looks better overall, but DOOM, (and X-men christmas jumper)

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I was surprised to see the City one so specifically themed but I really like it. I don't even mind multiple elves as they will look great on my winter layouts (joining my growing Santa horde) and the 'Hipster' Santa will work with my existing Xmas city people. Also: pigeon

Gravatar
By in United States,

Someone said the blob in the Disney calendar is Mushu?! Whatever it is, it’s so ugly. Nasty. That snowman in the City calendar is downright scary. He’s gonna murder all the elves at the workshop.

The gray Jawa is funky. What is up with that? Can someone confirm if that’s Moff Gideon in the calendar? I love the builds except for the stupid weapons rack and the IG assassin droid looks great. I love the inclusion of more Christmas sweaters.

Gravatar
By in United States,

After several years of passing on the Star Wars advent calendar, this year I'll be purchasing it. I dig the the micro animal builds and the IG head is a must have.

Gravatar
By in United States,

So, only one in-house theme, and all of the external IP are owned by Disney.

It appears to be Moff Gideon. Gray Jawas are off world Jawas seen in the first season of Mandalorian.

Gravatar

The city one looks like accessorys to winter village sets

Gravatar
By in United States,

Ugh, you know what? Gideon has a distinct backpack in 75386. And black gloves. If he had those here I'd feel tremendously better about him.

Gravatar
By in United States,

How is no one talking about that super cute baby deer in the city set?!?!

Also no HP advent?!?! Grrrr

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Do we know for a fact that there's only four calendars this year, or is it (as I'd wager) that only four have been revealed SO FAR, with the remainder being revealed at a later date?

I could have sworn we were told another Minecraft calendar was coming. Still, I'd venture that this is it. These things will start showing up in stores in August and today's announcement is consistent with release schedules.

There is a transgender character in Hogwarts Legacy. She's portrayed by an actual trans woman, to boot.

By in Hungary,

2025 was a bad year for these calendars but this year even worse. So after many years of collecting these calendars this year will be the second when I will miss the opportunity...

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

I like the city one. Highlights: reindeer calf, pigeon, creepy snowman.

The highlights of the sw one: off world jawa, the ig-head, the small animal builds

Highlights of Marvel: DOOM, and wolverines sweater too.

I wish they made an X-ma(n/s) calender. With some missing heroes and obviously it will fit the holiday season

I don't know why there was a need to nitpick my comment since I was generalizing that SW Advent calendars tended to have groupings of three, but fine, let's break down the annual day 1 builds:

2025: Babu Frik: not a true Minifigure
2024: X-wing
2023: Omega (yes, a Minifigure)
2022: Republic Gunship
2021: Razor Crest
2020: A-wing
2019: Resurgent Star Destroyer
2018: Landspeeder
2017: The Ghost

Please don't make me keep going.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I think the Disney one and the Friends one ate into each others sales last year. They both seemed to linger for ages even at 50% off. The Disney one in particular seemed terrible value given it just had a few of those mini-mini-dolls. But that has been repeated again this year.

Star Wars looks pretty solid again after last year's one, I didn't even pick that one up at 50% off.

City looks decent but similar to previous years, although the snowman looks great.

42698 will be this years Friends AC. They just haven't revealed it yet. Only Lego knows why an Advent Calendar for December is released in September and revealed in May.

Gravatar
By in Brazil,

I wish we got our first Ninjago advent calendar this year, with all the 15th anniversary celebrations. The Star Wars one seems surprisingly good, especially given the nes face print for Moff Gideon, who presumably makes one final set appearance. Getting Carson Teva is also nice, though I wish Zeb had been elected to receive the luxury of appearing in a cheaper set.

Looks like Star Wars & multiple copies of the City one for me. Can't wait for the red hatted, red jacketed elf. But we really need different versions of Santa and Mrs. Claus already. Would it be so hard to at least give us her printed skirt? If the Disney one was minifigs I might be interested but the baby minidolls are a big nope. Zero interest in Marvel unless I found it for $5 somewhere.

Gravatar

The City set literally IS Christmas.

AND a baby reindeer AND a pigeon!

Gravatar
By in United States,

The lack of a Minecraft Advent Calendar is very disappointing (maybe it'll be back next year, after the success of 2025?), but the Marvel one may be the best yet, so it's fair trade-off, I guess. Love the Doctor Doom minifig!

They have VAT included in the listed price. We have sales tax added at the register, where applicable. On the other hand, you can usually find most of the LEGO Advent Calendars marked down $10 somewhere. It’s the _only_ group of sets that I can reliably find discounted, though I sometimes have to hunt around a bit.

By in United States,

I’m glad I stopped getting advent calendars because it seems like they keep getting worse every year (although I think this batch is better than last years). The new mold for IG-88 looks good but it feels very unnecessary and doesn’t look very Lego-like.

A Ninjago advent calendar would have been fun, especially if it referenced characters and moments from the show. With it being the 15th anniversary as well, it would have been a great opportunity to celebrate the theme throughout the years like the Star Wars advent calendar from a couple years ago did.

Everyone is suggesting a Batman advent calendar but what I want is a DC advent calendar. I don’t know why Lego has gone back to only making Batman sets. I imagine Batman is the most popular with kids, but that doesn’t mean kids don’t also like Superman, Wonder Woman or any of the Green Lanterns. I would’ve loved to see a Martian Manhunter figure dressed as Santa with a box of cookies as an accessory.

I don't think it's any worse than any other specially-molded head.

By in United States,

Besides Mushu, I think the micro Santa hat and the micro Christmas tree are going to be popular from the DAC. The green elves in the CAC aren't anything special, but is the red elf torso new? Three pics of Indoor Santa, and not one of them gives you a good view of the print on his legs. And someone explain to the Snowman why having a fire in his belly is a bad idea! IG-11 definitely didn't skip Leg Day. And the snowman wearing a tophat can only mean one thing. We can set Captain America's head on fire! Also, Ironman sucks, because that's just the truth.
