LEGO Speed Champions Fast & Furious Toyota Supra and Ferrari LMP Car revealed!
Posted by CapnRex101,A couple of new Speed Champions sets have been announced today, joining 77262 Ken Block's 1965 Ford Mustang Hoonicorn RTR V1 and 77264 Jaguar F-TYPE Project 7 & Land Rover Defender Classic.
Brian's orange Toyota Supra from Fast & Furious and the Ferrari 499P will be available from June 1st, costing £22.99, $29.99, €27.99 each. Both look superb to me and I am glad to see the trend of Speed Champions cars appearing as microscale and minifigure-scale models continues, after the 30709 Ferrari 499P - Hypercar recruitment bag was released last year.

These are nice, and the Toyota looks much better than the Technic version 42204

So much better! I’m just wondering if it comes with a roof? Because if t doesn’t I’m wondering why they left those studs exposed.
The Ferrari was one of my most anticipated sets for this year and it does not disappoint! The Supra looks pretty good too.
IS THAT A SUPRAH?
I like the wheels and the tires. They have much better desings now, and with prints, too.
I wonder if the side pieces exist in orange to make it without that weird print. Rear mudguard is easy since it's the same as the front.
Great to finally get the 499P. Looks amazing, glad Lego finally did it in minifig scale. That and the Supra are day one pick ups.
Oh, Paul Walker. Nice tribute.
Is that a new element in the intakes (is that what you call those gaps under the headlights?) of the Supra or is it just a weird orientation of one I'm not recognizing?
It looks like the Classic Space wing / fin elements with studs on the top... But this one seems to be just one brick or so tall

Those studs are brackets holding the rear window
Should have been Kubica 499P
I needed to zoom in to see that Brian's shirt was printed.

Ah, OK, thanks for clearing that up. Would still have liked a roof though.
The age of $30 Speed Champions is upon us
Ooh I like those new tiny angled girder looking pieces. Those would be great for ordnance hardpoints on aircraft.

It's an insane coincidence that I need a part exactly like this for a Star Wars MOC I'm working on.
Two more smashing Speed Champions. Might even pre-order if a nice GWP comes along.
The Ferrari 499P looks very good; it'll be a much better opponent for the Porsche 963 than the BMW Le Mans car was. Don't like the new $30 price point though.
The Ferrari looks great! Day one buy for me.
Yay. Another Fast and Furious car.
Yay. Another Ferrari.
I'm hopinf for more FF sets. Maybe from the Tokyo Drift movie. From movie 4 onwards, the cars become less memorable.
I'm no car guy, but the Ferrari is beautiful both as a car and as a Lego set. This one will come home for sure (I mean, the set).
Glad we're still getting endurance cars, hopefully it won't be too hard to get more of those tires for the Porsche and BMW.

Yes, it looks like they used it on the 77264 Jaguar F-TYPE Project 7 as well for spoiler thingies.
So the theme has jumped 20% in cost over the span of two waves.
You know what hasn’t jumped 20% in the last six months? My disposable income
The side printing on some of those pieces on the front/back of the Supra is very pleasing.
I’m a massive Fast & Furious fan so I’m naturally delighted to see a new Speed Champions kit, especially of one of the most iconic cars. Just need the Eclipse now for the last of my favourites, I think. Even the number of stickers doesn’t look too bad by Speed Champions standards!

Speed Champions fans are F'ed.
Nice ones.
Speed Champions are an absolute joy to build. I have almost all of them and I am still not bored with them. The designers keep amazing me with the build techniques.
Looking forward to these. Especially the Ferrari, which looks spectacular.
The Ferrari is very well done. Day one purchase for me.
At risk of being a pedantic bore, it’s not an LMP car but rather an LMH car (H for Hypercar).
The front half of 30709 looked like a bad version of the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile.
77261 doesn't look like a Weinermobile at all.
Speed Champions Weinermobile when?!?!?!
.:.sigh.:. We're getting a second Brian Fast & Furious set before we get Han's car from Tokyo Drift. Maybe next year...

30709 is really the only Speed Champions version of that car I want, but I definitely agree with you about the techniques.

If you gave me a choice between that and SC Herbie, I don't know that I'd be able to decide.
Both look good
The Toyota has the same type of windshield as the pink F&F Honda
The Ferrari 499P is a definite yes, to keep my 8-stud wide Ferrari collection complete
A bit late perhaps, I've seen a lot of MOCs of that car on RB

Chances seem pretty decent since Justin Lin & Chris Morgan somehow managed to make that film Good Actually after years of it being the poor cousin of the franchise. And it is a cool car. I’d be happy to get it. (Also, as much as I’m happy to get the Supra and would like the Eclipse, we’re missing a biiig chunk of the cast and I’d like more of them, Han included.)
Should've released a black F355 instead of the 499P so you could recreate the "More than you can afford, pal" scene.
