Have this one and 71021-7. The helmet mold is really cool.

Honestly my favourite animal costume CMF they've done I'm glad they recoloured it.

Why is it giving the figure number as the set number (71034-12)? Does this have anything to do with the database glitch that is causing Brickset to claim that I only have five minifigures? (Haven't seen that particular glitch in a while.)

Dragon? Nonsense! There hasn’t been a dragon in these parts for a thousand years.

You can drink your fancy ales,
You can drink them by the flagon!
But the only brew for the brave and true...
..Comes from the Green Dragon!

Brickset isn’t faulty. You really do only have five minifigures… in this Universe. In a parallel one, you have a very large number of minifigures. If it’s any consolation, TheOtherOtherMike is thrilled to have such an impressive collection when he previously thought he only had five.

"col409 was a woman
I mean, she was a dragon-woman
Or maybe she was just a dragon
But she was still COL409!
COL409!!!"

I ended up getting a few of these. Not just for Homestar-related reasons, but also because https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=18828pb02&name=Minifigure,%20Head,%20Modified%20Alien%20with%204%20Mouth%20Tentacles%20with%20Dark%20Blue%20Eyes%20Pattern&category=%5BMinifigure,%20Head,%20Modified%5DT=C&C=36 exists, and you are not the boss of me.

It definitely looks better with red wings.

Close, but not quite. It actually links to the minifig from 71011-5, which makes even less sense.

All the "set number" link leads to for me is the "Sorry, we don't have a set with that number in our database" page.

Well, yeah, because it’s treating the minifig catalog ID as a set jumber, but “col232” is the Tribal Woman, which is S15, while the dragon here is S23.

I was out hunting for early boxes of the current series, and the Kohl’s in Westland still had a few S23 packs. I bought the two remaining snowmen, but I know for a fact there was at least one of these dragons as of about two weeks ago.

To a certain extent I understand that part at least: the catalogue ID it's trying to go to, on following the link, is not col232 but *col23-12*. At a guess, I assume it displaying as 232 comes from whatever code handles the link somehow interpretting the dash as a minus operator and therefore removing the digit that comes directly after it for display; and 23-12 is the CMF series number-dash-the suffix number from this figure's set listing so it's at least not a completely random number...

But the bit I don't even *remotely* understand is where that comes from, since the figure numbers are never assigned that way in the database, they're just given out in increasing order, not grouped by series.

And even IF we figure that part out, I couldn't even begin to guess how come it ended up substituted for the set number in the first place...

By in Canada,

The same set had a little girl cosplaying as a knight, and my brain went, 'well, what if she's the dragon-lady's daughter...'...and that's basically what I did.:)
