That doesn’t look anything like David Rappaport.

Bears a striking resemblance to a certain chaotician.

You'll make him wonderful!

Hey, look who's wonderful
This corn-fed hick
Who said it might be keen
To build a town of green
And a wonderful road of LEGO brick!

Honestly I think minidolls capture a bit more of his Jeff Goldbluminess than minifigs do

By in Germany,

To me it always looks weird seeing supposedly male figures with a torso piece that was clearly designed for female characters. The proportions just look totally wrong.

The wonderful wizard of Oz! Goldblum's performance was fun for the character

Males actually have male-specific torso pieces and even heads (jawline). There's also an adult variant for each for males and females. And yet, that's still the case as the body shape is meant to compliment the design of the female figures. And as a result they all look unusually slender. It doesn't help too when you're more used to minifigures, which makes it more noticeable

Is this the first Random Fig/Character/Figure of the Day that my wife owns? It might be!

We're off to see the Wizard
The wonderful Wizard of Oz
We'll find he is a whiz of a wiz if ever a wiz there was
If ever, oh ever a wiz there was, the Wizard of Oz is one because
Because, because, because, because, because
Because of the wonderful things he does
We're off to see the Wizard
The wonderful Wizard of Oz!

(different song I know, but I couldn't help it... the contrasting nature of them both was too much to resist)

Maybe it's my eyes getting old, but to me the male and female torso pieces look identical. Heads as well. Which is why to me the males look like girls with painted on beards.

There’s nothing to stop them from looking like their beards were applied in front of a mirror, but there are definitely four distinct torso shapes. It’s just they’re all so similar that they basically look like a mid-teenager whose only companion growing up was a smartphone.

They're three sad souls, oh me, oh my!
No brains, no heart, he's much too shy
But never mind you three,
He's the Wizard as you can see
He'll fix that - 1, 2, 3!

I am surprised there is no open shirt version for this one.

It looks like he's wearing a vest and jacket over the shirt. Leaving the jacket unbuttoned with an open shirt and no necktie is a thing, but I don't think even Goldblum would dare try it with the inclusion of a vest.

The main difference is size and the inclusion of two bumps on the front. The latter is something you'll mostly notice in person as images taken from the front don't really make it all that apparent. And the former is very subtle and mostly becomes apparent when you put them next to each other. It doesn't help that adult minidolls aren't very common. Minidolls in general are less numerous than minifigs in the sets they appear in too.

@PurpleDave: Doesn't look like Luke Edwards either...look it up kids:D

Also, if this figure shook hand with Ian Malcolm...would the universe implode or explode...:)

I can remember when Alfred Molina, of all people, was the actor with the most roles represented in Lego. A lot of others, like Goldblum, have caught up and surpassed him by now.

Right, he was the first to three (Indiana Jones, Prince of Persia, and Spiderman movies), but stalled out at that point. When you include voice roles, Star Wars and Simpsons kinda blow the list up. Now Goldblum has this, Jurassic Park, and Marvel, but the most recent “Most Minifigs” article I could find was from 2020. Does he have a fourth? @Huw, is it _possible_ to add actor tags to minifigs, or would that data get wiped out every night during the Bricklink download?
