It’s a shame that Lego makes very few non-Batman DC sets these days. 2015-2018 was the golden age of the theme.
I was trying to see how many heads are in dark pink, but couldn't find it and can only think of this and the other sinestro fig.

According to BL, 4 different standard head prints and 9 modified heads.

Yeah, it really is too bad. It’d be cool to see more Lantern Corps. get figures, not to mention accompanying translucent elements to represent their Power Rings at work. And there’s characters from the wider DC cast that’d be nice additions, like Steel/John Henry Irons.
*SIGH*...So...roughly two-weeks ago (give/take a few days), I....stumbled over someone posting on Reddit A SLUG of DC sets. NOT Batman, DC SETS...I mean: Teen Titans (sans 'Go!'), Fortress of Solitude, Green Lantern Corp., and...Blue Beetle's BUG...I was ELATED...then I got to the last 'slide', to see the word "sike!"....and I was crushed...why, oh why can't TLG get their collective heads, out of th...um, around the idea to do more than BATMAN...:(
In blackest day
In brightest night
Beware your fears made into light
Let those who try to stop what's right
Burn like his power
Sinestro's might!
Also, "Sinestro!" "Sinestro!" "Say-what-stro?"

If Lego started doing sets with members other Lantern Corps, and *especially* if said Corps members weren't just incidental, but had the set themed around them, I'd be like "Shut up and take my money!" They could do a Mogo set bigger and more expensive than 75419 (not that that would ever happen, but a man can dream), and the only reason I wouldn't buy it is that I wouldn't have the space. If such a thing happened and I also won the lottery, I'd buy two.
"Sinestro" roughly translates to "left-sided". In most cases, that would make Sinestro (and Ned Flanders) outsiders, since southpaws only make up about 10% of the world's population. You'll find that in most cases though, LEGO-minifigures are also left-handed.
You're not that special, Sinestro! Other than, you know, having magic jewelry and a big purple head. And even then, you and Thanos are probably on the same Reddits.

Might be the inverse on whatever planet he’s from, lefties could be the norm. Which might make Sinestro a really common name, like their equivalent to John
Is he angry because he didn't get dual-moulded legs?
I picked up about a dozen of these bodies on OPAB (somebody goofed), but I really wish I'd had the sense to grab a bunch of the trans-yellow bars while they were available.

This Sinestro, 71026-5, 71032-11, and this guy:

The standard head is available unprinted in three variants, all of which have appeared in at least one minifig, including two monochromes, 8833-16, the girl's body in 4000013, and one even got used as the core of the Kraang in 79100.

There are ten modified heads.
This is how I got not one but two yellow lightsabers back in the day. Plus a letter from LEGO saying never to ask for a replacement part ever again.
I army built the Sinestro Corps a few years ago. Think I managed to make 12 or so, and it was a mix of characters of the comics (Melting Man, Haasp the Hunter, Lyssa Drak) and generic corpsmen (like in LEGO Batman 3). I really need to grab some more, along with more OMACs.
For any DC army builders out there: the CMF 29 Lloyd is a great parts pack for the League of Assassins!

It's actually his surname (full name Thaal Sinestro) so maybe it's the equivalent of Smith or Jones!

I love the idea that his name sounds like an obvious bad guy to us but is just his culture’s equivalent of “Bob Smith”

Beware the deadly yellow light of the Smith Corps, and their terrible leader Bob!

This checks out. A few years ago, we learned that the first name of the dread-knight Garland from the first Final Fantasy-game was... Jack. Jack Garland. From this, I can only infer that all other bad guys from the series must have had similarly mundane names.
It's never officially been confirmed that we would eventually cross swords with Steve Sephiroth, Frank Exdeath, Carlos Golbez or Jennifer Cloud-of-Darkness, but deep down... you just know, you know?
That's cheaper than I would have thought. I guess that's down to Pick-a-Brick availability.
This figure should really have pink hands, not yellow, but if they were in production at this point it was only for the second CMF clockwork robot. I remember that being a pretty common swap.

I fell for the same trick. I guess I should have known better when I thought I could get all five of the New Teen Titans minifigs in one set.

Remember that they also released his blue costume in the DCS CMF wave, which meant people had another option, too.

Huh. Yeah, Green Lantern uniforms usually include white gloves, but whether in his GL days, running solo in blue, or in the Yellow Lantern Gang, dude liked having bare hands. I bet he touched all the food at the buffet. He really is sinister.
Peak minifigure. I wish Lego still made non-batman DC sets.
As I have said before, I would love more Green Lantern Corps Lego, with a variety of aliens using a variety of builds/designs. The Jack Stone figure could make good aliens (if the mold was still around).
There is the Lanterns show coming out, but I don't think it will have a Lego tie in (and I am not a fen of the costumes in any case).
I never got into Green Lantern/Lantern Corps stuff, but even I would appreciate new Lantern sets/non-Batman sets. And Batman is my favorite. But definitely mix it up LEGO!
This torso was a nice variant for Yellow Lantern Batman until they made the official one.

Bullet dodged, there! Fortunately, it’s not that hard to figbash Robin and Cyborg to round out the TTG! team. And Other TTG! Robin. And Other Other TTG! Robin. And Other Other Other TTG! Robin. And the robin Robin. And Lady Legasus. And Wally T, Hot Pepper, Painbot, Birdarang, Beatbox, Silkie, plus the old Adventurers T-Rex works perfectly for an alternate Beast Boy.

Do you know what I'd give for Lego to do a Kilowog or Arisia Rrab?
I’ve lost his hairpiece. These days I use the Doctor Who hair in black for him.

“Did you make some of those up?”
“Nope, they’re all real! Could be worth a google…”

I used the head from one of these as a Kiliwog substitute. But it was all the other Lanterns where I had the most fun, like a Claw Alien, Yoda, Crystal Skull, and probably the most perfect head to fill out a GLC: Superhero Patrick from SpongeBob (he has a green domino mask).
A great minifigure, but I never liked the hairpiece for this one. There was a perfect one in existence, albeit in the wrong colour, that was used on the series 3 elf (CMF) and the weird twins from the Lego Batman Movie series.

I remember when this set was first revealed here, it showed the European box with a Batman logo instead of the Justice League one. My first thought was that someone must've screwed up royally to put a Batman logo on a Green Lantern set - it was not until my third look I noticed that even non-Batman DC sets are required to include a Batman (the spacesuit makes him blend into the background a little, especially when you don't expect him to be there).
It also includes the infamous "superjumper", which was rumored to destroy the legs of figures (so I never actually tested it). I don't know the details but I'd guess the studs were just a few um too large (so the figure sat firmly without falling off), which then made the legs crack.

I think you've told this cool story earlier bro, but AFAIK we never got any explanation about what actually happened. Did Lego really get their panties in a bunch 'cause you got two tiny parts when you really was supposed to get only one?

They’re not weird twins, they’re Wonder Twins.
@axeleng:
I tested a superjumper on a plain set of legs in a common color (probably either black or dark-bley), and they have spurs with a hard corner that absolutely tear up the heels. I’ve never used one since.

Yeah, wasn’t this fig in the only set that had those? A real pity Lego’s never made any sets with Jedi Temple Guards.
@PurpleDave: Yeah...here's 'the thing' there...I HATE Teen Titans Go! Seriously, the only good...thing they did was fighting Darksied, who was voiced by one 'Weird Al' Yankovic...basically as 'himself'...even stating how 'evil' his career his been...:D Anywho, I'd rather a straight-forward Titans team, the afore mentioned sets, and I'll raise the Legion of Superheroes...but alas, and alack, it's not to be...:|
