Random figure of the day: soc117

Today's random figure is soc117 Plain Black Torso with Black Arms, Light Bluish Gray Legs, Blue Cap (Soccer Goalie), a Sports figure that came in one set, 3569 Grand Soccer Stadium, released during 2006.
Our members collectively own a total of 815 of them. If you'd like to buy one you should find it for sale at Brick Owl or BrickLink, where new ones sell for around $1.60.

In the great British tradition of awkwardly abbreviating words. Association becomes Soccer becomes Soc.

Ah, so that head was still around in 2006! Pepper's head appears on thr box art of 7776 The Shipwreck from 2007, but he didn't appear in the set. I wonder why. I also recall that he appeared in a 2009 era farm polybag (Edit: 4899 Tractor!), so I always wonder what happened with 7776.

That head actually lasted all the way until 2013! Last appearance was in the reissue of City Corner, 60031
I remember being a little annoyed that the printed hair on this head didn't match any "red" hair piece I had. Dark orange just didn't look right.
