By in United Kingdom,

Donald Duck Comes With Pluto???!! This pair definitely interests me. :)

Gravatar
By in Australia,

Wonder how they will achieve the "shapes" of the characters in Inside Out, and Stitch...or if they'll just be regular minifigs, which might be weird.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I would love to see Mike and Sully. Maybe some more Monsters Inc. Nemo and Dory.

Gravatar
By in United States,

It'll be really interesting to see how they'll pull of the emotions from Inside Out, so I'm anticipating those quite a lot.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

>tfw no gf
(That feel when no 'Gravity Falls')
Gravity Falls is ending in 2016, they could have at least given us one minifigure for it.
FIVE 'Inside Out' minifigures? I never even saw that!?

Gravatar
By in United States,

^ I concur, at least as far as Gravity Falls is concerned.

Gravatar
By in Canada,

If this is true, this is going to be a great series. But, I guess I'll be the first to say it... WHERE'S GOOFY?!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Mulan?! That's amazing--no matter which variety we get, she should be very useful! I just hope her torso doesn't have too much flesh color (if any).

Gravatar
By in United States,

@TheBeefThief: At this point, maybe it will be 2-3 waves a year, so maybe one more in September, with such? Though by that time I sense it would be Star Butterfly/Marco Diaz instead of Dipper/Mabel.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Hmmm.....I'd definitely look for some of the classic characters (Mickey, Minnie, Donald Duck, Peter Pan) and probably Inside Out (5 is a lot, but I also can't see them doing one and not all).

Gravatar
By in South Korea,

Mulan!! Finally.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I loved the list until I hit the Inside Out characters - I think maybe the Disney CMFs could've been classic Disney characters and then a second range for Pixar themed characters.

Gravatar
By in Malaysia,

I just want all the Inside Out characters, especially Sadness. She is amazing :-)

Gravatar
By in United States,

"I want it all! I want it all! I want it all, right now"-Queen.

That sums up my reaction to the list in short.

Gravatar
By in United States,

this list seem fake to mean since it has insideout.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Another series to skip.

Gravatar
By in United States,

List looks reasonable if accurate. It appears to be 3 main categories: Golden age/classic, revival of cartoon movies 90's to early 2000's, and very recent.

The glaring omissions lead me to believe there is a high chance for a follow-up Disney CMF series. Or possibly some Disney themed LEGO System sets.

Daisy and Goofy are major missing golden age classic cartoon characters. Also, there could be variants of Mickey, Minnie, and Donald. Imagine B&W original Mickey and Minnie.
Pete, Chip n Dale, Scrooge McDuck, Huey, Dewey & Louie, can easily filly out the golden age/classic cartoon characters category for a 2nd and possibly 3rd wave.

What is interesting is Mulan is on the list and none of the Disney Princesses that are part of the LEGO Disney Princess (Friends) theme. I wonder why Tiana hasn't made it into the LEGO Disney Princess sets. I can understand LEGO staying away from Pocahontas. Most likely LEGO won't do existing mini-doll Disney Princesses in minifigure format until LEGO Disney Princess theme is done.

Gravatar
By in Canada,

Very curious as to what they will look like. Minifigs, minidolls, new molds??

Gravatar
By in United States,

It's Disney so I'll be getting them all. Hope there will be some pics soon.

Gravatar
By in Sweden,

A CMF series of Disney characters.... That would be probably the least appealing set of minifigures I could imagine. :| Something I will be skipping for sure.

Gravatar
By in United States,

No Goofy????? Really????

Gravatar
By in United States,

@mpolak98 - Assuming this is a real list, then undoubtedly there will be another series, possibly more. They did two series for the Simpsons, which has a fraction of Disney's history, prestige and marketability. You don't get a Disney license and release a single series of minifigs.

My only complaint is that if this is all there will be for Inside Out, they really should've included Bingbong, even if it means leaving out one of the emotions (ahem, Fear). Maybe Bingbong's in their plans for a second series.

Gravatar
By in Australia,

If these are not minidolls and are actual minifigures I will be overjoyed.

EDIT: Wait no Mulan. LINE RUINED!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Oh man if this is true then FINALLY! I've been waiting for this since the licensed was first reached and was surprised they hadn't done this sooner. Great news possibly.

Gravatar
By in United States,

That's one very strange list. I hope their heads aren't as huge as Simpsons.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Stitch. I. Am. So. Ready.

Gravatar
By in United States,

If it is that way, it'll be another series in which I won't be interested in - the moulds always get me though. Maybe some interesting moulds will be produced, or maybe accessories. Maybe the prints. So, in a sense, I probably will like it, but for the parts.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Peter Pan
Mulan
Genie
Aladdin
Captain Hook
Jafar

These definitely have me interested as minifigs they should look great and have great parts.

Gravatar
By in United States,

No Goofy makes me extremely upset and leads me to believe this list is false and is nothing more but guesses. That and Jane too.

Gravatar
By in Australia,

The range of characters seem great! I appreciate that they've covered most iconic classics,
however I would have preferred to see some characters from movies such as Big Hero 6, Dumbo, Finding Nemo and The Good Dinosaur.

Gravatar
By in Canada,

18 minifgs to collect and not 16? Really? If this is the case that much more $ to spend! I wonder what the rarity is for these figs?

Gravatar
By in United States,

Yes, it's obvious that they will be mini-dolls like the "Friends" line, since all of the Disney Princesses out on the shelves right now are in the form of mini-dolls... But you could put their sculpted heads onto normal minifig bodies, since the necks are the exact same diameter, and create something customized akin to the Simpsons Collectible Minifigures... Have Fun! =)

Gravatar
By in United States,

Lilo and Stitch. That is all that needs to be said.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Not sure why some think this is fake because of the inside out figures. If you think About it, it makes sense. Inside out is the most recent big disney movie and will appeal to the younger kids while the classics will keep the adults interested. They have a variety of old and new characters to catch the interest of all age groups.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Pluto, Mulan (if a minifig). This certainly is a patchy ensemble, though. Not a strong overall theme aside from the Disney license.

My long-shot dream Disney minifig might be Captain Amelia from Treasure Planet.

Gravatar
By in Belgium,

Why would Pluto come with Donald Duck when he is Mickey Mouse's dog? This alone makes me think the list is fake. Actually, I suppose there have been occasions when Pluto stars with Donald Duck but they're incredibly rare. Perhaps there's a new outing for them both coming next year or something?

Gravatar
By in Germany,

The Inside Out caracters sound interesting, since it was a terrific movie, the others are too "disneish" to me. But as I see, many of us think the other way around. :)

therealindy: The minifigs and minidolls have different neck diameter, the latter having the size of the "hand space". I mean the size they can grab with their hands.

Gravatar
By in United States,

^ @Yooha, Oops, well then it's time to get out the Dremel Drill... Bwahahaha! >={D>

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Strange that all 5 of the emotions from inside out are there, but no other Pixar characters...

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

The omission of Daisy is a big miss in my view- it would have been great for my little girl - also called Daisy.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Aladdin, Genie and Jafar... YES!!!

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Hahahaha, one unconfirmed post on a Russian website and the speculation is like for Luke's whereabouts in the TFA trailers!

I'll be really interested to see how they do these - I am guessing fully molded heads like the Simpsons honestly as much as I like normal fig heads. I am intrigued to see if they have a good solution to doing non-humanoid characters as they work through some popular films - Baloo, Dumbo, Simba, Nemo, the whole cast of A Bugs Life, etc.

Wishlist stuff? I'm surprised nobody has yet mentioned Wreck-It Ralph or The Incredibles yet. I wouldn't hold your breath for Treasure Planet or the Black Cauldron though.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Jungle Book, Winnie-the-Pooh, and Alice in Wonderland characters please.

Gravatar
By in Ireland,

Just three Classic Disney Characters (Mickey, Minnie, Donald plus Pluto )point to many, many more series if this info is correct.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Excellent list
Next season I'd like:
Phineas / Ferb / Candice and Perry
Gravity falls would be great too
Robin Hood
Jungle Book
Lion King

Gravatar
By in Ireland,

Also, am I the only person who's never heard of Gravity Falls?

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Loving this list, really hope it's true. If so I'll definitely need to get a couple of sets.

Gravatar
By in Germany,

Interested in about two of these...

Gravatar
By in United States,

I just hope they don't have Simpson's heads! Those big headsd kind of ruin the whole minifigure. This minifigure list does sound interesting! :)

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I want Pluto, but shouldn't he come with Mickey?

Gravatar
By in Australia,

They will certainly not be mini-dolls. The range is called Collectable Mini-figures, not Collectable mini-dolls. Every CMF set to date has used the standard minifig torso with either short or regular legs, or a leg replacement part. I.e., slope brick or genie tail. The Simpson's range used modified head moulds to represent the licensed characters. I would assume that the Disney CMF sets will do the same.

Gravatar
By in United States,

The website in question has never posted a false list before so there is reason to believe this is real.
Given the vast number of characters in the Disney stable over a wide age range this looks like a good start. A balance of old with the new.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I would love to have the Pixar's Inside Out characters...but I hope they release more from the Pixar movies.

Above all I want a Tron CMF!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Looks like an awesome list.

Gravatar
By in United States,

While I would absolutely love the emotions, I have no faith in this list. It seems very unlikely that B (or even C)-list characters like Tarzan and Jane would be in the FIRST series of Disney, and that the emotions are the only Pixar characters on the list. Only one of the princesses in the series is also odd, and Donald having Pluto also stands out. Probably just a speculative wishlist, because the choices seem very misguided.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Give us Goddamn Winnie the Pooh Lego, you have the licence!

Gravatar
By in United States,

I'm just going to get all of them !!!!!!! (: :D :) O: !!!!!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Minidolls, then I won't get, minfigs, then I'll get them all!

Gravatar
By in United States,

While Lilo and Stitch are wonderful additions, where the heck is Goofy?

Gravatar
By in United States,

I agree that if this list is correct, they will be minidolls. There is Aladdin, Genie and Jafar but no Jasmine because there is already a Jasmine minidoll. Also, Mulan is a "Disney Princess" so she has to be a minidoll to fit in with the current Princess line.

Lego's obsession with the minidoll just befuddles me. Sure, the Friends and Princess lines have been successful (not sure about Elves) but I think they would be even more successful if they had minifigs instead of minidolls and made the packaging more gender-neutral.

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

very very very interesting.

I am still betting on a minidoll influence.

Gravatar
By in United States,

First thing that comes to mind when I hear Disney are the early classic characters. What I would prefer to see included in a first run are minifigs based on animated characters that used hand-drawn animation techniques from before 1990 (up until Little Mermaid). Those from the post hand-drawn era could continue the line in additional Disney CMF series. Characters from acquired franchises like Pixar would be better grouped as their own series.

Almost forgot Seven Dwarfs (and Snow White) from my earlier list. Characters from that film alone could comprise their own CMF series!

Gravatar
By in Australia,

A world of no.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Still waiting for a Muppet series, some playsets would be nice too!

Gravatar
By in Indonesia,

I'm waiting for the day they're gonna release Scrooge McDuck & the number one dime. Also Huey, Louie and Dewey will be very interesting.

Gravatar
By in Australia,

We need a Dreamworks line purely for Shrek
I also would have thought they would have done some of the early Disney films like Snow White or Pinocchio :(
I also slightly doubt that they will be minidolls because it is called Lego MINIFIGURES so if Lego has any sense they go with the form we all love

Gravatar
By in United States,

Given Jasmine is a minidoll, I would NOT want a minifig version of Aladdin. I'd also prefer a minidoll Mulan, to fit with the rest of the Princess line. On the other hand, I'd definitely not want minidoll versions of most of the rest. (Peter Pan would be good as a minidoll given the way he was animated, but Captain Hook definitely needs to be a minifig, so Peter better be one too!) I really don't see how this can sensibly worked out without mixing the two figure styles.

Gravatar
By in Russian Federation,

Just gimme some Gravity Falls minifigures

Gravatar
By in United States,

Great, gonna have to buy my first full set....

Gravatar
By in United States,

^^What? So is there even a Disney series at all, or what?

Gravatar
By in United States,

Poor Robin Hood gets left out once again. Shame, I adored that movie growing up, and he'd be an automatic must-have for me. :<

Gravatar
By in United States,

I'm still waiting for a lego set build of Marshmallow. They make ONE Frozen set, and leave it at that.

Gravatar
By in United States,
