I got the Starter Pack last weekend for $40, but haven't opened it yet.
I ordered the Cyberman fun pack from Amazon just yesterday, where it was $7.49. Will probably just bite the loss of the $0.30.
I suppose if I'm really lucky either Amazon will match this sale or I can find the Midway and Doctor Who level packs at my local Gamestops.
It's tempting. Been on fence about picking this up for us and know really thinking of doing so if I can grab a couple extra packs at the sale price with the starter pack.
Played the game loved it (except the part where unlike previous LEGO games you could get the needed characters in a single buy you now have to spend upwards of $100 to get all mini kits). I am so far looking at the Portal set (unless Lego makes a bigger Portal system set) and I will also be on the lookout of in the event Sauron and Lord Vortex come out.

:( I hope this deal comes to Canada too. I don't play the game but the Lego Dimensions Bane minifig is the best one Lego has released.
I'm going to try to get the Doctor Who minifigures.... I really don't think I want to invest the time or money to play the game.
Definitely planning to take advantage of this sale to get Slimer and Stay Puft if they're in stock.

Fun packs are now 12$. So the are $4.80 off.
$60 starter set is not a sale.
Best Buy regularly has Level/Team/Fun packs on sale at 50% off. If you are a member of their "Gamer's Club" you get additional discounts, since these are considered gaming accessories. For example, Fun packs are about 6$ each when you can combine the discounts
The sale appears to be in Canada as well (it's called EB Games in Canada but I believe it is the same company).
Edit: The sale at EB Games is $20 off the starter pack (we've seen this a dozen times) but 25% off all Fun, Team and Level Packs as well

Great deal! I managed to get a Doc Brown and Stay Puft pack at a local GameStop. Still waiting for a better deal on the PS4 Starter Pack though; just getting the packs for the figures at this point.
At my store in the USA, it has been like this at least since Christmas! But I'm not complaining, it's saves me a lot of money!
