The 1st of June saw the release of almost 100 new sets from a variety of different themes. Several LEGO product designers maintain BrickLists which document their work and many have been able to add their latest offerings to their respective lists in the last couple of weeks.

You can view all the BrickLists by LEGO designers, including those which have been recently updated with new sets, by following this link. Look out for exclusive design notes and information about the creative process.

If any LEGO designers happen to be reading this and would be interested in providing lists of their work then we would be delighted to host them here on Brickset.

This is great! I only recently found out that some of the designers had BrickLists and I really like the idea of being able to follow an individual's work.

I really like these, both because they provide an insight into how the designers operate, and because they allow me to quickly find sets from the best designers. I'm glad to see that they are taking the time to update them.

By in Canada,

This is fun! It would be great to interview another designer or perhaps have a designer do a guest post here on Brickset.

By in United Kingdom,

Thank you for this helpful resource. Before these lists were published, I often recognised a similar aesthetic in certain sets and wondered about the design connection. Plus, putting these lists on Brickset gives me an easy way of praising the designers:

MIKE PSIAKI, THANK YOU!
My two favourite sets of last year were http://brickset.com/sets/31032-1/Red-Creatures and http://brickset.com/sets/31039-1/Blue-Power-Jet .

MORTEN RAUFF, I LIKE YOUR STYLE!
Subconsciously, I have collected eight of the fifteen sets on your list.

By the way, are all the designers men? The only female name I saw was buried in Andy Seenan's list: is Astrid Graabæk a designer and if so, shall we see her bricklist soon?

@Space:1979: There are definitely plenty of female designers, but it seems none of them have Bricklists yet. I know Mel Caddick (who mostly designs promotional and seasonal sets) has a gallery of all the sets she worked on on her Facebook, but she doesn't have a list on this site yet.

@Space:1979: Yes, Astrid Graabæk is a designer. She works mostly in Creator and Friends. Some of her sets include http://brickset.com/sets/5868-1/Ferocious-Creatures, http://brickset.com/sets/10224-1/Town-Hall, and http://brickset.com/sets/10232-1/Palace-Cinema.

There are also lots of other female designers. Some who I know have spoken about their work in videos, interviews, and at conventions include Mel Caddick (who designs a lot of seasonal and promotional sets), Rosario Costa (design director for girls' play themes), Fenella Holden (another LEGO Friends and Creator designer), Gitte Thorsen (an element designer who works in a lot of themes), Gemma Anderson (LEGO Creator and Mixels designer), and Tara Wike (LEGO Minifigures design manager). Also mentioned in Wes Talbott's Bricklist are Steph Prichard (a LEGO Elves designer) and Amelie Labarthe (LEGO Elves design manager).

It's interesting that Adrian Florea did not design the Jay's Elemental Dragon set from this year's LEGO Ninjago range. I wonder who did?

That green dragon looks so awesome, but I just can't justify paying for it.....

Thanks for the reminder and the refresh - truly an exciting linkage between fans / consumers and the internal workings / designers' world! Thanks!

@ Lyichir & Aanchir,
Thanks guys for posting those names: I'm now going to look through the last few years' of production to see if I can guess which woman made what set. And http://brickset.com/sets/5868-1/Ferocious-Creatures is very much my type of thing, so thanks Astrid: I may finally buy some LEGO via bricklink.

Of course, if any of the designers mentioned were to come on to this site and create their bricklists for me...

Justin Ramsden is really killing it at Lego. Two fantastic Superhero sets this year.
