Several LEGO product designers maintain BrickLists which document the sets and themes which they have worked on and these are frequently updated by their creators.

With a new wave of sets comes a flurry of activity on these BrickLists and you can view them all, including those which have been recently updated with sets released on the 1st of January, by following this link. Look out for exclusive design notes and information about the creative process.

If any LEGO designers happen to be reading this and would be interested in providing lists of their work then we would be delighted to host them here on Brickset.

By in Belgium,

oh man, that is awesome ! I never knew.
If I might be so bold, the designer should be listed in the individual set details when the info is known.
Probably even as a tag, that would be fantastic...

Is there any way to change the display order? e.g. most recent first

Excellent note for Mark Stafford / Nabii's 70323 Jestro's Volcanic Lair :-)

'The bathroom was controversial with one kid at a test who asked why he would put a bath in his castle, "He's the boss now, he never needs to take a bath ever again!".'

Cool feature! How do find this from the menus? If I go to Browse->Sets I don't see anyway to chose this option without knowing the link. If it isn't somewhere could it be added to the selections under the "How To Find Sets" heading on the Browse-Sets page?

@graphite - Go to "Browse -> BrickLists" (the seventh item on the Browse menu). The "Featured" lists will then be part way down the page.

It's also in the FAQ that's linked to on the orange menu, that nobody reads: http://brickset.com/faq

I will concede that I did not look at the FAQ, but isn't really a FAQ that is answered. The FAQ implies that people are asking "How do I look for sets designed by XXX" but then a link is given, not an answer on how to find those sets so there is no way to know how to get back to them through the normal site navigation.

And then when you get to the list for a particular designer, it appears to be using a filter along with "Theme" "Year" etc that are part of the normal browse filters, but you can't get to that filter normally so it is a fairly special setup which is why it isn't obvious or intuitive to find.

But I still like the feature =)

By in Denmark,

So many new designers - do TLG beef up all the time or is the turn-over high?

I can't tell because of foreign spellings of names but are their any female designers listed just out of curiosity don't want to offend anyone for my lack of cultural understanding on these matters - america has boys named sue after all and Earl my grandmothers middle name use to be feminine. YMMV needless to say we know who to blame for wallets shrinking now...

@bok2: They've been hiring designers like crazy for the past 3-4 years.
