BrickHeadz Building Competition reminder

Almost three weeks have passed since we launched our BrickHeadz building competition and we have already received several hundred fantastic entries from an incredible array of movies, television series, comics, books, video games and the real world!

We will be awarding separate prizes for digital and physical entries. There are relatively few physical models in the group at the moment so we are keen to see more, although of course you are welcome to build in either format. The contest will close on the 31st of August so there is plenty of time left to enter.

You can remind yourself of the full rules and take a look at all of the entries submitted so far for some extra inspiration.

Good luck!

Just had a look at the entries, all are absolutely fantastic!! Personal favourite would have to be Dory and Nemo.

@npgcole - That depends in part upon the total number of entries so we will have to wait and see.

@Brick_Knight - The prizes are not yet finalised but suffice to say that they will be well worth winning! We have already been able to get a large pool of sets based on The LEGO Batman Movie and they will certainly be among the prizes.

I wish I could enter, but I don't have a Yahoo account. I think it's required.

I'm still wondering if you could do original creations? It would sure be interesting to see, plus I got plenty of ideas for that.

I can't wait to see more awesome entries! :D I've been stalking the contest on Flickr so I can see every single entry!
I really wanted to enter a physical build too, but unfortunately, I have not yet found somebody I can make with the pieces I already have.
And I can't afford to Bricklink pieces right now either. :(

Can't wait to see the winner! :D

I love so many of the entries so far. I was originally excited about competing, but now I'm most excited about adding some of them to my home collection.

I want to vote on the winners. The top 5 should get MAJOR PRIZES. The rest in the top 10 should get a NICE PRIZE. The rest in the top 20 should get a SMALL PRIZE.

I have no idea how the judges will decide winners - there are so many great entries. That said, after a quick skim through, the bride and groom really jumped out at me. Very NPU on the bride! Also loved the molten metal guy from Terminator. And did I also see Antoine de Caunes and Jean-Paul Gaultier from Eurotrash? Awesome!

By in Denmark,

Many great entries, however, so many characters are totally unknown to me.

Personal favourite is the two Gremlins. They are spot-on and also pushes the limits with their big ears.

I'd love to enter this... But I can't since you don't allow entries to be posted on stites like MOCpages....

Why is that anyway?

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Because it's pretty much a dead site and we can't find them there.

By in United States,

Actually, it's starting to come back, and what if anyone who posts there just provides a link?

@Daniel.H

Why not just create a Flickr account or Instagram account? It is 100% free, all you need is an email account to sign up.

The Gremlins are brilliant!
I also saw a post on TBB of Freddie Mercury & Brian May - didn't see them on Flickr, but wow, amazing!!

Can I add details on bricks to resemble printing even if my entry is physical?
