Looks like BB-8 is the popularity winner! Backorder already.
No stormtrooper for BELGIUM.... France, UK and Germany have all the luck.
The stormtrooper is only extra in stores? How disappointing. So no need to buy on lego.com
Still doesn't worth it, even with triple VIP points. The freebies are not tempting at all. That's a pass for me.
im kinda disappointed the walker isnt a US thing. oh well. at least im gonna get the stormtrooper since im finally picking up the u-wing.
Shoe trooper in U.K if you go to stores! Great news!
'In store only' for the Shoretrooper is a pain. Nearest LEGO store is an hour away. Oh well, at least I should get to have a look at the new Falcon whilst I'm there :-)
I see a stormtrooper in Belgium as well, Hanskep. Store only just like in the countries you mentioned.
In Denmark the promotions are:
Triple VIP points on all Star Wars purchases.
30497 First Order Heavy Assault Walker free with purchases of over Kr.500
One of three collectable posters free with any Star Wars purchase for VIPs
Discounts on certain sets.
Picked up the U-Wing to get the Scarif Trooper.
It says I get a free poster but I didn't see it in my cart? Hope the poster isn't sold out already?
Anyone know if the offers stack...if I spend 60 quid in-store do I get the Shoretrooper and the walker?
The promotions are perfectly calibrated to work on me at least. The combination of Double VIP + Scarif Trooper + Poster was JUST enough to convince me to put BB-8 on backorder. Any less and I might have stood strong against temptation.
Such a let down! I'm very disappointed by the Force friday sale. No interesting sets on sale and the ones that are on sale can be bought elsewhere for a lot cheaper. TLJ sets are way overpriced. €159,99 for the First Order Star Destroyer and €149,99 for the Heavy Assault Walker?? Come on man! That's just ripping people off.
So I'm now going to forget about Force Friday and buy them at other stores that WILL sell them for the right prices.
Haven´'t bought anything att LEGO.com since Ewok Village went out of production, the prices are just stupid, every Last Jedi set is $35-40 cheaper at other stores in Sweden.
Don't get me started on the sale...
When it says purchases of over £25, is that star wars only, or could you get two pick a brick cups, for example and still get it free
Force Friday is a fail. As other People here mentioned, the sets are way to expensive and the Scarif Stormtrooper only in shops is a bad joke.
The prices for parking in a city alone would negate the price reduction. So why should i go to the nearest Lego Store?
I dont understand why sets directly from the producer are always so overpriced. There is no Trader between Lego and me, so nobody who earns extra Money.
Disappointing. "Discounts on certain sets" for us (Ireland) means 20% off 10 of the Force Awakens and Rogue One sets and 50% off 6 constraction figures.
Tesco UK are doing 1000 extra clubcard points on all Lego StarWars purchases over £60.
No Scarif Stormtrooper = no sale for me today.
I'll be in the UK in two weeks time: I'll see what they have in stores then, at the current excellent EUR to GBP exchange rate!
why were the Rogue one sets reasonably priced but the Last Jedi sets are so severely overpriced?
How many days dose the Uk VIP points offer last?? Is it 3 days????thanks
Offers DO stack
are there images of the three posters anywhere?
do they come rolled or folded?
@rawbob you can find the images of the posters on the sh @p website, in the 'force Friday' deal. Apparently going into store you can also answer 5 questions for a chance to win a MF.
I got a poster from the Leicester Square store - it's card and not folded or rolled. They also had a UCS MF on display - it's huge!
Why isn't the Star Wars Advent Calendar on sale? I've seen it on Toys R Us, but held off because of today's sale.
Anyway, Rathtar Escape on sale? Count me in. And that Praetorian Guard looks too cool to pass up.
Just got BB-8 from Watford Lego store and got assault walker poly bag, scafiff mini figures poly bag, caveman mini figures, poster and a nice bonus buildable R2D2 all for for free!
R2-D2 is the Conciliation prize for not winning the new UCS Millenium falcon!
Went to Lego Store Leicester Square this morning. They're giving out todays "poster" - it's approx A4 size and made out of cardboard. Quite sturdy.
They also have the new UCS Falcon on display - it's a thing of beauty. In addition you can get a booklet with info on it, and they're having an in store event on Sept 14th with the designer where you can get your copy signed.
Also, they're giving out 30611 R2-D2 with purchases over £45.
Please note that free walker polybag is only available with purchases over 65 Euros...not 55 Euros in Germany
I have a question to "admins" .. neither of these buildable figures has been (or had been?) marked as RETIRING SOON - yet 75120 K-2SO shows as retired set.
so .. how much trustworthy are these "retiring soon" tags from LEGO? Do they have any kind of serious policy that they would follow no matter what - or they tag the items based on what the need to push selling?
I assume thy are out of posters for today...... nothing on the website now.... im hoping they may give me tomorrows with my BB8 but we'll see.....
US LEGO.com web site says the poster in only on 2 Sep (after many sets will be out of stock). Another dumb decision.
And I just noticed a different poster on the 3rd.
Damn, I forgot about the Advent calendar! One more order I guess...
I want that Trooper but there isn't anything SW related that I want. That offer to get the FO Heavy Assalt Walker polybag is also cool.
I went in to Leicester Square to look at the MF. It is absolutely massive. The Star Wars advent calendar was on sale but there weren't many left on the shelf.
There was a little sticker quiz for a chance to win the MF but losers were being given an R2-D2 (30611) polybag as a consolation (the quiz was pretty disorganised in and I felt for the harried staff member - it was clearly a two man job) without a need to make a purchase.
I picked up a City advent calendar and the Halloween set and was given a SW poster and caveman set.
Just received my VIP email announcing Force Friday and 3 of the new sets are already on backorder. It's a good thing I didn't sleep well and decided to order sets from my bed at 4 this morning.
The US LEGO.com site seems to be once again in total meltdown. I tried for 20 minutes to backorder Assault on Hoth. Final checkout showed charges for shipping and no free add ons along with a message regarding technical difficulties and 24 hours to process. Hopefully my order will sort out on the back end. So frustrating.
FARCE Friday as predicted. 20% a handful of sets, and 10 hours into a 3 day sale some sets are already on back order.
I think it's disappointing with the Scarif Stormtrooper as my LEGO Store isn't around the cornor. Anyway, I can get other items. But the sale of certain Star Wars sets are really bad because I already own all sets :/ I just bought 75187 no matter that he probably we get in 50 % later on - unfortunately he's not an USC. I don't understand why.
Hey! Wait a minute.. Why is there different sale of Star Wars sets? I would love to get 20 % of 75098 but it's all the sets who already are on sale the entire time
This is the first force friday I've participated in and so far I'd have to say it's disappointing to say the least..
The "sales" in the Netherlands are lackluster.. I can get the same sets for 50% off or more at local retailers trying to get rid of their stock.
No sale on UCS sets while other countries do get those on sale.
There is no LEGO brand retail store over here so how am I supposed to get hold of the scarif stormtrooper? My R3-M2 looks pretty lonely without a companion.
If it wasn't for the triple VIP points I most likely wouldn't have ordered anything through shop @home..
THANK GOD Australia and NZ also get triple vip points, otherwise this page would be filled with their whinig :-) rofl
As expected, sales are pretty unspectacular. However, just enough incentive to finally order the UCS TIE Fighter 75095 with 20% off, double VIP, scarif trooper and the travel companion polybag.
I remember when this meant something--nothing will ever beat the 50% off UCS B-Wing from back in the day!
Bought a Walker today. Got a caveman box as well as the other free stuff.
The US kinda got jipped on deals this year. :(
Plus the sets in general are just way to expensive, The heavy walker should be $37.00 at the MOST.
Popped into the London Westfield store this afternoon as it was my first Force Friday so made the diversion on my way home. Must say the staff in the store were fantastic they were all excited for the new sets and particularly the Falcon, had a good chat with a couple of the staff. Was disappointed with the sales I'm desperately waiting for the Y-Wing to come down to a reasonable price but it wasn't what I was there for.
Picked up the Snowspeeder on triple points which added a fair wedge for the VIP account and more importantly gave me the excuse to pick it up! With that got the Scariff Trooper, Assult Walker poly (awful looking vehicle full size but quite cute as a poly) and the buildable R2 poly all for free on top. The R2 anyone can get for simply entering a completion to win the Falcon by answering 5 rather easy questions, no purchase required. So overall was very pleased.
One slight disappointment was they did not have the new Falcon on display as had been hinted at, just the normal system Falcon.
The Stockholm store was also giving away chances to win a UCS MF. I didn't win. . .
these sets are only a bit over priced in the uk as the 3 biggest ones are okay but 40 pounds for the smalllast one is an outrage and klyo rens tie fighter 75 pounds why is the lego world coming to this!!!!!
still will get the smaller sets but for my birthday and christmas presnets as they are not to far away
I've seen that we can get a special VIP card when purchase the Millennium Falcon 75192 on 14th and 15th September on different sites. Where is it possible to find on the LEGO Shop?
They must be out of the 40176 Scarif Stormtrooper. US online now offering 5002947 Admiral Yularen from 2015 as Force Friday II freebie!
Almost everything is either sold out, or on backorder. I could not even backorder the BB8 which was my whole goal of logging in. so I got the Advent Calendar which has a fun mini selection. No Scarif trooper, got Yularen instead, no cavemen left, got the travel box as a bonus.
Regardless of your opinions on the sales, or the sets, this one looks to have been a massive success for Lego.
