By in Netherlands,

This set is so boring, nobody has somthing to say about it.

By in Australia,

I don't know. It's kind of cute. But Technic's never been my thing. Growing up, I remember my cousins all graduating from Lego to Technic, but I never did, I never cared much for Technic stuff.

Actually looks pretty decent, especially at that price point. Technic is one of those themes I'd love to collect if space, and more importantly cash, weren't an issue. Unfortunately there are so many other things that I would rather get first.

By in Serbia,

Technic is not my thing, but if it was, I'd probably focus on large models with lots of functions. I understand the need for multiple pricepoints but not sure if they need vehicles at all pricepoints?

There wouldn't be much of the load left in the bed by the time it gets to its destination.

Not a bad wee set, though I'm really an old-school Technic person. Not a fan of the balloon tyres, even now - they're one of those things I ended up with a whole pile of...

By in Finland,

Not that great, really. Those old panels don't work here at all.

Why is there no ‘Technic’ on the box?

@LEGO Museum Bricks and Beans: The picture here is actually of the manual. The box did say Technic, oddly, where we'd normally expect the set name to be: https://img.bricklink.com/ItemImage/ON/0/8451-1.png

This was during a weird part of LEGO's history where instead of themes like Technic and Creator having their own distinct brand identity, LEGO was trying to unify their creative construction themes (Technic, Designer Sets, Inventor Sets, Creator, and X-Pods) under shared "Make and Create" branding. Also, what we now think of as "Creator" is closer to what were then branded as the Designer Sets — "Creator" sets back then were bulk brick boxes like the Basic and Free-Style sets of the 90s or today's Classic sets.

By in Ireland,

This and 8453 are some of the best small studless sets if you ask me.
