TRON: Legacy Signing Event
Posted by CapnRex101,
BrickBros UK, the creators of 21314 TRON: Legacy Lightcycle, will soon be attending a signing event at the Leicester Square LEGO store in London on the 29th of March.
The event will begin at 4:00pm and is scheduled to end at 7:00pm, according to the listing on LEGO's Facebook page. Let us know if you are planning to attend in the comments below and perhaps some Brickset members will be able to meet up!
In addition, we will be publishing an interview with Drew and Tom from BrickBros UK in the next couple of weeks, so keep an eye on the Brickset homepage for that.

They announced a signing already but not the set?
@Lina it takes about 2 seconds to find the leaked images
Cool, shame it is not in the US territory of Puerto Rico.
Nice to see the Thames on the game grid.
Could be fun to get a set with the creator’s signature, but I won’t take to the United Kingdom for an autograph. Waiting on a competition for that :P
In London? What a surprise
From the leaked box pics it looks like the presentation stand was swapped for a second bike, Or?
Would prefer the stand.
@iriz - A stand is included for both Light Cycles.
Why does it always have to be in London, couldn't they vary them every now and then and do one in another Lego store location perhaps?
I am so excited for this set, I positively can’t wait. Wish I lived in London.
.......and we're in London on the 30th. Oh well!
I'm considering it. I am still getting over the UCS MF launch & signing.
Oh...so there are two light cycles after all. Nice!
Aww, wish this was is in August, as I'll be in London then!
Also, does anyone know where the creator of the Voltron set lives? It would be neat going to a signing event!
Can't believe how over hyped this set is, this will be $15 of Lego for $50 in much the same way that the Ghostbusters Ecto1 sets and BTTF DeLorean set were. Don't get me wrong, they are all very clever builds but just so not worth the money.
Ah, London. Of course. Can't they do it at Hobart for once? I think I'd be the sole attendee, but hey, more for me!
I don't mind that these signings are usually in London because I still think the Leicester Square Store is the fastest (though not necessarily closest) store for me to get to. However what I'm not so much of a fan of is the timing of these events - they tend to be on weekdays so even if I just happened to live and work in London it might be a stretch to fit in. Appreciate the creators of Ideas sets and TLG might prefer weekdays for their own reasons but I think a Saturday or Sunday would be more convenient for many.
Will definitely pop in for this as I’m nearby and want the set (while double points is on) but practically, what’s the attraction? Are signed sets worth a huge amount on resale? It’s not like it’s a famous author or something. And anyway I buy Lego to take it out of the box not as investment... hmm.
How much is the set going to cost to sign and buy as I like to go to this event am a big fan of brick bros
