This is one of those Dark Age sets where I had no idea they actually ever produced anything like it. It actually looks kind of fun. I wonder if 'slot car' Lego would ever be a thing?
Slot car Lego--good idea. Scalextric has done it, and I want to say some Spanish company did, but why not Lego?
I loved those pullback motors (played with both of those I had , they're both stripped out)--it's a shame the part introduced with the Shell promos didn't get put into regular sets. These tracks are pretty neat too.
Woah woah woah, hang on a second. This was a set? I would’ve loved this as a kid. But 16 years too late I guess :(
Pretty cool. I just looked through the instructions from the set page and it’s even cooler. But those minifigures are mighty weird.
There sure is a lot of road in this off-road race track.
Also, I recently got one of these driver's torsos in a bulk purchase and completely failed at finding where it might have come from. Now I know!
I remember I always wanted these Racer track sets, I kinda wish Lego didn't get rid of Racers in favor of Speed Champions.
For some reasons I never saw those track sets in Poland while I really wanted them. Are they working as well they are shown?
These look like good parts for a GBC.
Neat looking set. The cars look a bit odd, but it looks fun nonetheless.
This is a strange but cool set.
One of the few random sets that I own that isn't Star Wars. Says a lot about me.
Anyway, I wanted to talk about the head of the driver of the green car. That remains to be one of my favorite minifigure heads. https://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemPic.asp?P=3626bpx15 One, that full beard rocks. Two, the expression is great. Three, the headband adds an extra bit of character.
