3 for 2 on toys at Argos this weekend
Posted by Huw,You know the drill: check out what's available in your local store on the Argos website, reserve and collect!
Not all LEGO is included but many new releases, such as Technic and Harry Potter, are.
The offer ends Tuesday. If your local branch doesn't have what you want you might find it at Amazon.co.uk, which has reduced dozens of sets to price match.

Fully took advantage of this, bought 76110: Batman: The Attack of the Talons, 76111: Batman: Brother Eye Takedown and 76095: Black Manta Strike, looking forward to being able to pick them up over the weekend.
Typical I get the Harry Potter train and great hall from them yesterday ;(
@starwarsfan14: You have my sympathy. I know it doesn't help you now but it is a good tip to check their Lego clearance & price cut selection before buying. If it looks suspiciously small then the odds are they have a major promotion in the pipeline. Last week my local store had about 50 sets reduced but yesterday they had just 1 so I knew something was up.
@starwarsfan14 - why don't you just repurchase them as a 3 for for two, then (assuming you've already opened your sets from yesterday) just return two of the three new sets with your old receipt. Well worth a tiny bit of extra hassle to basically get £75 of extra free Lego.
Just as an FYI for Star Wars fans, combining the AT-Hauler, Conveyex and X-Wing is pretty good value as all are included - and they've only just been released!
Ah, I haven't been in the UK for over 10 years and it's quite nostalgic to hear Argos is still going- internet shopping in the pre-internet era!
@Kynareth, Unlike many high street chains, Argos spotted the threat of internet shopping early on and adapted their strategy accordingly. Rather than fighting online shopping, they adapted to it. They were early adopters of click-and-collect, allow you to receive Ebay orders in store and were among the first national chains to offer same day delivery for examples.
In fairness to Argos, I placed an order at 8am Friday and they delivered it to my door at 9pm that evening for £4. By the time I've driven to the store, paid to park, time, etc. It was a good deal. Just a shame the boxes were all a bit beaten up when they delviered them. I think had I collected they would have survived a bit better. But anyway, a cracking deal.
Everything I wanted was all out of stock ??
