Battle droids were, are, and always will be my favorite minifigures of all time. Nothing will top them.

$5, three figures with a display. Now a Collectible Minifigure is bordering on that alone. Really, I'd like to see this type of "battle pack" for all themes like they used to continue with the stands and card.

Found these and the other 3 packs in a random shop in Brussels 18 years ago, which got me out of my dark ages!

I love battle droids so seeing this as the set of the day brings a warm smile to my heart. Hopefully they put them in episode 9!

I believe the officer was new at the time this pack was released. He turned up in Jedi Defence I later I think.

I remember when I first found out about the whole series of those minifigs. Never officially released in Poland they didn't cost $5. More like $40. And I wanted them so badly!

I remember discovering Star Wats Lego and getting this set and the other Star Wars Minifigure packs in 2000, at the Lego shop in Downtown Disney, Orlando - the end of my dark ages... little did I know what it was starting!!!

I remember these sets... loved them! I never had this one, but 3340 and 3341 I owned... I was a kid just beginning to be interested in Star Wars at the time, so they really provided a nice easy way to help me into the fandom. I still have a few of the minifigures around now, in fact.

By in United States,

These were fun little packs back in the day; there were Town, Rock Raiders, and Ninja/Castle theme packs as well (man, are those green ninja packs expensive nowadays...). The bases have unique graphics for the theme as well. You won't see any more similar Star Wars packs in the future, as the action figure licensees took issue with Lego offering up these minifig-only sets. All those little "army-builder" packs with small vehicle/playset builds that are available with every new SW wave are how Lego gets around that prohibition these days. This is also why I doubt we'll ever see Star Wars CMF.

I have this and let me tell you that tjis is a neat soldier pack aside that the bases could be used for a bridge.

I wish battle packs were as cheap as this.
