By in Australia,

... was anyone else kind of hoping that it'd be another Clikits set?

Always wanted this one, never managed to get him.

Loved that in 2006 there were finally other builds to scale with the buildable figures. Spent the entirety of Knights’ Kingdom II hoping to get some buildable figure scales horses, or heaven knows, even a single female character, but unfortunately it was not to be.

Also, gotta say, LOVED Vladek’s cool new sword in this set!

By in United Kingdom,

I was losing interest in KKII by its third year; and the fact that Vladek was pretty much a recolour of his previous year's design, just with a new cape and sword, turned me off this set pretty soon after I saw it. The canon, in contrast, doesn't look awful... but it alone wasn't enough to sell me on the set.

The visual aesthetic of the picture looks more pleasing to me than the '05 ones did, though.

Oh, so this is one of the ways the mask from my Vladek's Castle could also be used! Cool! Thanks Huwbot!

By in Canada,

This actually made a decent siege weapon in minifig scale. Used numerous times in MOC-sieges.

By in United Kingdom,

Question what happened to the green, purple, red knights and the old king in wave 2 of action figures?

By in Turkey,

Nice sword, shield and cape. Helmet is not bad also.

Surely tomorrow's another Clikits.

Hard for me to judge as I was not a fan of Lego this year, but I still thing it looks ugly. 4/10.

@TheLegoFan - We saw Danju - the purple knight - very briefly in one of the comics, training the two new knights from this year's wave, so I guess that became his new job. I think it was implied that King Mathias went into retirement, since he was seen giving his crown to Jayko at the end of year two.

No idea what happened to Rascus and Santis, though.

@BionicleJedi: Rascus and Santis both appear at the ceremony honoring the two new knights at the end of the comic from the instruction manual: https://www.lego.com/biassets/bi/4291236.pdfpage=33 Presumably at this point Santis, Rascus, and Danju's questing days are more or less over, but they still hold important/prestigious positions within the Kingdom of Morcia, perhaps as administrators or representatives of their respective provinces within King Jayko's court.

My interest in Knights' Kingdom II was also driven to a great extent by the pieces' potential uses in Bionicle and other buildable figure MOCs. I only bothered buying any of the minifigure-scale playsets in the first year, something I still somewhat regret since the subsequent two years of sets had far stronger design quality (more complex builds, less gimmicky/obtrusive functions, etc). Also, I didn't find the new knights from 2006 as iconic or engaging as their predecessors, and by that point I had Exo-Force competing for my attention as well.

By in United States,

Hey, I got this as a present! I really liked this version of Vladek, his Dark Red cape of one of the cooler fabric pieces LEGO's made, I sometimes put it on Umarak to complete his "Shadowy-Mercenary-Creep Hunter-Wendigo" vibe. I only wish that these guys had ball-joints for their ankles... their feet could not be planted on the ground like LEGO's other contraction figures as of late. Oh well, thanks for the memories!
