Our Huwbot building contest has just two days remaining, with entries closing at 23:59 BST on the 31st of July, so make sure you get yours submitted in time! Find out how to do so here.

There have been some awesome entries already, like this one by Gary Scheppke. It's going to be a hard competition to judge...

By in United Kingdom,

Lots of these are very nice, but come on, where's all the clickits?

By in Singapore,

Bah, I don't think I'll be able to make the deadline after all. It's been a busy July for me, with hardly any time to sit down and build. Good luck to all the entrants!

By in United Kingdom,

Seeing these entries just makes me wish I had a bigger spare part budget since mine was scraped together from leftovers from the sets I own.

By in Japan,

Good luck to everyone ! I can't wait to see all the participants. And if I'm honest, how my Huwbot performed ^^

By in Australia,

I was just going to say, there's clearly not enough clikits ... when I got to the robot made *entirely* out of clikits.

Good job, builder.

By in Russian Federation,

To be perfectly honest, I think I still like the green and grey one used to illustrate the contest more than any of the actual contestants.

That thumbnail really is excellent (:

By in United States,

I now realise that my picture was pretty bad, and didnt show off some transparent colors very well, but I cant fix it cause i'm away from home till after the contest.

By in Canada,

I have to say, many of these are excellent! Not necessarily my favorite robots, but if this were a vote, the ones I'd push for to represent Huwbot are:
-the wagon-pulling one by Eero Okkonen (whose head reminds me of one of those "corn popper" push toys but with the Brickset logo),
-the "Johnny 5" robot with the Benny cameo by Anthony F (which also cleverly incorporates the BrickSet logo), and
-the smaller build used as the thumbnail on this article by gary scheppke.
I've never met real Huw and don't know what he looks like, but these three embody what I imagine all the essential characteristics of Huwbot to be.

By in Germany,

There are so many I would call awesome that I could not choose just one winner.
Thankfully I don't have to decide...

By in United Kingdom,

So many good entries, but I like:
ArmoredBricks
Rick
Eero Okkeonen
Pieter Engels

The most. There are others that I like, that have obviously been inspired by other robots and they are amazing too, but feel Huwbot needs to be unique :)

By in United States,

I sent an important PM for GentleSpring's entry to the Brickset account on Flickr. Her entry was posted late, due only to my error. The build was completely done at the time of the contest's deadline. Only the picture, quick edit, and posting occurred afterwards.
