Oh man, it's a Studios polybag! This comment section's gonna be awesome.

By in New Zealand,

Oh no!

By in United Kingdom,

Needs a picture of Bart Simpson holding the cake that says “at least you tried”.

By in United States,

15 pieces. And I can count them all by looking at the picture.

In fact, I looked at the picture and counted 15 pieces before I looked at the piece count.

By in United States,

Sooo, I may have to reconsider my hatred of the ATV in the Black Widow set. ;)

Gravatar
By in United States,

Studios is a theme I need wiped from my memory.

Except the Spiderman ones

Gravatar
By in United States,

Is this a piece of equipment that would be used by the gaffer or the key grip???

Gravatar
By in Australia,

These studio sets barely even register as sets, really, don't they?

I mean, it's not tree 3, but it's not great.

Gravatar
By in Australia,

I think I own this, but it's not on my list. Will have to check next time I'm back at my parents'.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I'm glad I was mostly oblivious to polybags back at the turn of the century. I mean, the Studios line, apart from the technological integration of the camera and the movie-making software, wasn't anything to write home about already, but stuff like this, if I had been aware of it, would have brought endless laughs to my pre-TFOL self. Thank goodness BIONICLE was launched that summer to fully distract me from discovering such things!

By in United States,

I think someone forgot the wheels.

That includes regular and steering! Things like this bug me...

It looks like a chassis with a dashboard...

Gravatar
By in Turkey,

Wow, weak set of the day...

Gravatar
By in Canada,

What baffles me about this is not that it is owned by 88 people, but that it’s wanted by 237.

Gravatar
By in Australia,

... as in, why bother trying to track this set down, when you could built it in 20 seconds from the pieces in your spare parts pile?

Gravatar
By in Singapore,

On the aftermarket you are paying more for the packaging than the pieces.

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

Gorgeous. You can tell this was created at the height of Lego design.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

That's not a buggy, thats a skateboard with extra tat

Gravatar
By in Finland,

For once I can say that even Jack Stone had better looking vehicles!

Gravatar
By in Spain,

maybe "buggy" is an obscure gaffers nickname to some kind of cart

Gravatar
By in Hungary,

Buggy!
The Tree 3 of cars!

Gravatar
By in Belgium,

Would be great in combination with Tree 3!!

Gravatar
By in United States,

WTH is Tree 3?
Looks it up.
Oh. Wow.
I mean at least you get the spider?

I think everyone owns this, if they just grab a handful of parts from a bin...

By in Netherlands,

I can't imagine what kind of meeting it must have been when the lead designer presented his masterpiece after months of hard work.

And the project accepted by the board!

I for sure wasn't disappointed! LOL
Keep them coming! :-)))

Gravatar
By in United States,

it looks like a bed with wheels

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

A masterpiece! /s

Gravatar
By in United States,

I wonder if this was meant to be included in a larger Studios set and got cut when they had to reduce parts (assumed). Maybe they just chunked this to the side and said "this could make a good polybag set"... maybe.

Gravatar
By in Puerto Rico,

As much as I agree with some comments above me I have to remind you that this is suppossed to represent what movie makers use to film some scenes (place a moving backdrop and people will not pay it attention).

Gravatar
By in Canada,

Man I don't often say this, but that hurts to look at. I'm aware that LEGO sets and models in general have evolved since 2001, but how was this polybag ever allowed to be a thing?

Gravatar
By in United States,

I believe this cart/wide skateboard is supposed to be driven (pushed?) by the Nightmare bunny from 4049 and 4051, who later went on to inspire Five Nights at Freddy's.

Gravatar
By in United States,

This hurts me on a spiritual level.

Gravatar
By in United States,

This is a great lawn mower

Gravatar
By in United States,

Actually I take it back, it's a terrible lawn mower

Gravatar
By in Germany,

There's obviously a mistake here.
It's not a buggy, but when the designer presented it at the design council meeting the head of design decisions rejected it and put a stamp "buggy" on the proposal. Someone at marketing got it wrong and put out the set, calling it a buggy.
;-P

Gravatar
By in United States,

I can't imagine why Lego had financial difficulty in to the early 2000's...

Gravatar
By in Italy,

This is a very realistic model of a sport car... after somebody stole its wheels, which makes it much more realistic!

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

Fun fact: they found this design so good that it appears in another polybag too: set 4049 Nesquick Rabbit Film Set.

Or rather, sad fact.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Ah, the late '90s-early 2000s. A sterling example of the kind of set produced during Lego's solvent-huffing era where the employees would just come in at 10:30 AM, crack open a fresh bottle of styrene used to make ABS, and pass it around all day.

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

Not the worst ever, at least the parts can be used , unlike some town.jr chassis having 1 those 1-block thick chassis.

And real lights instead of a printed brick.

Gravatar
By in Portugal,

This, is the worst set that I have ever seen.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

What. On. EARTH. Is. THAT!

But the work experience kid was thrilled.

Gravatar
By in United States,

You guys did great. I was thoroughly entertained.
