The next GWP will be El Fuego's Stunt Cannon
Posted by Huw,From tomorrow, Monday 26 October to 1st November, the gift with purchase at LEGO.com on orders over $35/£30 will be 30464 El Fuego's Stunt Cannon.
The small polybag set contains one minifigure, the titular El Fuego, and around 46 parts.
The idea of the set is, as you can probably tell, to insert the hapless minifigure into the cannon and shoot him out by pressing the green plunger at the back.
Unfortunately he neither fits in very well or shoots very far, so this is strictly one for the polybag or Hidden Side completest.
If you're thinking of purchasing something at LEGO.com anyway it'll be a welcome addition to your cart, but it's not worth making a special order for.
As far as I know, November's store calendar has not yet been published, so I don't know what'll be on offer after this GWP.
Thanks to LEGO for providing the set for this article. All opinions expressed are my own.

Cannon or not, aren't these guys on the way out anyway?
Oh good! I've been waiting for this polybag.
Is it £30 or £35, brickfanatics say its £35?
Getting that helmet via somewhat cheaper means is nice though.
This polybag is at ASDA for £3.47 for anyone who wants just the polybag.

It’s been a magazine freebie that helmet Albeit with a more natural El Fuego
Maybe they are on their way out - no Hidden Side in first half 2021 retailers catalogue
so cheap...
what about november/ december?
what GWP will be?
The cannon would be a nice addition to a build in any carnival/theme park area. Then grab a minifig you like, cape, pop on the helmet and ....!
It is one of the few polybags that was available on retail shelves this year - 3.50 EUR in Estonian Prisma supermarkets. Waiting for the proper christmas-GWPs...
I hope the GWP for the beginning of november is set 30628, which would be a nice one to go with my planned purchase of Diagon Alley.
We don't have this in Australia, the Halloween GWP that went live this morning is Hidden Side Hotdog Stand 30463, which you have to spend $99 to qualify. Which is great since they put free shipping threshold back up recently to $149. Least they put it back down, it went up to $199 spend for free shipping when the recent double VIP points started!

In my experience, finding those magazines has sadly been easier said than done.
It’s not great, but at least Hidden Side is still alive!
This was a triumph...

And in Australia it is $6 at supermarkets (if you can find it)
Minifig--not bad.
The rest--looks like the kind of stuff thrown together with random parts.
As far as shooting is concerned, I found that rotating the skeleton arms backwards (so that the forearms rest against the outside ridge of the engine/cannon piece) helps with figure stability and firing.
Wow this is just plain awful

Thanks for the hint! I found that adding some nitroglycerine under his feet also greatly improves the range :-)
We already had this set as GWP in the Netherlands.
I've written a quick review of this set that goes a bit in depth of its pieces and other stuff. Hope it is helpful for anyone.

This cannon is really reminding me of some of the tiny sets in the late 90s (some of my first sets ever). Nostalgia will probably make me grab it if I find it in the wild.
Humbug.
The only GWP that I will be looking for this remaining year is going to be the Christmas one as that is always something worthwhile. Hoping for some good Black Friday offer again this year to get that.
A neat GWP but not for me.

...Which made things bloody difficult as there wasn't a single set over $199 (at least that I was aware of) available within less than 24hrs of event going live. Though, judging by the spike in eBay and Fbook listings, the scalpers had fun...
Am I the only one who noticed he has the wrong face, just a generic skeleton head?
This is now the second or third GWP I've seen come and go while waiting for the Most Eisley Cantina to come back in stock ...
Clearing out old stock?

Seem to have been doing that for the last few months! The last worthwhile GWP was the Hot Rod 40409. Roll on the Christmas goodies!

Been available at the Lego Retail (Alceon) stores for months at $4.99
