Huw, don't fix this name. Glas is perfect as it is!
Ah yes glas!
What a failure, it only achieved a score of 26/111.
Seriously though, I like this part. Way better than plain glas.

It’s a translation error, likely by LEGO itself: ‘glas’ is simply Danish for ‘glass’.

Ah yes, RPoTD, my daily criticizing of a computer's typos!
I like this door, its great in brown for old buildings like I like to make. I do wish Lego made more doors and windows though, especially more old fashioned ones and different shapes.
A frame for double doors without a big 'split' in the middle would be a great piece.
I sure am glas to see a new Random Part of the Day...
What is the significance of 26/111 in this part name?
@Brickchap:
I figured out how to take 6x the plain glass that fits in the same frame as these and make a pair of large picture windows the size of 6x10 plates. I also have an idea for an arched window. I don’t know how to help you with your double doors, but there are other options if you get creative enough,

They seem to be colour IDs for frame/glas.

If you have 1x1x2 shutter holders broken in the “right” places (bottom one has top broken and top one has bottom broken) with a plate in between to make up for the notches not being in the door, that might work. It is illegal, but if the pieces are broken anyway, might as well give it a shot. That is why I never throw even broken pieces away...
Ah Door Glass, another great choice for Random Piec of the Day
@Huw - Is there a way to check whether a target Bricklink page exists? This part needs to be searched with a wildcard due to the color combinations (e.g. https://www.bricklink.com/v2/search.page?q=60797* [with the * being part of the link] ), or linked to one of the specific entries there.
It's just a door but has appeared in some really cool sets like the Ghostbusters Fire station 75827, Simpson's Kwik-E-Mart 71016, and some that I didn't know existed like Market Street 10190.
Well who doesn’t have fond memories of this part? A true beauty.
