so good
And people say Bionicle parts are useless.
Plot twist: It really is just a Bion Eye and has absolutely nothing to do with Bionicle.
Once you wake one, you wake them all.
Bonk Fans will infest every Random article this site has to offer! BWA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HAAA!
Of course, every so often it was a Bion. tooth.

To me this is a Technic piece. I love it either way."
Bionicle originally had the Technic branding, as seen in yesterday's RSotD. So it was always in the Technic system as far as I'm concerned.
My favorite Bionicle part! I’ve used it to make a Batmobile, a Batwing, a pair of Bat-bots, Firefly’s jetpack, a Plymouth Prowler, and the rocket ship on top of Pizza Planet trucks from Toy Story, Toy Story 2, and Cars (I basically cribbed the design from 7598, but flipped these around so the rocket would be more accurate in design and scale). I’ve also used them on dragons, a dragonfly, Grievous’ toes, Shredder’s hand…
@TheOtherMike:
That was an ugly disagreement when the Bohrok first came out. On those, it was eyes. They glowed like a cat’s eyes in the dark, they were transparent and multi-colored like the Toa eyes, and every Bohrok had two identical white fangs. But they were pointy, so a lot of people automatically assumed they were teeth. And of course Bionicle “politics” got involved, so there was no way to logically discuss it. As far as I know, 8558 and 8764 were the only Bionicle sets that used them as teeth. In other themes, 8780 and 4884 do too. All four of these use white.
My favorite piece of all time! It can be an eye, a claw, a tooth, a tail, a beak... Tahtorak even used it as a tongue!
Need one of these to complete my 42047. I'm sure I have one, just haven't done it yet.

CHIKT-CHIKT-CHIKT-CHIKT
A great part, one of my favourites! Amazed that it took until 2017 for it to appear in yellow, though.
@PurpleDave: I thought it had been used as a tooth more often than that. I also didn't realize that I have almost all of the sets to do so! (I'm missing 8764.)
Used this very recently to make the lower jaw of Subnautica’s Ice Worm, my favorite MOC to date. Such a versatile part, I love everything curved :D

"Ah, the original Visorak Eye. ;3"
That is correct. XD
One neat feature of this part that I rarely see remarked upon is that it has a dome-shaped cavity about midway through the part. I'm not entirely sure whether this was the intention or not, but it seems just about perfect for adding a small LED bulb, if you want light up eyes or headlights on a build that uses this part for that purpose.
@Lyichir:
So, the Toa had light-pipes for eyes. There was a large block of transparent plastic where the brain would be located, and holding it up to a bright light source would make the eyes glow. The Bohrok had a kranapult in the middle of their heads, which made that solution impractical. Instead, the eyes have a compound cavity. One matches the overall shape of the tapered bit, and the other is a bit larger (cutting into the sidewall by a significant amount), with two kinda circular shapes that meet a bit like a clam’s shell. When you shine a light source on the exterior, I think this was supposed to make it look a bit like the iris or pupil of their eye. It doesn’t generally stand out, except on the really light colors (clear, trans-light-blue, trans-neon-green), but a bright enough light on trans-R/G/B or trans-purple should make it at least visible, if not super obvious. And another point in favor of these having been designed as eyes, not teeth.
