Tripartite! Not frame with double shaft no. 1?

It’s common that you find a monopartite, and duopartites are common, too, but a tripartite? *whistles*, that’s a rare find.

These used to have the panes glued in in the 90s. I think that frame was the basis for the modern 1x4x6 frame system.

When Tripartates Ruled the Earth!

You know, those crawly little fossils that look related to horseshoe crabs?

This is the only LEGO piece I owned growing up. It was a window, a door, a space ship, a boat, a wall, an attractive lady wearing a Grace Jones-esque padded suit, and even my best friend. When I went to prison I smuggled it in but was forced to trade it for a small spoon that I used to dig to freedom. Special memories...

It’s like looking at some minimalist IKEA shelves. Who’s influencing who in this partnership?

The proper term is bipartite, ask any graph theorist :)

So that’s why there’s a geological period called the Triassic, because of tripartite LEGO pieces! Makes total sense. @PurpleDave, Thank you for clearing that up for me.

This is an epic comment and I approve.

Hmmmm, looking at this, I wonder if the window pane that goes in it comes in black. If so, it would make for some nice detailing on Blacktron...

So, you're saying you traded your best friend to somebody in prison to get a means of escape?

I wonder what your "best friend" thinks about you now! If you think prison is hard on humans, try being a Lego brick...
