40567 Forest Hideout available now!
Posted by CapnRex101,
The much-anticipated 40567 Forest Hideout is now available from LEGO.com and LEGO stores, or soon will be in North America, with any purchase of over £150, $150 or €150.
This promotion, inspired by the celebrated 6054 Forestmen's Hideout, should run until the 22nd of June, but I imagine stock might run out before then.
Additionally, 30503 Build Your Own Animals - Make It Yours is available with purchases over £40, $40 or €40, exclusively in LEGO stores, while spending over £40, $40 or €40 on NINJAGO qualifies for 30592 Mini Thunder Raider in store and online.

Past midnight in the UK and not showing up for me?
Edit: My confirmation email just came in with it added!
Same in Belgium. It's currently past 1 here and it's not showing up either...

Same here since before midnight... frustrating. Has anyone been able to put it in the basket and grab it yet?
Same here (Poland). The set is not being added to the basket. Hope it's not out of stock already.
@wwward:
Promobricks showed it being available in Germany, so GMT+2 should've had it already!
Yup. Not showing to me neither.
You'd imagine a company that makes more than 2 billion euros in profits could have paid for their website to not be a constant dumpster fire but nah...
Yep I've been waiting for an hour and it's not showing up. Very frustrating...
I can see and order!
Refresh, refresh, refresh... It appeared! I was able to order the Globe, Hideout, Aston Martin. Also redeemed the promocode for the Ulysses from a month ago :)
Well good luck to the Europeans on grabbin it before the site explodes. I'm still 5 hours away and will be frantically hitting refresh until it shows up
I did a test and put the Van Gogh painting set in the cart. The GWP was added correctly. I didn't go through with the order though as there is no set currently that I am interested in at RRP.
According to promobricks the GWP doesn’t show up in the basket, but is present in the confirmation email when it eventually arrives. I’ve just placed an order, let’s see what will be in the email.
Nothing for me in uk still, just the Aston Martin
After refreshing multiple times, it finally was added to my cart. Hopefully that means the issue has been resolved for others too

I was able to get it, but I needed to use Mickeysoft Edge browser. Safaroi and Chrome didn't work.

Yes, me too, just:
“You've qualified for a Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR Pro (30434)“
I cleared my cookies for LEGO.com and now both 30434 and 40567 are in basket.
Is it necessary to stay up and buy at midnight in USA? Or should it still be available come morning?

If it's appearing in your basket, I'd get it right now. There's no telling how long something this sought-after will remain in stock.

Nobody knows if it will sell out in 30 seconds after midnight or still be there by 7 in the morning. (However, I'd argue the former statement will be correct!)
It's also available in Australia. I checked the Australian Lego shop this morning, and they had it available with $210 worth of purchases. I actually thought that was pretty good. I was expecting the thresh-hold to be a lot higher, so I was pretty happy with that.
So I grabbed the Monkie Kid Power Loader (I do like my mechas, even if the ball-joints have become something of a gamble) and the Winnie the Pooh set, which gave me the free Forest Hideout.
I've had an expensive morning, but I badly wanted that Forest Hideout set, so, I'm okay.

Here in Japan I already got mine! <3

This worked for me as well!
Tried diff browser and clearing cookies in UK and still not showing.

Didn't work for me.
Using a different browser didn't work either.
Anyone in the UK who's managed to get it?

Same.
Tried Edge, Chrome, Brave...none of them worked.
And clearing cookies, data etc didn't either. My email is full of LEGO notifications about new logins already.
Arghhhh
UK here, changing browser, clearing cookies, using mobile, none of that worked, any solutions for us? Do confirmation emails show it?
Used another browser (ps4) being logged on both (Chrome on smartphone) and finally appeared and was been able to grab it! Hope this helps, good luck anyone!
I'm from the UK too and no luck. Keep refreshing the basket but the Hideout isn't appearing. I've got the new Ninjago thunder raider polybag promo, but not the Forest Hideout

Still waiting for the email
Absolute crock
I also used a totally different browser with no prior cookies or browsing data and it still showed nothing except the Aston polybag. Not great for us in the UK it seems…
Also odd that it’s trickling out to different people in this thread. Is this TLG’s new strategy to make it look like the GWP is lasting longer - because most of us can’t actually trigger it?
Ironically it smacks of the Ulysses probe fiasco again but this time I am actually trying to redeem my code for the Ulysses probe as well !
I was on Safari on Mac and I cleared the cookies for the Lego website. After logging in again and putting stuff in my basket the 40567 appeared and I was able to finish the order with no further problems. Still no confirmation email though…
still nothing... used a different browser, cleared cookies, refreshed a thousand times... :(
It sounds as though the set started appearing for those in Continental Europe at 1am CET, so perhaps it will be 1am for the UK too.
While obviously not ideal, anyone submitting their order after midnight should qualify for the set and I am sure customer service can add it tomorrow morning, if necessary. The set should appear in the basket automatically though, of course.

Yep, same here.
40 minutes in and no confirmed UK orders yet... I had expected it to sell out by now, but not without a sniff of successfully qualifying for it.
Yes, I’m having the same issue as anyone else in the U.K. it seems. I’ve tried all the other options and fixes that have been mentioned but still nothing comes up. At this rate I think I’ll have to call it a night, go to bed and see if it’s still available in the morning. If it’s not then I’ve saved myself some money!

I hope so, but that would make no sense as the "spend £150 and get this - shop now" banners have been up since midnight...

Same situation here in Shropshire, two of us on different devices, cleared caches, differing browsers and even resorting to the chromebook to make sure an updated browser was being used.
I’ve placed an order successfully and now when I put new stuff in my basket again the 40567 is again added, so it’s still available. Don’t give up and keep trying!
Still not showing up in my bag, but the confirmation email for the order I placed at midnight just came through, and it has it there!

Good luck to everybody trying to get it!

Congratulations, you're the winner as the first confirmed UK sighting of the Forest Hideout... so hidden it rightly deserves its name
My confirmation email also just got in. Good luck everybody getting yours!
Okay, so I bought the Starry Night despite the Hideout not showing in my basket. Let's see if I get it in the confirmation e-mail too.
On a side note, as soon as I finalized the transaction, I added another expensive set to the basket. Lo and behold, both Aston Martin and the Forest hideout are now visible in the basket.
Still not showing in Ireland after 1am. I ordered anyway hopefully email will confirm. Fingers crossed.
I've placed an order without the Forest Hideout appearing in the basket but just checked the order and the set is listed on there, in the UK.
Just took the jump and placed the order, on the Lego Account Orders page it shows I have both the Aston and the Forest Hideout in the order! whereas before it was just the Aston, good luck everyone

Can confirm that both Aston Martin and the Forest Hideout are visible in my order details!
Right so I placed the order anyway and noticed that on my order details in my account it has the Forest Hideout in there. However there is also a note to say please contact customer service to provide some more information before they can finish processing my order. Not sure what that means?

Nothing showing up in the US
**** It is now working in UK as in showing in basket..... 01:11am ***
I just placed one too. Nothing shows on that confirmation page but it's showing on my order details.
Just the Forest Hideout, though.
Anyway, the website still doesn't show GWPs when I add a new item to the bag so it's clearly still broken.
@Gadzooks said:

It won't until midnight EST
and having broken down the items we wanted into £150 qualifying orders, all of which show the item in the order, I've checked the fine print on the site and it is one item per household ......
oops .... guess I'll be seeing those complete order cancellation emails in the morning then

I've sometimes had that showing while the order is processing.... should dissappear in a few minutes.

I completed an order in full around 1am and then tried adding more items as a fresh basket to see what happens - in my case it just adds another Aston Martin polybag.
…HOWEVER the GWP Hideout is listed in the orders section of my account even though it was never in my basket during the order process - as many others have said. The case of the invisible GWP - which is presumably why it doesn’t seem to have run out yet in Europe & UK based on this thread of comments.

Highly unlikely they will get cancelled, youtube is full of unboxing video's of people who clearly placed multiple orders, one showed someone with 10 orders. I note you're also in Shropshire, feel free to ping me a message and can see if we're near.

Ah great, yes I noticed when I looked back at the page again after a few minutes it said my order was processing as normal. What a crazy howda do!
good point and realised that that would also mean they'd cancel any future qualifying order should there still be stock.
Fingers crossed, we've a 3-in-1 castle that really could do with a couple of hideouts to complement it
I don't know why people will think the gwp will instantly sell out. It's not a limited edition VIP item. GWPs usually last at least a day minimum, and that's when there are 100 new sets debuting. There are no new sets today besides this gwp.

I've never had that enforced... as several cardboard adventures, vintage taxis, Amelia Earhart tributes, vintage cars, sailboats, etc, etc confirm!

Something very flaky with the website... If you put another qualifying order in your basket now, the Forest Hideout would appear as it should!
Comments were TLDR, but I believe the Mini Thunder Raider GWP is postponed, in North America at least.
Really, really ANGRY. No matter how I tried, 40567 not added to basket.
Been trying since 00:01...
Different browsers on different devices, item only added as guest. Logged in... dissapeared. WTFrak??!!
Ordered this morning. Not expecting it to arrive for some time considering my Optimus Prime that I ordered 1st June is still in the warehouse :/

There have been problems with the Ulysses probe, the Lego coins, to some degree the old fashion car and I'm sure I am forgetting a few more. So people are being more careful than usual because the track record of Lego to produce sufficiently of a set that is in high demand (Lego Castle, no less. I.e. a classic theme!) is not very good to say the least. Personally, I hope it is still available on the 19th (when new HP sets arrive in Canada). I know my odds are not very good...
Let's see how Lego has decided to handle their 90th celebrations...
Normally I skip the GWP's, but this one hit my nostalgia button. I placed an order for Starry Night around 5.30h CEST. The Forest Hideout, together with the Aston Martin, immediately showed up in my shopping cart. I got a confirmation e-mail of my order around 5.45h CEST, but the LEGO website states that my order is still under review. Well, let's just wait and see. Hopefully my order won't get cancelled.
VIP is down for maintenance as this new promo begins? What the hell? I'm waiting to get Optimus tonight when the Forestmen promo goes live but wanted to use some points for a bonus item with the order Did new items get added anywhere today?
Why is VIP program offline during this period (at least from Hungary)?
What does that mean? If I spend money during this promotion VIP points will not be added to my VIP account? How so?
Got the promo (US). No significant issues...though noticed VIP is down. I always check to make sure there's not a promo item I want to add when I place an order.
Boom! Just got it here in the U.S.
I was successful here in the US.
@Anak said:

I do not order very frequently through LEGO's website, but I understood that VIP points will only be added to your account when your order is being shipped. By the way, VIP was also offline in the Netherlands...
Just went live in the US, and I got one. Also, yeah, VIP being down is a bummer! I was gonna nab that Classic Space ball cap as well!
Got both Forest Hideout and Aston Martin GWP's with Optimus Prime in the US. :-)
It took a while, but I've got me one. Also a Valkyrie in the bag.
I love living in western Canada. I only have to stay up till 10, not midnight for these things. Placed my order all fine, but had to use my credit card. When I tried to use paypal, it said LBR doesn't ship to your address. Whatever, it worked for me.
As of 12:15am eastern in the US, it's live, and the Aston Martin and Hideout were both automatically added to my bag when I hit $150.
What are the odds of this promo selling out quick? Debating wether to wait for vip to come back online or just order without a bonus item.
@NeilJam said:

I set an alarm for midnight and placed two orders.
*shrugs*
Got one, no issues.
VIP rewards undergoing maintenance. Can't get any vouchers.
This would be infuriating if the last 2 years of rich-stupid-Lego hadn't become a laughably regular occurrence. Now, I think I'll watch a movie, read, and go to bed. If I miss this one (or any Lego ever again)... meh. They suck!
Got mine as well, guessing they will be sold out of the promo by tomorrow morning. Hope no one is waiting.

Its why I no longer use Paypal for such buys. It sucks, but if it fails then I likely also miss out on the promo too (which is why Im buying at that time anyway). Sure I could call CS the next morning, but if the order does not go through, and they run out, then you are skunked if you wanted the promo.
Just managed to order from the UK, after annoyingly not being able to order about 1am, and then (conveniently?) being woken at 5:15 by the dog.
In the end, the only thing that worked for me was ordering using my Mac, after clearing cookies and trying Chrome failed.

Yeah, hopefully my attempt doesn't backfire. If so, oops.
VIP is back online now. Got my order in for Optimus Prime which alone qualifies for the Forestmen Hideout. Shows the Aston Martin poly on my order too but I wonder if those might already be gone from the flurry of orders when the Forestmen promo went live. Waited for VIP to come back on to get the Castle Coin as another bonus (appropriate extra with the new promo).
@Shropshire:
I had a chat with someone from Customer Service. After how fast the Vintage Car sold out last year, she said they did implement a strict limit of one per household on certain GWPs. You can probably scoop up as many Aston Martins as you please, but don’t be surprised if the Hideout gets stripped from any orders past the first.
@Nytmare:
Both Martian Manhunter and the AT-DP sold out in hours. Vintage Car didn’t quite make it a day and a half. May 4th exclusive promos have been known to burn through stock before the weekend is over. Their track record is fairly spotty on such matters, but between a higher threshold and claims that they’re actually enforcing the household limit, that should help stock last a bit longer. Otherwise, I’d expect this to be gone in hours.
@sjr60:
What I was told indicated the crackdown came between Vintage Car and Sailboat Adventure, so anything prior to mid-2021 wouldn’t have been affected. There’s also no indication on their end when a GWP limit will be enforced, but polybags probably aren’t affected because many of them also show up at retail. I would have expected you would have been hit on the Sailboat and Cardboard, though.
@HOBBES:
Ulysses and the coins were VIP Rewards, not GWPs. They were also produced in very limited quantities, and the coins had the added issue that interest built in the series as a whole as they individually released, while many were just waiting for the final two coins. So there was a surge in interest late in the game, and scalpers had months to catch on and grab what they could. They also dropped the Space coin at least three hours early in the US, and delayed Coin 5 and Ulysses to very inconvenient times. On top of all that, the queueing system doesn’t work for the Rewards Center (hence why it’s currently “Under Maintenance”). These issues aren’t really the same as letting people place dozens of qualifying orders for a really desirable GWP.
@NeilJam:
@Anak:
The queueing system is only integrated into the shopping site (and has to be manually switched on). If the VIP Rewards Center gets overwhelmed, you just get an “under maintenance” notice until they can get the page running again.
@ElephantKnight:
You skipped all the data entry and hit the PayPal button, didn’t you? I got that same message no matter what address I tried to use, so I eventually went back to the cart, added my address/shipping/billing info, and PayPal worked fine. I think the issue is that if you jump straight to PayPal, they don’t default to Standard (free) shipping, so the system chokes on the shipping method. Not all shipment services are available to all destination (Next Day to the North Slope of Alaska is pretty much impossible unless it’s coming from a nearby village that has a direct commuter flight…or you pay through the nose for something of a life-or-death nature).
@NeilJam:
Impossible to say, but this one won’t be cheap on the secondary market. If it hasn’t gone to In Warehouse by the time the phone lines open, you can try to redeem a physical reward code and have them retroactively apply it to any order that doesn’t already have a physical reward item. I don’t know about applying rebate codes after the fact, and I think digital rewards are available immediately.
Placed my order 40 minutes after going live and got both gwp. Was planning on using VIP points on my purchase, but of course the system is down. Couldn’t risk waiting until morning to order though, out of fear that the promo will be gone by then
I was pretty surprised Optimus hung on all month, but I got it and the two GWPs. Smooth sailing, the Lego North America site has always worked well for me
@Modeltrainman:
@madforLEGO:
Bricklink will accept shipping data from PayPal, but on LEGO.com you apparently need to go through the first few steps like you would for a CC payment, and click PayPal right before you’d enter your card number.
@NeilJam:
Finally!
“We regret to inform you that the two items you were actually waiting for will be added at a random later time, so don’t go to sleep or try to drive anywhere if you still want them.”
D’oh!
I credit Lego for having more in stock right now. I checked a number of items and they were all in stock so it came down to what I wanted to get over $150.
So I settled on Mos Eisley Cantina 75290. Obviously over $150 but I don't have it and I missed getting it during May the Fourth.
Second batch was another 31120 Medieval Castle and 80109 Lunar New Year Ice Festival as the Chinese New Year sets don't seem to last longer than a year and I might as well get it while I can.
Now I just have to ask myself if I want a third Forest Hideout or not.
@PurpleDave, good to know. I was a kid when the inspiration for this GWP came out. I was wondering if I wrecked my chances.

I had a couple cancel (it was the Year of the Tiger GWPs of all things). It was only super-infuriating because: (1) Lego didn't notify me that they were canceling the GWP part of the order (which is considered a 'bait and switch' illegal marketing tactic in most states, and I only found out by reviewing my order on the Lego site); (2) the Lego rep insisted that she wouldn't do anything to remedy the situation because I was at fault for violating the policy; and (3) she insisted that Lego always enforces the policy without exception, and has been doing so for all time.
This was ludicrous (as we all know). Since then, I was worried about getting on some kind of Lego 'naughty list.' They do exist.
Lately (with Cardboard and May 4th GWPs), I got a bit braver. I was able to get two May 4ths online and 1 in store without trouble. Likewise, I made 3 Cardboard online orders without trouble. Let's hope they don't change it AGAIN! :{
I am a morning bird so got up at 05:00 this morning and ordered it without much trouble before I went to work. My experience is that they are never sold out that early in the morning, in addition I do not have to stay up way to late and get all the trouble trying to order it just after midnight :P I used BAM, B&P and sets to get over the threshold so nice to see that everything adds up now not only sets :)
Apparently this promo will be available again 2-14 of August, so we will see have long the stock lasts this round. If they sell out now maybe they will make a new batch for the castle release..
Edit: I see now that they state in the terms that B&P orders do not qualify for this promo :S I thought that was a thing of the past and my order has been approved with the promo. So if they cancel the promo I will just cancel the order, but do not think that is likely to happen :/
@Modeltrainman:
Same here. That was my first Forestmen set, because I never did manage to get the Camouflaged Outpost. If you got the order to process, I expect it’ll be fine. I couldn’t even do that, at first. I clicked Checkout, then straight to PayPal, and I couldn’t click the button to go back to LEGO.com as long as I had the “does not ship there” error at the top of the pop up. I had to back out of payment and start the checkout process all over again.

Crap, I guess I've never run into the one per household with GWP, it makes sense though, especially for this. Anyone know what happens if you have two orders? I wonder if the whole 2nd order will get cancelled or if just the GWP disappear. Either way...Oops.

Thankfully, I've always had multiple GWP go through.
What eventually helped with me was using a different computer, using microsoft edge and before logging in adding everything to the basket. The GWP was added then, and when I logged in, the basket stayed the same.

I thought they canceled the entire order. But, I double-checked, and they just cancelled the GWP when it happened to me.
It hasn't happened since Jan. Keep your fingers crossed! :)
I’m honestly kinda annoyed that they’re running this promo now in NA, when I’m planning on spending this amount on the new Ninjago sets, available in other regions now. Means I’ll have to miss out on this, because of the staggered releases of sets in the old and new world.

oops .... guess I'll be seeing those complete order cancellation emails in the morning then"
I've never had that enforced... as several cardboard adventures, vintage taxis, Amelia Earhart tributes, vintage cars, sailboats, etc, etc confirm!"
I had a couple cancel (it was the Year of the Tiger GWPs of all things). It was only super-infuriating because: (1) Lego didn't notify me that they were canceling the GWP part of the order (which is considered a 'bait and switch' illegal marketing tactic in most states, and I only found out by reviewing my order on the Lego site); (2) the Lego rep insisted that she wouldn't do anything to remedy the situation because I was at fault for violating the policy; and (3) she insisted that Lego always enforces the policy without exception, and has been doing so for all time."
I suspect any policy enforcing is done on a very localised basis, depending on supply issues for particular distribution centres. I've certainly never had any problem with multiple copies of any GWPs (including 3 'Year of the Tiger's) shipped from Belgium.
that is messed up. i also got multiple copies of the year of the tiger and cardboard adventure. i would rather they cancel the whole order, as i wait for gwps to buy a bunch of stuff all at once. otherwise id just space it out if the gwp is one per person. if they don't notify that they are just removing the gwp only, that's really poor/ surprising customer service. they really need to say one per household on the main promo pic, not in the fine print. especially since its a policy that apparently changes. i've had it enforced on regular sets over the limit and the entire order was canceled. weird that it would be different procedure with gwp.
-apologies for no caps, and weird punctuation, my keyboard is broken-
The Forest Hideout wasn't in my basket, neither in Edge nor in Chrome (even after a new login, but it did show up in the confirmation e-mail.
Anyone able to acquire that retro LEGO logo poster / art print in the VIP Rewards Center? I wanted to add this to my order but it’s still showing as coming soon. Even though it was announced for today.

It does stink. It puts you in a double bind of not knowing what to do. You just have to wait and then keep checking your order status. Not very fun or convenient. Otherwise, you might receive shipments you'll want to return because of the missing GWP. Also inconvenient.
Perhaps Lego™ likes it this way. It gets us on a variable reinforcement schedule to log in to their website. Any student of behavioral psychology will remember that is the best way to ensure future behavior.
Ordered at a little past 7 AM, no problem.
@StyleCounselor, that would make sense, those sneaky Lego psychologists!
But that does make it very inconvenient as my closest physical store is nearly an entire tank of gas away, grrrr...
-Hey, my caps and punctuation have returned! HuZzAh!-
Meanwhile, I just paid an equivalent of $25 for this set. Ordered online from an independent retailer (based in Malaysia/Singapore).
Ninjago polybag offer still not available in US. Saves me temptation since only set I’d want to pay retail for is $300. So I ordered Monkie Kid instead.
VIP sticker and print still coming soon but I was at least able to redeem points for coupon.
I also think it would be lame to cancel only the GWP. I’ve had entire orders cancelled because I didn’t realize order limit is “for life” and I didn’t recall how many Nexo knight blister packs (of all things) I bought months earlier.
Yep, same for me- I forgot how many of a thing I bought and I was new to buying online and didn't know it was a lifetime limit, thought it was a per order limit. They really need a better system to keep track instead of scrubbing old emails, now I use a spreadsheet at least, which is still dumb.
Why aren't my comments nesting even when I hit "reply"...all sorts of technical issues today. sigh.
I had the Van Gogh set in the cart and checked out at 12:01. I was so happy to get the Forestman set.
Just ordered Back to the Future Time Machine and got this for free! Yay!

Apparently this promo will be available again 2-14 of August ;)
Just realized I totally forgot to order last night so I panicked and hardly dared check if it was still available, but no troubles ordering Starry Night now with the GWP. Excited!
Pyramid out of stock, it was available when I checked at half seven am, then when I went to order two hours later, it had gone.
Because of that I actually had to get more sets than I planned to get the hideout and Aston Martin too, so it's actually a better value order. I got four sets instead of two, six counting the gwps.
Had a quick confirmation too.
Totally forgot when this offer started. Saw Brickset this morning and expected to have missed out. But at 11am UK time GWP still available as is 21333. Thanks Brickset!
Order already shipped :O
That was quick!

I used to get multiple GWP as well, but when I ordered Optimus Prime a couple of weeks ago, Cardboard adventure was added to my basket but then removed since I had gotten it earlier that month. That’s fine by me.
I waited until this morning to get the Hideout and everything worked perfectly well.

"It's also available in Australia.
I've had an expensive morning, but I badly wanted that Forest Hideout set, so, I'm okay."
That's a gip for you guys; it's £150, $150US, & €150 which are close but not the same. It should be $150AUS or they should vary it properly from area to area.
They really are bad on consistency.
7:20 EST, Forest Hideout still available. VIP system worked fine (used for price reduction). Got email confirmation. Seems they made enough to satisfy the super motivated that modified their sleep schedule for it, plus I imagine the limit 1 helped.
Finally picked up the UCS Republic Gunship! Forest Hideout still available as of 7:40AM EST!
When do we get a review Huw?

Apparently this promo will be available again 2-14 of August, so we will see have long the stock lasts this round. If they sell out now maybe they will make a new batch for the castle release..
Edit: I see now that they state in the terms that B&P orders do not qualify for this promo :S I thought that was a thing of the past and my order has been approved with the promo. So if they cancel the promo I will just cancel the order, but do not think that is likely to happen :/"

Can anyone else confirm this?
Geez, this GWP still won't add to my basket (in the Norwegian LEGO.com). The threshold is OK and I've even deleted coockies with no luck. Well, maybe this wasn't meant for me then.

Edit: Same result in the Safari and Chrome browser too. Omg I'm loosing it, haha..

I had to change browser to make it work (NL LEGO.com) - couldn't do it in Firefox, worked immediately in Chrome (which I otherwise never use). Hope this helps you

i was surprised, got mine at like 12:01 eastern time and no issues with the website!
Thanks for the heads up, Brickset! I totally forgot about this promo but was able to grab it here this morning in the US. Cheers!
Any news on the Vintage LEGO® Logo Poster and LEGO Duck Lenticular Sticker? I was under the impression that was suppose to be released today but nothing yet. I guess I'll continue the ole Lego wait and refresh routine.

It still appears in my basket this late in the afternoon.
Odd, seems like they actually anticipated demand this time.
I'm gonna order the Van Gogh, but hopefully I'll find that set and the GWP in my local LEGO Store on monday so I can cancel my order and avoid the terrible shipping company TLG uses in Austria. Those bastards have not ever shown up at my door.
Historically I would get multiple GWPs, but it sounds like they are cracking down more now...sometimes. So gamble with it I guess. I'd love more than one, but I don't know how badly I want to risk spending that much money only to have the GWP get cancelled. Have to return the whole order.
Sorry to be reading about all these issues...
I just successfully ordered (from US). Work prevented me from ordering earlier today.
I'm a really big castle fan (as my name implies ;) ), so I am very excited about this set! I hope it lives up to my childhood expectations!
So happy the Starry Night set was available. I think this is the best GWP in recent memory for me. The micro scale Diagon Alley is the last GWP I was this excited for. Hoping for more castle/forestmen sets soon!

My solution:
Empty basket - Log out Lego account - Add items as guest (also coupons) - Check promo(s) added - Log in at the moment of confirm order - Voilà!
+16 hours since promo started /facepalm
Was too tired last night and forgot about this. Woke up this morning and remembered, so I went to my shopping cart, saw the Optimus Prime set that I had sitting in it along with 2 GWPs, and placed the order.
Aaaand its no more
Still available in the US at 2p EST. I also just picked up a copy from our local LEGO store. Can't wait to build it! As I've mentioned previously, it was the one Forestmen set that eluded me as a child, and I'm beyond excited to complete our family's LEGO (Sherwood) Forest.

Ps. In order to make the GWP threshold, my daughter picked a Friends set, and my son went with Jurassic World, while I grabbed 71766 Lloyd's Legendary Dragon, which 10-year-old me would have loved to incorporate into the Forestmen's world, and 43-year-old me will probably enjoy just as much!
Some markets are already sold out (Italy, Switzerland, Estonia), but for majority of EU countries it's still avaliable.
The German Lego site has them for sale individually for €24.99 apparently. Think they should have done that anyway.

Nope, it shows that this is free item - https://www.lego.com/en-de/product/forest-hideout-40567
with the price of 25 euros - that you will pay if you won't return it while returning your item(s).
I just finished building the Hideout. It hit all of the appropriate levels of nostalgia and modernity. I loved it. More, please, LEGO.
Just to be safe I stopped at my nearest Lego store on my way to work. Wasn't even crowded, even though there are a lot of tourists around this week. Walked up, bought a couple of City sets I'd been saving for just such an occasion, and walked out with the Hideout.
Its 1 person household, so just order another one and send it to someone you know. As much as I want 2, August is gonna be an expensive month for Lego
I just got one per my order! Glad I waited to buy 60351, even being 1 cent less I still got it and the Aston Martin. Sigh, now I hope they don't come crushed

"I don't know why people will think the gwp will instantly sell out. It's not a limited edition VIP item. GWPs usually last at least a day minimum, and that's when there are 100 new sets debuting. There are no new sets today besides this gwp."
I already covered those things you mentioned. The Ulysses probe and the VIP coins were limited edition purchased VIP items, so that situation is not applicable here. The Vintage Car came out in conjunction with 100 newly released sets, which is not the case today. And even then, the gwp lasted a day.
Forest Hideout is still available. It did not sell out instantly.
@Nytmare:
Vintage Car also had a spend in the $70-75 range, didn’t it? That’s low enough that people could split orders and scoop up a few just on new sets that launched the same day. I tried to get a second copy the next day, and left an open order for maybe 90 minutes and it had sold out, not quite 36 hours in. Another member of my LUG ordered four from Bricklink so we could split them (at least one seller had a dozen). And then maybe a month or two later, I get notified of an incoming package, and it’s a second copy from LEGO.com that I would have qualified for on Jan2 if I’d placed my order right away when I first loaded my cart.
I didn't see it mentioned that this is 1 per household... I placed 2 orders and both seemed to show that I'd get the GWP. I'm not sure why they would limit it when someone could just use a friends address or go to the Lego store to get around the 1 per household limit. Hopefully I get both of mine.
I got two. I'm planning another order to get one more...
Finally got the police station, been holding it of until this released
great set was hoping it would be gwp with upcoming 90th anniversiry castle set which then would only go to people who really wanted it, there's allready about 70 for sale on ebay already..... hopefully they will reissuse (or even have it on reguluar sale) when the castle set is released?

Well, its suppose to go back on Aug 2nd – Aug 14th, 2022, which seems to be for castle release ... :)
Anyone else had their Forest Hideout shipped separately from the rest of your order? I have just received my order without the GWP, but I got a mail with two tracking codes, and thus two packages were sent, so I'm assuming the GWP is in the package that hasn't arrived yet.
I spent a rather stressful day at work yesterday having noticed the promotion and not being able to order until I got home, but selected a perfect set of items I wanted to get 3 GWP's and even managed to use a Gift card i'd been worried may mess up the GWP trigger point. All was well. One thing I didn't understand was it said you cant use Paypal if you use a Giftcard ????????? The only thing I can think of is a bug where it charges you the full amount and can't deduct the card value. No idea why that would be a thing?
The Hideout is still available at 12:30p EST on Friday in the US at LEGO.com. I need to pick up some birthday presents for two parties on Saturday, and if our local LEGO store has any copies left, I may have to pony up for a third one. And I plan to build and/or mod every one of them to fit in our Castle layout. Did I mention that I love it?! If the Hideout was a retail set at the $25 RRP that I saw on my order receipts, I would absolutely buy at least four copies.
I had a difficult time picking from my Wish Lists to formulate a $150 order. $7300 of total products :) I chose:
- 60344 Chicken Henhouse $9.99
- 10290 Pickup Truck $129.99
- 40517 Vespa $9.99
- 31128 Dolphin and Turtle $9.99 (I needed to add 3 more cents of product, this looked fun)
I don't understand this listing: https://www.ebay.com/itm/384920684059
72 sets sold? Is this some eBay trick or what?
@rab1234:
I was told they track limits by the purchaser, so sending five copies of a Limit 5 set to five friends uses up your cap. LEGO Stores have a similar policy, which is Limit X per customer per store per day. Go the same day you place an online order and you can get two easy. Go back the next day and you can get a third, assuming they have any left.
@TimotheusFlavii:
Worst I’ve got so far was an order that shipped the “set” type stuff in one package, the Bestseller PAB in a second, _TWO_ elements that didn’t ship with the other Bestsellers in a third package (all of which I got tracking data for), and then a fourth package for Standard PAB that didn’t provide any tracking data so the first I was aware that it had shipped may have been the notification of successful delivery.
Just got my Lego order this morning - without the Forest Hideout!
I did buy the order during the glitched period on the UK end a couple of days ago, despite its inclusion confirmed in the following emails..
Hopefully it's an isolated incident, but just a reminder for those in the UK to check their shipping boxes.
Bit of a headache!

Same here.
I ordered during the glitch period i.e. not in basket but showing in the email.. and just received my order complete with GWP in one shipping. So sounds like it's possibly localised to some orders / batches of orders
I have though myself never ever ever had GWP issued separately except in cases where;
- the main item was something that literally filled the box/was the entire box like the UCS AT-AT.. the lightsaber GWP was in a separate box i.e. no way they can pack those in the same box.
- where main items are backordered, the GWP is sent either with the things that are in stock, or I've had it sent separately - perhaps to clear backlog in warehouse etc.
My forest hideout has been shipped with the rest of my order, according to what I got yesterday.
I checked the pyramid today and saw you could order it, so I did. I got confirmation and then I checked my order status and it says awaiting stock. I don't mind ordering on back order, but to say you can add it to your bag then put await stock on status is not good. Especially when you have confirmation.
Update: I had an email that its on backorder, shipping in 60 days.
I see a lot of these sets on the secondary market for €40,- to €50,-, so scalpers are having a great time with this gwp
Just got back from the local lego store. They had tons of them in stock.
My local Lego store is two hours away.

Definitely looks sketchy.
Regarding the GWP, it’s just sitting in my cart and I have not decided if I can swing a big purchase this month. On one hand the nostalgia hits hard. But on the other hand, if I take a step back and try to be reasonable it’s a simple build that’s mostly black bricks.
Pre ordered the Galaxy Explorer x 2 to get the Forest Hideout GWP. Thanks to a fellow ILUGNY member for the tip!
