Clearly not the more common 2654 or 93791, for that matter.

Slide Shoe Round,
With love we'll find a way, just give it time.

Man how many names does LEGO have for this part? I’ve heard them called boat studs as well. And in Stud.io they’re called something else entirely.

Doesn’t look like a shoe.

@JGW3000:
That trick only works for set numbers. For parts and minifigs, you either have to post the number as plain text, or copy the actual URL over.

@Quinnly:
It’s a horseshoe. For elephants. Which, if you understand how elephant feet work, doesn’t make any sense, and sounds very painful. I don’t think the elephant will be very appreciative of being shod.

Slide Shoe! A better description than boat stud imo!

Doing the ol' slide shoe shuffle...

Whenever I see this part, I have to think about Ice Planet rockets...

RIP the person unfortunate enough to have to use this as a shoe!

You can’t fool me, RPotD, the Slide Shoe Round is obviously a dance not a brick!

I think about sweet lego boats from the 80s.

Pedant here: 90s. They introduced it in '91, on time to be included in the new harbour sets 6540, 6541 & 6542. Two years earlier, and 6274 and 6275 would have benefitted from them, too.
I retrofitted old boats with them; these slide shoes are jus great parts!

Ah yes, indeed, it was the break between 80s and 90s. Good catch!

If we’re voting on alternate names, I prefer Shellraiser Buffer, since I added four of these to the underside of my Shellraiser MOC. One of the other guys in my LUG made the Detroit People Mover, including the track it runs on. The track is built into a shell with sidewalls. Running the Shellraiser on it not only requires lifting it up two plates, but the uneven joints in the sidewall would catch on the bottom plates on the Shellraiser’s body. Adding these allowed it to slide over these uneven spots. It tears the heck out of the Shellraiser Buffers, but they do the trick.

That is a very pleasing number.

Almost all I use it for is headlights, and at that, it's the best!
